I know what you are thinking. Coach Dave is finally coming out of the closet as a "Birther." He has joined that '"fringe element" in America that doesn't think that Barack Obama is an United States citizen.
Well, to be perfectly honest, I have been part of that group for quite awhile. I question where the president was born. What is wrong with that? “Trust but verify” a wise man once proclaimed. I think Obama would be wise to come clean on a lot of things.
He is a "shady" character. That is what my mother would have called him 30 years ago when folks were permitted to make judgment calls about people without being called names. Today there are groups of people that you are not able to criticize, at least not unless you are willing to face an onslaught of accusations designed to destroy your character.
Most folks don't want to have to go through it, so they just learn to keep their opinions to themselves. As a result, this call for "civility" has created a culture where the "shady" ones are able to get away with treason.
Bill Clinton is shady. So are Hillary, Newt, James Carville, Paul Begala, and Rudy. Every time I hear them talk I wonder if they have their fingers crossed behind their back. (I am sure you could add a few names to the list.)
You know what I am talking about. You know "shady" when you see it. Barack Obama, and his wife, are shady. In fact, there is a dark cloud hanging all over this regime.
Donald Trump (shady) has finally legitimized Birthers. I guess the pile of money he has accumulated makes him a little harder to write off as crazy. Watching Whoopie (shady) argue with him on “The View” the other day was laughable. She looked like a fool and didn't even realize it. Her attempt to play the race card race couldn't trump Trumps credibility. He makes millions, Whoopie makes movies. How does one know when she is serious and when she is playing a role? That's what makes so many lefties shady. They play roles. It’s called political correctness.
They couldn’t actually believe some of the stupid things they say.
But Trump also caught the attention of Shawn Hannity, O'Reilly, and Rush. Suddenly, they too are beginning to ask questions about the "birth certificate" as if no one had every brought it up before. Money talks, or more appropriately, people who have money do, and none of the conservative talkers wanted to ruin their cred by poking fun at The Donald.
Suddenly Sean wanted to see the birth certificate as well. And "The Leprechaun" was no longer laughing as hard. (Even though he had said that he "had seen" the birth certificate on one of his previous shows.) Remember, he is "looking out for you," but somewhere along the line this Harvard-educated journalist wasn't smart enough to figure out that a "Certificate of Live Birth" (COLB) was no different than a title to a car that you could get at your local BMV. Obama had a COLB, but he had never produced a real birth certificate. (Good to know Bill is looking out for you, isn't it?)
So, it is going to be interesting to see how this thing plays out. If Trump keeps it up Obama is going to have to come clean. The implications of that could be devastating. It will make O’Reilly and his buddy’s look like the doormats that he hocks on “The Factor.”
Funny isn't it? Think how long and loudly they all laughed at the "Birthers." Now, they change their tune when a guy with a pocket-full of money appears to be going "all in." Perhaps Obama may have to be looking for his own "bailout" if he can't produce the required documentation.
But after the events of this week, I have come to the realization that it doesn't really matter where the guy was born. Now, more than ever, this nation needs a President who is an American. Even if Obama does produce a legitimate Hawaiian birth certificate he will never be an American. Let me coin a new bumper sticker for the 2012 election.
Obama: U. S. citizen by birth, citizen of the world by choice.
I am sick of President Obama and what he and Reid (shady) and Pelosi (double shady) have done to this country. He may be able to prove he was born here, but he will never convince me that he is one of us. Barack Obama is not an American; he is a citizen of the world.
I want an American in The Whitehouse.
By his own admission he spent his formative years in Indonesia, instructed in Islamic schools. He spent 20 years under anti-American Christian Jeremiah Wright. He was a child of privilege attending the finest schools in America.
Let's put our partisan bickering aside. Let's stop worrying about Republican and Democrat, liberal and conservative. I don't care if he is black or white, rich or poor, young or old, red or blue.
I just want an American to be our President. He may be a citizen of the United States, but Barack Obama is not an American.
Is it just me or does it seem as if President Obama is more interested in doing what he thinks is right for "the world" than he is in doing what is right for America? He is a star on the world stage, yet the invisible man in regards to things that matter most to Mom and Pop America.
He takes us to war in Libya with the approval of the United Nations, but doesn't even cancel his vacation to get the approval of the United States Congress. In six days he has spent 600 million of Americans hard earn dollars on "liberating" the Libyans, while he shackles those who elected him to financial servitude
Pardon my brashness, but isn’t it time that America took care of America? Isn’t it time we put the needs of Americans first? Am I the only one who couldn’t give a hoot in hell about what goes on in Libya? Am I the only one in America tired of having America’s Christian boys die for the children of Islam?
I couldn’t give a flying leap about what the UN says…or their freakin’ “resolutions,” their “no fly zones” or their “humanitarian relief.” I am sick and tired of watching our American leaders kowtow to the whims and wishes of the “international” community. How about my community? How about the American community? I am sick of playing policeman to the world.
My allegiance isn’t to the “world”, or to the environment, or to the government. I cling to my God and my guns, my wife and my kids, my family and my friends. I love America, apple pie, and Chevrolet.
I want an American President.
Let’s close our borders, bring our troops home, bring American industry back to this continent, and leave the sons of Ishmael alone to fight in their own sandbox. Let’s drill our own oil, get rid of the EPA, Cap and Trade, and run the American haters out of office.

I once heard a buddy of mine say that being born in a garage does not make you a car. Well, being born in this country does not make one an American.
Mr. Obama, I have known a lot of Americans in my lifetime. Americans are friends of mine. President Obama, you are no America.
Let him be president of Indonesia. Let him be Secretary General of the UN. Let him anchor the NBC Nightly News. But get his butt out of the White House.
Impeach Obama. I want an American leading this nation.
