What will we see in the coming years because of the results of this election? It will be frightening at best. The re-elected president is a man who was raised to believe that Marxism is the answer to all the world’s problems and America’s capitalistic free market system is the cause of all the world’s problems. He has exhibited total disdain for what has made America the greatest nation the world has ever seen.
Let’s look at what is coming to America because we decided to re-elect a man who was raised a Marxist and one who believes that the very few, the elite, are far better to make your decisions for you because you are not qualified to do it yourself. Granted there are a few that qualify and that is their right but the majority of Americans, I believe, are capable of better decisions than our re-elected president.
EPA regulations which Obama told the EPA to hold off announcing until after the election. These regulations will cost Americans $700 billion and will prevent any new plants from being built. Our power grid is aging and needs massive updates but these regulations will only make that worse. Obama’s re-election will also allow the EPA to continue its attack on coal and all other fossil fuels and promote the so-called ‘green energy’ that has failed in all counties where it has been established and mandated.
Considering the regulations that the EPA established in 2011 which caused a steep rise in energy prices for all Americans and will cause utility companies to have an initial cash outlay of $800 million to reduce supposed harmful emissions. These regulations will cost $129 billion and will close down one fifth of our coal plants. This will result in a reduction of 8.5% of our coal capacity with no plans to replace the loss in a time of rising energy needs.
Another thing to consider concerning the re-election of Obama is Obamacare will stay. Along with all of the taxes that we are still finding buried in it. Taxes every time you use your bank account or sell your house. Taxed you if you don’t have insurance and when you buy the insurance a group of unelected bureaucrats will decide what kind of care they will let you have. Remember when Obama said that our taxes would not be raised by one dime? Remember when he said that healthcare costs would drop $3000.00? They have risen by $2500.00. That is a $5500.00 shift, all out of your pocket. This is only the start. The costs all go up from there.
In a previous column I brought up all of Obama’s czars. Virtually every one of them is Marxists. Several are radical homosexuals that demand that the homosexual lifestyle be forced upon the American people at the cost of our Constitutional freedoms. He has a Science Czar, John Holdren, who is an anti-business environmentalist that has no science training.
Regulatory Czar, Cass Sunstein, who, as a liberal activist judge, ruled against personal freedoms for gun rights and firmly believes that free speech needs to be limited for the ‘common good’.
How about his Great Lakes Czar, Cameron Davis who is another anti-business environmentalist who has no experience or training in water management whatsoever.
Then we have his Drug Czar, Gil Kerlikowske who is a devoted lobbyist for the strictest gun laws believing that no American should be allowed to own a gun and supports the legalization of all drugs.
Aids Czar, Jeffrey Crowley, is a radical homosexual who supports marriage and special status for homosexuals only, including free healthcare for gays only.
These are the people that Obama has surrounded himself with. Many are anti- capitalists, anti- free market, anti-Constitution and pro big government. I will do a column in the near future on Valarie Jarrett. She is the most influential in the White House.
Another thing we will see in America is the massive loss of businesses. Our corporate taxes are the highest in the world. Between the taxes and Obamacare many businesses will relocate off shore simply for the case of expenses. Staying in America will not be profitable any more. Our jobs will leave with them.
Fossil
fuels will heavily discouraged. Obama will not increase permits for
drilling for oil off shore or on federal lands. This will cause gas
prices to skyrocket and that will cause the price of just about everything
else to skyrocket. Food, clothing, appliances, building products, medical
supplies. Green energy will be put on the front burner even though no
nation that has invested in it heavily has made it work. All the solar
panels will come from China because we can’t make them cheap enough.
Anybody remember Solyndra and all the other green energy companies that
Obama funded that have gone broke. Or the electric car company that
took the money and then built a factory in Europe. Stimulus spent and
not one American job created.
Also keep in mind that most of the stimulus money went to Obama’s
campaign donors. Funny how that works and the Media says nothing about
it.
I’m sure we all remember Obama’s open mic blunder when he told the representative from Russia that “He would have more flexibility after his election”.
Then we have his statement on election night that he would work with both sides of the isle to get things accomplished. Why would we believe that? He hasn’t worked with Republicans in four years, why would he do it now? He hasn’t even met with Congress in general since July. He hasn’t met with his ‘business’ committee in nine months! It must have interfered with his Tee Time. Are we to believe that he will actually establish a Secretary of Business? Who will he nominate for that post? Someone who has never run a business or had to make a payrole?
One of the most devastating results of this election is the probable appointments to the Supreme Court. The two that he has already put on the bench, Sotomayor and Kagan, are the most liberal, Constitution ignoring (hating) members in the Court. Kagan has admitted on video to legislating from the bench and then laughing when she stated “Even though we aren’t supposed to”. These appointments with effect an entire generation. Five members of the Court already use international law in deciding cases even though they are sworn to uphold the Constitution. We can’t afford to have a Supreme Court that pays no attention to our Constitution. Congress already does that. Having all three branches of government doing that will doom America.
Another aspect that we are looking at is the Bush tax cuts are set to expire in January and Obama has stated that he will let them expire. Remember when he said that taxes wouldn’t go up one dime? He was right; they are going up about $2500.00. His idea of boosting the economy is to raise taxes on the rich, i.e. the ones who create jobs, and spend more money. Taxing the rich will cause them to not create more jobs because they won’t have the funds to expand plus there won’t be a need to expand because no one will be able to purchase their products/services because of a lack of cash flow.
Now, consider how Obama has treated Israel the last four years. Our best ally in the Middle East and he has not even visited the nation. He has gone to several of the Arab nations but has refused to go to Israel. Remember the time he left him to go have dinner with his family. He’s even gone as far as to have Bibi enter and leave through the door that the trash is taken out of. Is this the way to treat our best ally?
How about Obama cancelling the Day of Prayer celebration at the White House but holds a celebration for Ramadan? Then all of the attacks on the religious community from forcing religious organizations to supply birth control which is against their beliefs. Strange enough on that matter Muslims don’t have to participate in Obamacare because it is against their religious beliefs but Protestants and Catholics do have to even though it is against their religious beliefs.

These are just a few of the major problems we face in the next four years. I believe that God is not through with America, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be hard times. Those that know how to depend on God will do well. Those that don’t will be in for a hard, hard time. President Eisenhower stated: “Some politician some years ago said that bad officials are elected by good voters who did not vote.” This election was one of those. So many evangelicals didn’t vote and that helped Obama to win re-election. Will we continue to elect people who have no regard for our Constitution and our Christian values? If we do, America is over. Will we return to the Biblical values our Founders lived by or will we go by way of Europe? We can see what is happening there. Why would we go down that road?
For those that make it through the next four years I hope that we will go a different direction because this one leads to failure.
