LET 'EM FALL

The bigger they are, the harder they fall. SO LET ‘EM FALL! If readers want to place the blame, we don’t have to look any further than to we, the people who continue to return to office every election cycle these shysters whose only claim to fame is their own greed. A wise man once said, "to vote the same people in office over-and-over and expect different results is a form of insanity." Occasionally a good third party Constitutional candidate tries to run for office but the media ignores them so voters buy into the propaganda of the “chosen” sons and daughters of the two-party corrupt system who they always claim have more “experience.” That “experience” reminds me of Barak Obama’s “change” while everything remains the same in the swampland along the Potomac.

Congressman Ron Paul’s run for president was a perfect example. “Dr. No” has always been against big government and has the voting record to prove it. Being an honorable man of his word, Ron Paul did not run on a third-party ticket after losing in the GOP primary but if voters choose Chuck Baldwin on the Constitution party ticket in November and he chooses Ron Paul for his V.P., we still may be able to salvage what is left of our country. That is, if we have an election. We may be up to our necks in a “Wag the Dog” diversionary war by then.

McCain’s candidacy wasn’t doing well until he recruited Alaska Governor, Sarah Palin to be his V.P. I had mixed emotions at that point. Do we go with McCain or stick with the Constitution party candidate? Months earlier he said he’d sooner lose the election than lose the war in Iraq as he called for a troop surge. Wouldn’t it be powerful if he’d call a press conference and say he’d sooner lose the election than lose our country, and take a stand against the proposed bailout and call for eliminating the unconstitutional Federal Reserve?

Most of these dipsticks in Washington, D.C. can’t even balance their own personal checkbooks so how on earth are they going to bail us out of this financial mess? We are all going to “collectively” suffer “equally” but isn’t that what “democracy” is all about? Long ago we begin to stray from our “republic.” Had our elected officials honored their oaths of office and stayed under that Constitutional umbrella of protection, we would not need the Plunge Protection Team today to manipulate the market and make us believe all is well on the home front as they take from Peter to pay Paul.

I have no idea what type of “bailout” these lickspittles will develop but it will only be a Band-Aide and the dominoes will continue to fall. I fear the Rip Van Winkle Congress woke up too late. There were numerous warnings that they did not heed so they allowed the predatory lending that exploited people’s need for money to continue. They are a trillion or more short and a few months late! You hear them speak of Armageddon. My husband and I were Depression babies but this is worse than the thirties. Back then people did not have credit cards. Both sets of our parents died without ever having a credit card. They paid cash and if they didn’t have the cash, they didn’t buy.

I have before me a Liberty Letter dated February 1973 with headlines: Fiscal Ceiling Needed! Wild Deficit Spending Threatens National Survival. “Once again America is on the verge of drowning in red ink - $445 billion in debt with another $30 billion deficit likely this year. The Administration spends but Congress must first authorize. Tying an appropriation ceiling to receipts would be the greatest single step toward control of runaway spending. If the legislators would refuse to appropriate more than the Nation’s income, Uncle Sam would have to determine real priorities and dump nonessentials.” Follow the money. Entering from stage “left” – the lobbyists on the Potomac who contribute to campaigns at election time – honest graft which 435 Congressmen and 100 Senators have the power to accept or reject but most cooperate in this “con” game no matter the party. It is time we vote ‘em all out and buy 'em a one way ticket to Russia.

Tolerant Americans have been putting up with this corruption for too long. Where is their outrage? There were some screaming bloody murder years ago but the elected officials didn’t listen. When a few in the Republican Party would rebel, they were told to be patient. After all, the Republican Party is better than anything the Democrats offered. Today we have a bunch of clueless bozos steering our ship of state right off the cliff as I draft this article. Corporate gangsters have stolen us blind. Remember what President Bush said after 9-11? “Return to normal.” We were urged to stay the course on the Titanic! People rushed to churches – for a couple weeks after 9-11 and then, yes, they returned to normal. They returned to everything that God deplores and we wonder now why the wrath of God is upon us?

When the California Supreme Court allowed the Sodomites to marry earlier this year, some predicted dire consequences. I heard a liberal talk show host, hostile to Christians, mockingly say, “Well, San Francisco hasn’t fallen into the ocean.” Revelation 6:12-13 talks about the upheaval in the natural universe so I grinned and thought, “No, not yet!”

Leaders are made, not born! Leadership is forged in time of crisis. But where have all the leaders gone? Who in government besides Congressman Ron Paul has articulated the means for paying down the national debt, saving the middle class or solving the energy crisis? The silence is deafening. After Hurricane Katrina everyone hunkered down, crossed their fingers and hoped it didn’t happen again. Well, it is happening again and again and again. The Final Destruction of the Middle Class.

We are watching prophecy unfold before our eyes. Revelation 6:5-6 says when he opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, “Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse (famine); and he that sat on him had a pair of balances (scales) in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, a measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny, and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.” Translation according to J. Vernon McGee’s commentary: A choenix (a quart) of wheat for a denarius, and three choenix (quarts) of barley for a denarius. The Greek historian Herodotus says that a choenix of corn was a soldier’s daily supply of food. A denarious was a day’s wage (Matt. 20:2) Therefore, a workingman will be unable to support his family in that day.

And, of course, the oil and wine were the items of luxury for the rich. During World War II the rich always had enough food and luxury while the poor people had rations. My mother packed a big purse during that time filled with ration books. That was then but perhaps things will be different this time around.

Lets jump down to verses Rev. 6: 15, 16, 17: And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondsman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains. And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb. For the great day of his wrath is come, and who shall be able to stand?

At first there was talk about bailing out just the Chicago-type thugs (big financial institutions) and people facing loss of their homes. Then there was the suggestion that everyone get bailed out – those with student loans, unpaid car loans and credit card debt. They even wanted to bail out foreign investors who bought our worthless paper. My mind raced to the Year of Jubilee in Leviticus 25. Every 50th year in Israel was to be announced a jubilee year. One effect of the Jubilee Year was to prevent a permanent system of classes. The Jubilee Year had a leveling effect on Israel’s culture. It gave everyone a chance to start over, economically and socially. Maybe a total collapse is the answer; however, in today’s 2008 Year of Jubilee the irresponsible and greedy would walk away from their debts but the responsible would be punished. Failure for the irresponsible isn’t all that bad. Perhaps we learn from our lessons and maybe this is going to be a time of cleansing for our once great Republic. Sometimes the forests have to burn!

These are the best of times and the worst of times depending on where each person is with the Lord. Maybe each of you had better get that settled quickly, At first I speculated our misleaders were trying to collapse the dollar so they could proceed to merge Canada, America and Mexico into the North America Union with the new currency, the Amero. But since the financial meltdown, maybe there isn’t time. A recent Communist newspaper is calling for a “one world currency” which would require a “one world leader.”

I’m afraid the Plunge Protection Team isn’t going to bail us out this time. The party is over, folks! Get used to it! Be sure to call your Senator and Congressman and give him or her a piece of your mind, firmly but politely of course.
