REINVENTING GOVERNMENT WITH DEMOCRACY

We heard how we had to “reinvent America” in President Bill Clinton’s 1993 inaugural address. He said, “We celebrate the mystery of American renewal in the depth of winter but we speak and the faces we show the world, we force the spring – a spring reborn in the world’s oldest democracy, that brings forth the vision and courage to reinvent America.” In the shortest inaugural speech in history, Clinton added, “When our Founders boldly declared America’s independence to the world and our purposes to the Almighty, they knew that America to endure, would have to change.” When our Founders heard that, they must have turned over in their graves!

Barack Obama came along and simply regurgitated the same old progressive, Marxist mantra. What America needs is restoration to our Constitutional principles not reinvention or restructuring. It if ain’t broke, don’t fix it. What has happened to America has been purposeful since the turn of the 20th century. Counting on Americans to have short memories and by rewriting our history books and encouraging us to become materialistic, quietly, quietly while the sheep slept in front of their entertainment centers, on the golf course, the bowling alley, at athletic events, vacationing in their ocean-view or mountain second homes or riding in their motor homes, the elite globalists under the radar have been building the North American Union moving America into New World Order law by law, Executive Order by Executive Order. Strobe Talbot, Obama’s adviser and President of the Brookings Institute, longs for the day when “Nationhood…will be obsolete and all nations will recognize a single, global authority. ” The first time we heard about the New World Order was during the presidency of George H.W. Bush in the early nineties. Was the frosting put on the cake at the November 4, 2008 election? In some ways the “Modern Little Red Hen” reminds me of ACORN (only in reverse.) While many Americans made excuses why they couldn’t be a political activist, ACORN, in cahoots with the SEIU, was organizing.

Bill Clinton’s election was the first of the baby boomers who came out of the sixties sexual revolution. What began in the 1960s, symbolized and represented by the riots and demonstrations of 1968, was the eruption of a counterculture. Occasionally we’ve had pockets of rebelliousness, some mavericks and a few oddballs but the sixties crowd seemed to be a collective phenomenon. The lunatics continued to take over the asylum and now they control the White House, the House of Representatives and the Senate.

Two of the goals for the Communist party U.S.A. in the sixties were to build the party membership with young recruits and build party strength with fellow travelers such as those listed as members of the ISS below. I often wondered how and when we moved from being a Republic to being a democracy. The average American today still believes we have our traditional Constitutional government. Nothing could be farther from the truth.

How did this democracy come about? Well, while most of us slept, it developed gradually as a result of a new movement in the United States. The 5000-Year Leap by W. Cleon Skousen published in 1981 told how approximately 100 people met in New York in 1905 and organized what they called the Intercollegiate Socialist Society (ISS). Students and academics have always been democracy’s foot soldiers so it is understandable that chapters were established on more than sixty college and university campuses coast-to-coast. Co-directors …explained that the ISS was set up to “throw light on the world-wide movement of industrial DEMOCRACY known as socialism.” (The New York Times, Jan. 28, 1919)

A review of the roster of early ISS members would also reveal that by the 1930s the more brilliant young leaders of the movement from World War I days had risen to some of the most prestigious positions in politics, press, publishing houses, radio, academic circles, teacher-training colleges, the National Council of Churches and just about every other major center of opinion-molding influence.

Socialism is defined as “government ownership or control of all the means of production (farms, factories, mines and natural resources) and all the means of distribution (transportation, communications, and the instruments of commerce.)” Skousen said obviously, this is not a “democracy” in the classical sense. Authority in our Republic is derived through the election by the people of public officials best fitted to represent them in a free-market economy and the very antithesis of socialism. The ISS adopted a snappy slogan for the times: “Production for use, not for profit.” This seemed to catch on. (Remember Barack Obama telling Joe the plumber he wanted to redistribute the wealth?) Hundreds of men and women who later became big names in government, press, radio, television and motion pictures were among the early recruits. However, by 1921 the violence associated with the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) had given the term “socialism” a strongly repugnant meaning to many people so the ISS decided to change its name to “The League for Industrial DEMOCRACY.” The word “democracy” was supposed to carry the message that through the nationalization (government expropriation) of all the means of production and distribution, the nation’s fabulous resources would become the property of “all the people” - hence democracy. Various devices were used to alert the public to the true meaning of the word. For example, the U.S. Army’s Training Manual No. 2000-25, published in 1928, contained a whole section explaining the difference between a democracy and a republic in their original, historical sense.

