Our enemies are watching divisions among Americans. The naked, one-sidedness of the electronic media, our greatest enemy, is demonizing and destroying our image throughout the world and Al Jazeera loves what is being handed them on a silver platter. The poisoned press pretends to guard our freedoms, while systematically working to destroy them. Our American press will show what allegedly happened to the Guantanamo detainees or who hurt whose feelings at Abu Ghraib but refused to show the beheadings of innocent victims. The liberal press seems to relish cutting our boys off at the knees and they are more prone to report our failures than our successes. President Jefferson once said he pitied those who thought they knew what was taking place through reading the newspapers and today we can add the television set. And how about that Saddam Hussein hanging? He refused to wear a hood and his hands were untied displaying a heroic gesture to his followers and it is being played over and over ad nauseam on worldwide televisions to incite violence.

Our American press frequently reports stories where undue emphasis is given to the derogatory aspects rather than to the constructive portions. We see this continually on the war in Iraq. Headlines and press releases may be edited to distort the truth and our military seem to be the objects of such propaganda. The journalist pimps seem to waste no time on the air in violating U.S. rules against revealing their exact location during war time and seem more concerned about scooping the competition then about protecting the lives of American servicemen. A basement shelter can give personal protection from nuclear fallout, but there is no escape from the overwhelming bombardment of media reporting short of tossing the TV and radio on the garbage heap and waiting for the Lord to come to rescue us from this mess like so many Christians seem to choose to do.

The biases and double standards in the mainline media are blatant. While the chosen candidates of the corrupt two-party system are given favorable pictures, plenty of ink and airtime, the unknown third-party candidates are pretty much ignored or the ugliest pictures the media can find of them are printed. The pandering pundits will devote more attention to cross-dressing transexuals, body piercing and other ridiculous copy-cat fads than the positive role of Christianity in our American life. The media will show a picture of a couple pro-abortionists with their signs at a pro-life rally while distorting the huge crowd of pro-lifers. As early as 1989, the The Boston Globe showed that 78% of Americans would ban abortions but those statistics apparently did not meet the Associated Press criteria, which so many newspapers rely upon, or the papers refused to run it.

But one of the biggest past sensational media events I can remember was the 1998 beating death of a gay Wyoming college student, Matthew Shepard, designated as a �hate� crime by the media in about 3,000 or more stories. My own Oregon senator, Gordon Smith, in 2002 used Matthew�s mother to promote his �hate� crime legislation. But to its credit, ABC�s 20-20 in 2004 indicated it wasn�t an �anti-gay hate crime� after all but that the crime actually began as a robbery attempt within a subculture of illegal drug use, to which both Shepard and his killers belonged. The new evidence did not make Shepard�s murder any less heinous and all such crimes should be prosecuted and punished but this goes to prove how the homosexual community uses ignorant elected officials and the media to promote its agenda. Perhaps some good investigative reporting would have turned up the truth much sooner but the pandering pundits dropped the ball � either unintentionally or deliberately so as to create more tension. The 18th century British conservative Edmund Burke called the press the �fourth estate� implying it could be as influential as the executive, legislative and judicial branches of government. Our Founding Fathers gave the media the First Amendment so they might act as watchdogs and expose corruption but instead they cover it up especially when it comes to the Democrats, which is how most journalists are registered.

But what never made more than a ripple in the national news two years after the Shepard story was the brutal rape and death of 13-year old Jesse Dirkhising in Prairie Grove, Ark. by two sadomasochist homosexuals. Joseph Farah reported in his 2004 WorldNetDaily details of Jesse�s death were so gruesome he deemed it inappropriate for children to read and yet this sick lifestyle continues to be promoted by public schools. Farah wrote Jesse was brutally raped, tortured and murdered for fun, for thrills� because it felt good, maybe even because a certain politically protected lifestyle has been elevated to virtual sainthood. The real hate crime is that more Jesse Dirkhisings are being victimized every day and no one seems to care. Little boys are raped and abused and murdered by psychopathic predators and somehow that is not considered hateful, Farah says. The psychiatric community once designated homosexuality as mental illness but under coercion by homosexual groups, with support by the prostitutes in the media, that classification was removed. And anyone who dares to stand up to the homosexual lifestyle in an effort to protect the children is vilified.

The 45-goals of the Communist party included gaining control of the schools, student newspapers, unions, the teachers� associations and to put the party line in textbooks and to infiltrate the press as well as to present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as �normal, natural and healthy.� Another goal was to dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals. And what is in our news nearly daily? Promotion of homosexual marriages. Of course, this could not be accomplished until the party got rid of the House Committee on Un-American Activities and replaced it with the politically correct agenda!!

