For many years, Dr. Edwin Vieira has worked with patriots in the State of New Hampshire to get what is called an 'honest money bill' through their General Court. Unfortunately, due to politics instead of reason and sanity, no version of the bill has passed. Here is a brief history of the drafting and the language. Additionally, please take the time over the weekend to read this important piece by James Turk.

Indiana Picks Up Where New Hampshire Left Off !
"Indianapolis, Indiana -- State Senator Greg Walker of District 41, (R-Columbus), has officially filed a Bill that would allow Indiana to offer its citizens a choice of Gold (and Silver) coin or the Electronic equivalent in payable and receivable transactions with the state. This bold bill will finally bring Indiana back into conformance with the Constitution for the United States of America which states "No state shall...make any thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts..." Article 1, Section 10.
"Indiana is picking up where New Hampshire left off in their attempt to get essentially the same Bill passed back in 2003 and 2005. The Bill was written by eminently qualified Constitutional Money Scholar and practicing Constitutional Lawyer, Dr. Edwin Vieira of Virginia. Jerry Titus of Kokomo, a Senior Field Service Engineer, worked to take New Hampshire's Constitutionally compliant wording of Dr. Vieira's Bill, and adapted it for Indiana's unique purposes.
"This exciting juncture is only the beginning of S.B. 453 as it needs to be approved by the Tax and Fiscal Committee for House consideration, etc., and will probably be subject to debate and possible amendments. There will be about 700 Bills under consideration in the current Legislature and only about 200 will survive to be voted on.

If you live in the State of Indiana or know someone who does, get on the phone to your state rep and senator and tell them politely to get this legislation passed. Look at California. Bankrupt under the stewardship of a buffoon who was never qualified (except as a no-talent movie star) to be governor of that huge state. California is going to hand out IOUs for tax refunds and to pay their bills? What is behind those IOUs? More worthless paper?
The Governator has refused to get tough (something he apparently could only do pumping steroids for his bad boy roles in movies) and round up close to 8 million illegal aliens in his state bankrupting hospitals, school districts, welfare roles, filling the jails and using a zillion gallons of water each year while they're in the state illegally. California is again suffering a terrible water shortage greatly affecting the agriculture corridor. Same old, same old, yet the citizens of California, with the exception of those who are trying to fight that mess out there, continue to vote back the same state legislature who continue to waste billions of dollars on illegals and other wasteful spending while the state goes bankrupt.
There should be a bill in all 50 states right now because we know the worst is yet to come on this economic melt down. Then we have the useful idiots out there pumping toxic messages like this one:

People like Dr. Edwin Vieira and Congressman Ron Paul have been talking about our debauched currency, the unconstitutional Federal Reserve Banking System and the solutions for more than 30 years. Now, as our government teeters on the cliff of absolute bankruptcy, in comes the tools of tyrants to plant the seeds of the world banking cartel to finally kill off our sovereignty and get sucked into one world government.
There are a lot of great men and women who are in the state legislatures. They want to get constitutional legislation introduced and will fight for passage. BUT, they have to have the vocal support of the citizens of their states. Remember: He who yells the loudest gets the most attention.
This is what happens when Americans exercise "self-governance." They tell government what they want and work with representatives and senators in bringing forth a concise legal argument backed up by historical documents and law. The same is being done in the State of Georgia regarding social security numbers. That insidious number is for SSA (Social Security Administration) to identify an individual for their account and the taxes that person has paid over the years.
I have written about this before: the abuse of the SSN (social security number) has destroyed the lives of millions of Americans via identity theft and the states using it for law enforcement and even mandatory for health care. The blame is 100% at the door step of Congress - both parties - who have refused to tell the American people the truth about that system and stopping the use of the SSN for anything other than SSAs accounting methods.
I covered the email below on my radio show two nights ago. This goes directly to heart of the social security taxing scheme. No one is required by law to obtain an SSN to live or work in these united States of America. You must fill out a form and send it in for processing to volunteer into that federal taxing scheme. HOWEVER, the states force you to obtain a number or you can't drive a car (privilege). It's nothing but a form of black mail.