The manual had the following to say concerning the characteristics of a democracy: A government of the masses, authority deprived through mass meetings or any other form of “direct” expression, results in mobocracy, attitude toward property is communistic – negative property rights, attitude toward the law is that the will of the majority shall regulate, whether it be based upon deliberation or government by passion, prejudice, and impulse, without restraining or regard to consequences and the results in demagogism, license, agitation, discontent, anarchy. James Madison said democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property: and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths (Federalist Papers, No. 10, p.81)

Is all of this control beginning to sound like the Barack Obama administration? His goal seems to be to nationalize the entire financial sector. He’s nationalized the banks and the auto industry and now there is talk about the Fairness Doctrine. Perhaps an open assault for its enactment would be unwise, but the Democrats are experts with sneaky little laws again under the radar. I’m sure most of you have heard that Jacoui Smith, British Home Secretary, has banned radio personality and author Michael Savage from travel to England. His name has been put on a list with radicals who often advocate violence. Read all about it on www.michaelsavage.com He questions whether this was initiated in the U.S. and he plans to sue unless an apology is forth coming from Jacoui (pronounced Jackie). Is this the first salvo against conservative talk radio with the Unfairness Doctrine to follow which will control the licenses of radio stations that must be renewed every seven years taking from white owners and giving to minorities?

For decades we’ve heard people say the Constitution is outdated. When we see that the National Council of Churches was an original member of ISS, it helps us to understand why our Bibles are being changed too. Bible thumpers will recall that up until Acts 12, persecution against the followers of Jesus had been largely from the Jewish religious rulers, the Sadducees in particular. In chapter 12 it moved into the realm of government. We must wonder if Herod did this to gain favor with certain influential groups while he carried on a brutal, unfeeling persecution of the church. Acts 12:21 describe Herod as a pompous twit, lifted up with pride and an excellent speaker. J. Vernon McGee, a pastor with a long-time radio ministry in many languages, says in his 5-volume commentaries, Herod was the kind of politician who would have been elected no matter what - a miniature of Antichrist. Read I John 2:18 and then finish reading the rest of Acts 12.

McGee died in 1988.

The big lie is that things change. God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow and people don’t change either. We have the same honorable people we had when this country was founded. Glenn Beck had on his TV program on 5/8 two women who are whistleblowers about ACORN and then we have the bad apples who immediately began sending hate e-mails. Glenn asked us to pray for these ladies. The same traditional value system we had before the 1900s is the same today but the new words and phrases being used in our current politically correct environment are an excuse to intimidate – another Marxist tactic. Remember how the ACORN crowd and SEIU members harassed AIG members possibly causing one to commit suicide?

A Director General of UNESCO said we have to redefine words and write a new social contract. The key to collectivism is trigger words. When the illegal immigration matter surfaced, the press began to hide the word amnesty by using words or phrases like: a visa program, an expanded guest worker program, assistance to undocumented workers, earned legalization, immigration reform. “Early leaves” is the term they use in Anchorage schools now for “drop outs” and the word “failure” is also prohibited and then throw in a few “alternative this or alternative that” and we have mass confusion which is leading to anarchy and the list goes on ad nauseam.

Thousands of voices that came out of the ISS have filtered down over the years to try to change us into a New Age occult society. (Google Bohemian Grove) Satan failed when God, manifested in the man Jesus, was born to a virgin. He died on the cross and the Judas crowd thought they had won the victory but the resurrection proved them wrong and the battle continues to try to defeat Him by using the vermin as noted above. History is “His Story.” Using a phrase from President Obama: We win!! You lose!!

This whole supposed “crisis” became prominent when outgoing President George W. Bush began bailing out those who purchased homes they couldn’t afford and President Obama’s chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, said they should never pass up a “crisis.”

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said, “Let us be clear: this is a crisis caused on Wall Street..” And then it escalated to accusing Barney Frank, Chairman of the Senate Banking committee for the fiasco at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac but maybe we should return to 1993 and Roberta Achtenberg’s arrival in Washington where President Clinton offer her a job as Assistant Secretary for Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity at the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). As long as house prices continued to increase and homeowners could refinance and use the equity to pay off debts, things went well. And then the bubble burst!

Check out This website is where you can read lots more about Achtenberg’s career and lifestyle. Excerpts follow: The main thrust of the Clinton housing strategy was to increase home ownership among the poor, and particularly among blacks and Hispanics. White House aides, in familiar West Wing style, could parrot the many social advantages that would accrue: high levels of home ownership correlated with less violent crime, better school performance, a heightened sense of community. But standing in the way of the realization of this dream were the conservative lending policies of the banks, which required such inconvenient and old-fashioned things as cash deposits and regular repayments – things the poor and minorities often could not provide so Ms. Achtenberg set up a network of enforcement offices across the country, manned by attorneys and investigators and primed to spearhead an assault on the mortgage banks, bringing suits against any suspected of practicing unlawful discrimination, whether on the basis of race, gender or disability so in cahoots with Attorney General Janet Reno (who burned 17 little children and adults at the Branch Davidian in Waco, Texas) they used the law to change the behavior of banks.

And now you have the rest of the story. Couple this with the Smoking Gun and millions of illegals given amnesty, I believe we had a coup d’etat on November 4, 2008 the day American died. As I am drafting this article, the ladies from ACORN are asking for an investigation and an accounting but legislators such as Barney Frank are stonewalling.

Didn’t Barack Obama promise a clean, honest and transparent administration? Well, it looks like the Chicago mafia has moved into the White House and their tactics are now being played out at a national level which reminds me of the last few words in our national anthem which asks the question: Oh say does that Star Spangled banner yet wave…? Will democracy elect the Antichrist? God help us!