The controlled media, which ever so cleverly gives us small doses of psychological conditioning on a daily basis, tells us Communism is dead but is it? Hasn�t it been replaced by the red on the inside, green on the outside environmentalists who have virtually shut down Oregon�s forests from harvesting and which has had a far-reaching impact including even turning nominal Christians back to paganism. The Northern spotted owl brought the federal timber sale program to a screeching halt in the Pacific Northwest. Counties watched their federal funds slow to a trickle. Oregon schools and roads are about to take a $280 million hit writes Mickey Bellman, a forestry consultant with 37 years experience in a 12-30-2006 Statesman Journal guest opinion.

It was reported in the 3-4-1989 Human Events newspaper about a former reporter for the Wall Street Journal and the L.A. Times admitting he was a �closet socialist� who promoted Marxist causes in news stories and wrote for communist publications�under a pen name. Even �useful idiot� journalists, for example, are needed to carry the message for the behind-the scenes schemers, among whom are some of the most powerful people on earth. When the Lord walked this earth, they had the Scribes, Pharisees and Sadducees. All are still alive today but the Scribes run the newspapers.

While the politicians make all sorts of promises, they fail to tell the public the good ship Lollipop is on a disastrous financial collision course and forthcoming economic disaster. The Iraqi war costs, the promised health care and the social security debt is devastating and yet our elected officials keep adding more entitlements. With only a few exceptions, our representatives and other leaders are no longer Democrats or Republicans, they are welfare state promoters with the only concern of being re-elected. Power does corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Many homeowners are living on borrowed time. They are taking the equity in their homes to pay off credit cards and other loans and adjustable mortgages allow homeowners to pay less for a while but the debt is growing and many are only one paycheck away from bankruptcy. The elderly who should have their homes paid for if they managed their money properly and didn�t have some catastrophic event in their lives are encouraged to take out reverse mortgages, which allows them to borrow the equity from their homes to travel, enjoy life because they deserve it and keep up with the Joneses. Some have put bumper stickers on their luxurious motor homes that say, �We are spending our children�s inheritance.� If they only knew!!

In a letter discussing their new banking scheme with fellow conspirators, Rothschild Brothers of London stated on June 25, 1863, long before the takeover of the U.S. banking system in 1913 with the unconstitutional Federal Reserve Act, �the few who understand the system, will either be so interested in its profits, or so dependent on its favors that there will be no opposition from that class. The great body of people, mentally incapable of comprehending the tremendous advantages will bear its burden without complaint.�

So now you know why so many Americans are being sucked dry and are losing their homes, farms and businesses each day. The Wall Street �experts� and controlled media tell us it is just a temporary economic downturn while they try to put a positive spin on a dismal future. After the 9-11 attack President Bush went on record to tell Americans to return to normal while the rascal himself was proposing tyrannical legislation and presidential directives to further enslave us. The most recent is the Military Commissions Act. Pastor Chuck Baldwin asks, "A Precursor to Tyranny?."

The Civil Servants� Year Book, �The Organizer� January 1934 said, �Capital must protect itself in every way� Debts must be collected and loans and mortgages foreclosed as soon as possible. When through a process of law the common people have lost their homes, they will be more tractable and more easily governed by the strong arm of the law (Homeland Security cops) applied by the central power of leading financiers. People without homes will not quarrel with their leaders. This is well known among our principal men now engaged in forming an imperialism of capitalism to govern the world. By dividing the people we can get them to expend their energies infighting over questions of no importance to us except teachers of the common herd.� And that, dear readers, is no jabberwocky. The one world crowd has reduced us to cattle! And yet when some informed grunge tries to bring these facts to some conservative talk show popinjay, it is pronounced �conspiracy� and they hang up on the caller. There is none so blind as those with eyes who cannot see and ears and cannot hear. Thanks to Bill O�Reilly on Fox, who refuses to believe in a conspiracy, I�m learning a whole new vocabulary.

Nearly all the hand-picked lickspittles on the Potomac in prominent elected positions, owners or employees of newspapers or in regulatory communist agencies are members of the Council on Foreign Relations or Rockefeller�s Trilateral Commission with the one-world government mentality. David Rockefeller at a 1991 Bilderberg meeting in Germany said, �We are grateful to the Washington Post, The New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subject to the bright lights of publicity during these years. But the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march toward a world government.�
