[Note: There are a lot of TV promotions today for "love songs" CDs (e.g., of the 1950s, 60s, 70s, etc.) But they should more properly be called "desire songs," because there is a big difference between desire and love. Too often when a boy tells a girl that he "loves" her, he really means he "desires" her, and this is why many marriages do not last. The couple goes into it for the wrong reasons. When the boy's "desire" for the girl lessens, he thinks that he no longer "loves" her and wants to dissolve the union. What they fail to understand is that "desire" is about one's self. The boy or girl "desires" the other because of something attractive to one's self (e.g., their looks, intelligence, money, etc.). However, "love" is outwardly focused, so the individual boy or girl thinks of what he or she can do for the other (e.g., he thinks of how he can make her happy, how he can help her, etc.). "Love" is often sacrificial. For example, parents may want a new car, but their children need new clothes, so the parents (who "love" their children) sacrifice the car and buy the clothes. Jesus' life is a perfect example of "love," as He came to serve others and not to be served. He also fulfilled his own lesson to us that no greater love hath any man than to lay down his life for another, as He laid down His life for our salvation.]

With President Obama's re-election, over the next 4 years he will face a national and global economy that will be collapsing. That takes care of what will happen in our future. But, you may ask, what will happen next under President Obama? Concerning foreign affairs, in the near future, watch for an important secretly launched military action with specially trained American personnel, who will have a lot of help (including from Israel). It will occur somewhere in the general region from South Asia (Pakistan and Afghanistan) to Iran and the Middle or Near East (including Yemen) over to North Africa (Libya). It may involve the revolution in Syria where the Assad government is backed by the Shiites in Iran and Shiite leaders in Iraq. They are opposed by the Sunnis in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey And if Syria attacks Turkey, a member of NATO, that could bring direct military action by the U.S., also a member of NATO. The Obama administration will call the operation successful, but it will result in some (manageable) international criticism. Obama's Muslim background will help temper/ease the criticism.

A report has just been issued blaming the U.S. State Department for the lack of security in Benghazi, Libya resulting in the death of 4 Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens. What isn't being reported, though, is that the Libyan government the U.S. helped to install is subordinate to Al Qaeda there, and a tremendous amount of former dictator Gaddafi's weapons were seized by Al Qaeda and sent through Egypt to their allies in Syria to fight the Assad regime there. Some of the weapons, especially anti-tank weapons, were sent through Egypt to Hamas in Gaza to use against a ground invasion by Israeli tanks. This resulted in Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu agreeing to a deal with Hamas brokered by Egyptian leader Mohammed Morsi of the Muslim Brotherhood. This was all the result of a long range plan by the Power Elite (PE).

In the domestic area, President Obama will proceed with his movement toward what Rob Long in TIME (November 12) called "full-on European-style socialism." And President Obama will emphasize his plan for socialized medicine known as Obamacare. This is an example of how far ahead the PE plans. Just like presidents such as Clinton, Bush and Obama were groomed far in advance, the PE had to plan far in advance for Obamacare. Because population control/reduction is an important element of the PE's plans, Obamacare's health care rationing (aka death) panels will determine who gets what services and who does not. With budget reductions, certain people (especially the elderly) will not receive certain services that would have prolonged their lives, and they will die. For those with a Christian, Jewish or Muslim view of death, this will be difficult to accept. However, have you noticed an increasing number of doctors here from India over the past couple of decades? Many of them are Hindu, and therefore believe in reincarnation. Thus, for them, the deaths of the elderly under Obamacare will not be viewed with the finality that it is among non-Hindus. Like other physicians, they will dutifully tend to their patients here. However, the early deaths caused by Obamacare will not be viewed by them as traumatic, but rather perhaps simply the result of their patients' karma, and thus easier to accept.

Regarding the recent mass school shootings in Newtown, CT, gun control advocates are again pushing their agendas. What they don't consider, though, is the fact that if the students' teacher had a gun, she could probably have saved most if not all of those students' lives. Remember, also, that when the Antichrist (or Big Brother) comes, it will be important to his success that average citizens have no guns with which to resist his enforcers. The fact is that in countries like Great Britain and Australia, after guns were banned, gun crimes rose dramatically because criminals can always obtain guns illegally.

The real issue involved in the Newtown shootings is one of values. If Adam Lanza had lived his life based upon Biblical values, he never would have committed those murders. However, in the early 1960s, Bible-reading and school prayer were banned from public schools. Therefore, when these schools continued to teach values, the final moral authority for deciding what was right and wrong was not God, but rather the autonomous moral-decisionmaking individual students, trained via values clarification techniques to adopt the religion of Godless "secular humanism" using situation ethics, just as the serpent (Satan) used with Eve in the Garden of Eden.

The individual student became her/his own god, and by the late 1960s, we heard about the "Me" generation with slogans like "What's in it for me" and "Look out for Number One." By the early 1970s, this had developed into a philosophy characterized by the saying, "Don't impose your morality upon me," as represented in the Supreme Court's 1973 Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortion. Regarding this, since a woman is pregnant not with a chipmunk, but rather a live human child, abortion is the violent killing of this innocent child, and the child's father has no say in the matter. Is it any wonder, then, that an Adam Lanza, who thought of himself as his own god (final moral authority regarding what was right or wrong for himself based upon the situation), upon whom no one could impose any particular morality, felt that if he wanted to violently kill some children, he could do that and the children's fathers had no say? Do you see the logical consequences that have inexorably followed from America as a society abandoning the teaching of Biblical morality beginning in the early 1960s?

Change is becoming an increasing part of American society. Business promotes changing styles to sell products. Social engineers are trying to change our values. There actually seems to be a "cult of change" today, as many individuals are always seeking something new and different.