Even if you choose not to obtain an SSN, the IRS (courtesy of the craven parasites in Congress) will steal the fruits of your labor from your paycheck to fund the social security taxing scheme. In other words, participation in SS is voluntary, so you choose not to participate as is your right. But, Congress allows the IRS to steal your money via a federal tax to fund someone else's retirement. A Ponzi scheme. All done with a gun to your head. The classic example of indentured servitude.
Email dated January 27, 2009:
"My older two children just tried to get their learner's permits; the Department of Driver Services (DDS) refused to issue without a SSN. Due to this incident State Rep. Bobby Franklin sent a letter to the state Attorney General asking whether state law indeed requires an SSN in order to obtain a driver's or hunting license even though the applicant has no other statutory requirement to obtain an SSN. The AG's response was in the affirmative; thus Rep. Franklin has authored a bill that would chip away at the state's implementation of the collection of SSN mandated in 42 USC 666. In the opinion of Rep. Franklin the state's law was overreaching in its affect and has crafted a bill to protect the right to travel for citizens who do not have SSNs.
"Rep. Franklin's bill, dubbed Rebekah's Bill after my daughter, will be up for a hearing tomorrow. The Jacobs Subcommittee of the House Judiciary (Civil) will meet on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. in Room 132 in the State Capitol to take public comments on HB 81.
"If you can help get the word out then I would greatly appreciate it. Anyone who does not have a SSN and either will be renewing their license soon or applying soon and would like to testify is encouraged to come and give a 2-minute statement to the committee."

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Code Section 19-11-9.1 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to the duty to furnish information about child support obligors to the Department of Human Resources, so as to prohibit requiring a person who has never had a social security number to obtain one; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

* In Shapiro v Thompson, 394 U.S. 618 (1969), Justice Stewart
noted in a concurring opinion that "it is a right broadly assertable

right of association, ... it is a virtually unconditional personal right,

* The subject matter of USC 42 666 is the requirement of statutorily
prescribed procedures to improve effectiveness of child support enforcement.
* HB 81 does not hinder or deter the state or federal government from
effective child support enforcement.
* HB 81 addresses those individuals not specifically mentioned in state
law regarding the child support enforcement reporting requirements.
* HB 81 protects the ability of those Georgia citizens who do not have
a SSN to enjoy the freedom to travel, hunt and fish in the state of
Georgia.
That first hearing was yesterday. However, if you live in the State of Georgia or know someone who does, contact the committee members and tell them to get this bill passed; click here for the list. Please use tell them either by phone, fax (forget email) or snail mail what I have written above as well as the talking points provided. Our rights have been stomped into the ground by these state legislatures for decades over child support collection.
Of course, I want to see the biological father (or mother) do what is morally right when it comes to financial assistance for children. However, you don't force everyone with a gun to their head to give up their rights just to make it easier for some state function. Also, remember: Only certain individuals are legally eligible to "sign up" for that Ponzi scheme; see 42 U.S.C. Section 405(c)(2)(B).
Get the facts. Get your organization or group together and fight back in your state. Talk to friends and family and get them educated about their rights. If they aren't interested, you can't force them to wake up. Go to the Committees of Safety's web site and see if there is a person in your area. You can also participate in their weekly (Wed night) conference call and find out what is going on and who to contact to help you.
It doesn't matter if you're a Republican or Democrat. These issues are not political, they are American issues that affect every man, woman and child in this republic. Find out who is in charge of the GOP or DNC in your county. Go to their committee meetings and bring up these issues. Ask them: do you want to be free or continue down the same path of allowing state governments as well as the federal behemoth continue to destroy our rights? If you don't become pro-active, those two well oiled political machines will continue to crush all of us. All politics are local and it's the grassroots efforts that are making the difference.

"The New Hampshire House is considering a bill (NH HB 35) that would end the New Hampshire voters' right to vote for the Vice President in the State Primary. This would crush the only voice the only voters in the United States have in nominating the President of the U.S. Senate, which is an important office in its own right, and is just another step towards further Executive dictatorship. It would also be a further violation of the Separation of Powers beyond what is already practiced at the Republican and Democrat National Conventions."

Yesterday afternoon, 244 corrupt members of the House of Reperesentatives voted for this latest travesty being called an economic stimulus package. There is no money in the people's treasury. These buzzards in Congress - both parties - have run up a national debt of almost $11 TRILLION dollars. Now, they're going to write more hot checks to pay for this "stimulus" pork.
$819 BILLION DOLLARS. More debt. What happened to the "stimulus" from the big give away this time last year? The checks went out around Feb, March time period. It stimulated nothing. A poll three days ago on CNN asked what will you do with a $500 stimulus check? 53% said they would pay down debt. That means pay down credit cards which puts nothing into the economy. 34% said they would put it in their savings account. That stimulates nothing. After this putrid vote, air head, Rep. Judy Biggert, got up to make a speech about how wonderful some marching band performed last week!
On Aug. 10, 2005, at a well-crafted photo op, Bush signed the $286.5 billion transportation bill at a Caterpillar facility in Montgomery, Ill., promising jobs – the big carrot. On January 26, 2009, Caterpillar announced they are laying of 20,000 workers. As a matter of fact, in one hour that morning, 72,5000 lay offs were announced by just a few companies. This so-called stimulus package is more lunacy. During the discussion on the house floor, January 28, 2009, Rep. Westmoreland said this "stimulus" bill will put the cost of creating one job at $225,000 and that job will pay about $50,000.00! Cuckoo, cuckoo! Here's more of how government stimulates:
