It is the oldest trick in the book, divide and conquer, and unfortunately, we are falling for it once again.
It breaks my heart to see what has become of this nation.
“One nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
"NO KING BUT KING JESUS" Either your God will be your King or your king will be your god.
On April 18, 1775 John Adams and John Hancock were at the home of Rev. Jonas Clarke, a Lexington pastor and militia leader. That same night Paul Revere arrived to warn them of the approaching Redcoats. The next morning British Major Pitcairn shouted to an assembled regiment of Minutemen; "Disperse, ye villains, lay down your arms in the name of George the Sovereign King of England." The immediate response of Rev. Jonas Clarke or one of his company was:
"We recognize no Sovereign but God and no King but Jesus."

I have had the opportunity to be part of the battle over public-service employees at several different venues around the nation. I always make it my goal not to get involved in the shouting and name calling that takes place, but rather, to find an opportunity to engage in a conversation with those who are on the “other side” of the debate. Invariably, with few exceptions, I find those marching “under the union label” are really no different than me.
Those representing “working families” (what ever that means...do the union members really think that only those in the union are “working families”) have been sold a bill of goods. They have fallen into the trap set by the revolutionaries. ..those intent on the destruction of liberty.
Us against them, you against me, rich against poor, young against old, black against white, Democrat verses Republican, conservative against liberal, right wing verses the left wing, tea-party against government employees, welfare moms against the tax-payers...divide and conquer.
Meanwhile, those who are orchestrating the destruction of this nation are pulling the strings of the marionettes who dance across the political spectrum in the name of “fairness”. Union bosses, political hacks, radio pundits, and educational institutions stir the flames of political dissent in an attempt to further divide neighbor from neighbor. Class warfare is the new weapon of mass destruction.
They are putting us in a box, forcing us to takes sides, thereby dissipating the idea of “E pluribus unum”...a common nation that shares common values.

Last Saturday I was on the streets of Boise, Idaho in response to the communist rallies orchestrated by Moveon.org at State Capitols all across this nation. I had the opportunity to engage a card-carrying member of the postal workers union who was carrying a sign that read “Would Jesus support corporate greed?”
Using the admonition from Proverbs that “a soft answer turns away wrath”, I ignored his ad-hominem attacks directed at me and “the Republican-Christians” who were in support of “busting the unions” and swam through his verbal sewage in an attempt to pull him into the “mainstream”.
It didn’t take long to find out that, in fact, he and I agreed on almost every issue we discussed. He was pro-life, pro-traditional marriage, sick of what the schools were teaching his kids, and anti border-jumping citizenship. He was a “church-goer”, but not very “religious”.
Yet there we were, on the steps of Idaho’s Capitol building, both wanting what was best for our families, but tethered to a battle that someone else had chosen for us.
We weren’t really enemies, it was just that someone had told us that we were. Our inability to see that we were both being manipulated by another man’s game plan rendered us incapable of fighting together against our real mutual enemy.
America is in decline while we fight over who is to blame, fighting hard to hang onto what little we can actually call ours.

Where is Toto when we need him? Why are we so blind to “the man behind the curtain” who is causing the divisions that are making us so dependant and powerless? We are engaging in politically-motivated cannibalism.
“We the people,” like “made in America,” is becoming a thing of the past.
I often get the opportunity to speak at Tea Party gatherings and, if we were to be honest, we would have to admit that the Tea Party is nothing more than an amalgamism of “conservative” special interests. Some of the attendees are fighting for gun rights, others are against health care, some have excessive taxation as their pet peeve, and some are worried about their retirement.
Even the Tea Party is divided because those involved are interested in seeing that their hot-button issue receives the greatest attention. Ultimately, this divided house, will not stand.
So let’s step back from the boxing ring a second, lay down our gloves, and take a look at a solution that will give a true sense of unity to our battle. A victory in which we can all rejoice. A victory not of right over left, but right triumphing over wrong.
Where there is unity, God will command the blessing. It is time to focus on the only thing that can unite us, the only thing that can save this land.
We must, together, demand that the Christian values that made this country great be once again taught to our children.
Not a demand that everyone become a Christian, but a reaffirmation that our liberties are a result of our national sovereignty under the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob. An acknowledgment that the moral code given at Mt. Sinai once again be established as the bulwark of freedom, established on the idea of self-government through personal responsibility. Say loud and often. “No King but King Jesus.”
What if we once again reaffirmed the moral code of American Independence built upon the ideals of Christianity? What if we taught to our children, and demanded of our leaders, an adherence to a common moral code upon which “justice for all “could really be re-erected...dont’t lie, don’t steal, don’t covet...what if those values once again became the rock upon which we re-built?

What if we truly began to once again live out the Christian anthem to “love your neighbor as your self?”
The Satanic-trinity of multi-culturalism, tolerance, and diversity has led to the balkanization of the American Republic. By focusing our attention on our differences the enemies of the Cross have succeeded in directing our bomb-throwing at each other, rather than the puppet masters that choreograph the King’s dance. The battle for America is, ultimately, a battle for Truth. It is the playing out on a grand scale the battle of the ages...the seed of the serpent and the Seed of the Woman.
“And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
It is a war that the the Lord has called us to. God is not a Republican...in fact, He isn’t even an American. He is King, the Alpha and Omega, The Way, The Truth, The Life. Only a reaffirmation of this Truth can rescue America.
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place. For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.”
Statistics show that 85% of all Americans self-identify as Christians...nearly 225 million of us. That is the good news. The bad news is that there are over 38,000 different denominations of Christianity. By the way, a denominator is the number by which something is divided.
Republican Christians and Democratic Christians, liberal Christians and conservative Christians, fundamental Christians and red-letter Christians, Tea-party Christians and Unionized Christians...black Christians and white Christians.
