It somehow seems ironic that Mayflower is in distress. Once again disaster has struck the heartland of America. One of the targets was Mayflower, Arkansas.

Mayflower is different from most disasters. It has a population of 1600 and the nearest “large” town is Conway, which is 10 miles up the road. Nearly the entire town was blown off of the map. It is small town America with small town resources.

Once again we are on our way to help. Can you help us help them?

We have a track record of effectiveness. Over the past decade we have transported food and supplies to help the victims of Katrina, Rita, Joplin, Moore and various disasters all across this nation. We are effective in what we do. Many of you have helped us in the past and you know the integrity with which we operate. Our volunteers load the food in Ohio and unload the food in Arkansas.

We partner with local churches in Arkansas to get the supplies to the areas in greatest need.

We pay no salaries. We have no big-shot CEO’s who oversee our operations. This is done man to man and church to church. It is the way Christians should operate.

Our friend Pastor Art Wilhite, aka “THE BREADMAN” has been co-coordinating disaster relief for over 25 years. He has a working relationship with two major suppliers here in Columbus, Ohio. They trust him and his integrity.

Right now, The Breadman is in meetings securing the food and making arrangements to find drivers for the trucks. The food is FREE…the FUEL is not.

We simply need fuel for the Trucks to bless the folks of Mayflower.

Columbus, Ohio is about 800 miles from Mayflower, Arkansas but we are making plans to transport over $50,000 in fresh bread products, water, and other supplies to the devastated area by this weekend. All we need is finances for the fuel.

Look at the price of diesel fuel at your local gas station. Do the math. We need your help.

Please, if you haven’t already, don’t send your money to the Red Cross…or FEMA…please work through us. We make the greatest use of your hard-earned money with the lowest overhead.
