COURAGEOUS OR FOOLHARDY?

The People have tried
In vain, for decades, to obtain the answers to legitimate, legal questions involving the federal income tax, its misapplication and the all out fraud that's been foisted upon all Americans. The People have asked for answers on the withholding by employers issue, only to be met with more arrogance and silence. You would think these are questions the IRS could answer in a NY second. Wrong.
We the People have been met with lies, deception and brute force. All federal judges are subject to constant investigation by the IRS, destroying any hope of real justice in the courts. There isn't one federal judge on the bench today with the integrity or courage to stand up to the IRS or Congress. They are simply cowards, protecting the hand that feeds them.
Tens of thousands of Americans who have dared stand up for their rights, challenging the deceit played upon them by Washington, DC, have ended up in prison for breaking no law. While this gross miscarriage of injustice has been carried out by this criminal syndicate called the IRS, the United States Congress, like the morally corrupt yellow-bellies they are, have simply turned a deaf ear.
The People wonder why? The answer is simple: Since none of the money extorted by the IRS funds the legitimate functions of a limited form of Republican government, but rather enriches the coffers of the international banking cartel, there's never enough constitutional revenues. So, Congress simply turns to the unconstitutional central bank [FED] to continue borrowing. The end result is drowning this nation in unpayable debt - massive debt your children and grandchildren will never be able to pay down, much less "pay off."
Then along came Bob Schulz
And the game changed. For almost four years, Bob and his dedicated group, (www.givemeliberty.org) have very respectfully petitioned the government with remonstrance's. They have done petitions. They have held seminars and demonstrations under the First Amendment. They have spent almost $400,000 in full pages ads in USA Today and The Washington Times trying to inform the American people that our servant government simply thumbs their noses at our grievances and steadfastly refuses to respond to legitimate legal questions.
On September 29, 1993, almost 4,400 people joined me at the nation's capitol in Washington, DC where we delivered just shy of two million petition signatures to Congress to abolish the FED and the IRS. Congress simply thumbed their nose at us and carried on the work of the global masters, running this nation into trillions of dollars in phantom debt.
As so eloquently put by Patrick Henry those 228 years ago, today We the People have received the same treatment from our servant government as the colonials did from King George. We continue to be ignored as if we don't exist - except to fund the banking cartel. We have truly become indentured servants. Echoes of 1775.
By July 2001, Bob Schulz decided he would have to make a more profound statement in Washington, DC, right on the door step of Congress and the IRS: a total fast. This man was willing to die for his beliefs.
I've known Bob Schulz for almost four years and been honored to participate in some of his events in Washington, DC. As it happened, we both attended an event that occurred around the 11th day of his fast of only water. When we met at dinner, Bob looked a bit weak, but still had that twinkle in his eye. I wanted to simply drop to my knees, weep and cry out:
"Dear God! Please, please, don't let this good man die! Help us, Father. We are trying, but the evil on this earth is so great."
I knew Bob was suffering terribly, but he stayed in the dining room while everyone ate scrumptious food. He flew back to Washington the next day. I knew that Bob Schulz would have stood his ground with the fast until his last dying breath left his body. I felt very humbled and small.
On the twentieth day of his fast, Congressman Roscoe Bartlett brokered a deal between DOJ and the IRS to attend congressional style hearings, where for the first time in over 200 years, The People would ask the questions and our servant government would be forced to answer. Bob ended his fast based on this agreement. DOJ and IRS lied and reneged on the deal. To this day they refuse to answer any questions, never mind hold the promised hearings. This type of response by a servant government only fans the flames of discontent.
On January 7, 2003, Bob's organization began the first ever WTP-TV, a historic event. Advanced technology and some very dedicated people were making it possible to bring the truth to millions via the Net with TV-like broadcast ability. After 3 minutes and 40 seconds, Time Warner pulled the plug and major censorship was pushed in the face of The People. An ominous sign of things to come.
Why such a drastic move?
During the broadcast, Bob Schulz laid out the next phase of operations for his We the People Congress, which include encouraging The People to follow through on the one non-violent action sanctioned by the First Amendment and historical documents meant to bring servant government to heel: Don't pay anymore taxes until the government responds to the people.
This immediately alarmed me because I know this criminal syndicate out in Washington, DC will stop at nothing to protect their money base and keep The People enslaved. This is no kids game and Bob Schulz had just raised a big, red flag: No taxes before the government answers The People.
There was nothing romantic about the Revolutionary War. Thousands died for our freedom. Right here, right now in America's history, the stakes are high and this is very serious business We the People are undertaking. Right here, right now, We The People of these united States of America are fighting for our very freedoms.
WTP Congress has nothing to do with any un-taxing, de-taxing or other popular "get the IRS out of your life" programs. This is an entirely different legal arena: Exercising The People's God-given right under the First Amendment to demand an answer to a redress of grievances or no money. Quoting Bob Schulz:
"In America, the right to petition our government for a redress of grievances is the basis of our liberty. Our founders explicitly recognized this right in the first amendment to our constitution -- for they understood that without it, we could not have a servant government whose power is defined and limited by the consent of the people.
"The founding fathers, in an act of the Continental Congress in 1774, said, and I quote:
"If money is wanted by Rulers who have in any manner oppressed the People, [the People] may retain [their money] until their grievances are redressed, and thus peaceably procure relief, without trusting to despised petitions or disturbing the public tranquility."
"This very American Right of Redress of Grievances Before Taxes is deeply embedded in our law.
"The founding fathers could hardly have used words more clear when they declared, "the people… may retain [their money] until their grievances are [remedied]."
"By these words, the founding fathers fully recognized and clearly stated: that the Right of Redress of Grievances includes the right of Redress Before payment of Taxes, that this Right of Redress Before Taxes lies in the hands of the People, that this Right is the People's non-violent, peaceful means to procuring a remedy to their grievances without having to depend on – or place their trust in -- the government's willingness to respond to the People's petitions and without having to resort to violence."
Courageous or foolhardy
There has been a great deal of braying by many in the tax movement regarding this First Amendment exercise of our God given rights. Many are saying it's foolhardy. Interesting. In the past 12 years I have listened to a lot of ballyhooing, "enough is enough!" and a "line drawn in the sand." Quite frankly, all these blowhards have done is back their lines up clear to China.
During a recent conversation with Bob Schulz, we spoke very candidly about the future. Bob Schulz said, "Devvy, I have never been afraid of anything in my life. I refuse to live my life afraid of this government. I know the road ahead."
There are multitudes of Americans who practice what I call cosmetic patriotism. They huff and they puff, but when it comes time to live the words spoken by Patrick Henry: "Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!"- the room suddenly empties out. Let someone else step up to the plate.
Bob Schulz, once again, is putting his life, liberty and financial assets on the line to stand firm and strong for the principles that made this country so great. The old way of doing things is over. There has to come a time when The People become serious enough to raise the stakes, as scary a thought as that might be for most.
Patrick Henry knew it back in 1775 and Bob Schulz knows it in 2003. Such courage is extremely rare. Bob has no title. People follow him because of his courage. There are those who lead and while some may call their actions foolhardy, men of courage know no other way.
Freedom is for the bravehearts. Stay the Course.
