BUSH'S BUDGET MEANS NOTHING

"To preserve [the] independence [of the people,] we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt. We must make our election between economy and liberty, or profusion and servitude. If we run into such debts as that we must be taxed in our meat and in our drink, in our necessaries and our comforts, in our labors and our amusements, for our callings and our creeds, as the people of England are, our people, like them, must come to labor sixteen hours in the twenty-four, give the earnings of fifteen of these to the government for their debts and daily expenses, and the sixteenth being insufficient to afford us bread, we must live, as they now do, on oatmeal and potatoes, have no time to think, no means of calling the mismanagers to account, but be glad to obtain subsistence by hiring ourselves to rivet their chains on the necks of our fellow-sufferers." --Thomas Jefferson to Samuel Kercheval, 1816. ME 15:39

The current chatter is about Bush's proposed budget in which the adjective 'astronomical' doesn't even come close to hitting the mark. While the Democrats and Republicans have begun exchanging spit over which programs will get cut or receive less money that will have to be borrowed since there is no money in the people's treasury, constitutionally, all of it is meaningless. More distractions to pit the special interest groups against the opposite political party and provide lots of blather for talk radio.

Why is Bush's budget meaningless? Due to the dumbing down of the American people and the absolute corruption of our political system, few even know the actual job description for a president of these united States of America according the to the U.S. Constitution:

Art II, Section 2. The President shall be commander in chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the militia of the several states, when called into the actual service of the United States; he may require the opinion, in writing, of the principal officer in each of the executive departments, upon any subject relating to the duties of their respective offices, and he shall have power to grant reprieves and pardons for offenses against the United States, except in cases of impeachment.

He shall have power, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, to make treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, shall appoint ambassadors, other public ministers and consuls, judges of the Supreme Court, and all other officers of the United States, whose appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by law: but the Congress may by law vest the appointment of such inferior officers, as they think proper, in the President alone, in the courts of law, or in the heads of departments.

The President shall have power to fill up all vacancies that may happen during the recess of the Senate, by granting commissions which shall expire at the end of their next session.

No where does the supreme law of the land state the president has any authority to submit a budget to anyone. That responsibility is the sole domain of the House of Representatives:

Art I, Section 7. All bills for raising revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with amendments as on other Bills.

The reason the framers of the Constitution separated these powers was to ensure that the people's pocket would only be picked by those they elected - the House. The Senators were appointed by their state legislatures to represent the interests of the States - at least that's the way it was before the fraudulent ratification of the Seventeenth Amendment. The president has no authority to spend a penny of the people's money unless a bill has made its way through the constitutional process:

Art. I, Section 7. Every bill which shall have passed the House of Representatives and the Senate, shall, before it become a law, be presented to the President of the United States; if he approve he shall sign it, but if not he shall return it, with his objections to that House in which it shall have originated, who shall enter the objections at large on their journal, and proceed to reconsider it.

There is one loophole that Bush might wish to use to justify "his" budget and it is found in Art II, Section 3: He shall from time to time give to the Congress information of the state of the union, and recommend to their Consideration such Measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient; he may, on extraordinary occasions, convene both Houses, or either of them, and in case of disagreement between them, with respect to the time of adjournment, he may adjourn them to such time as he shall think proper; he shall receive ambassadors and other public ministers; he shall take care that the laws be faithfully executed, and shall commission all the officers of the United States.

The word 'Measures' above can mean: A legislative bill or enactment. The president can make a recommendation to Congress for a bill or enactment he judges necessary and expedient. In this case, Bush wants $2,570,000,000,000.00 or two trillion five hundred seventy billion worth of 'necessary and expedient.' Items such as:

The cost of jailing illegals: California, Arizona and Texas alone are demanding reimbursement from Washington to the tune of $6.4 billion dollars for their costs in jailing illegals - that's only three states. Can you imagine the cost for all 50 states? Congress refuses to take the hard line and lock down our borders, but it's okay to continue fleecing we the people to satisfy the big corporate donors to the Republican party so their companies can continue to hire "cheap labor" while hard working Americans continue to see their standard of living decline. Let's not forget the big bucks coming from racist Hispanic organizations like La Raza and MALDEF who are engaged in flagrant sedition. Tomorrow when you go to work, this is what you're working for:

$200,000,000,000 for the unconstitutional invasion of Iraq and rebuilding a foreign country.

$63,300,000,000 for the unconstitutional Department of Education

$7,600,000,000 for the unconstitutional Environmental Protection Agency

Our military giving free dental and medical services in more than a dozen countries when they can't even scrape together parts for tanks and planes over in Iraq.

The list could go on and on. None of the above are necessary, constitutional or expedient. The budget belongs to the House of Representatives alone and they are confined to only specific and limited areas where they can legislate, which is Art. I, Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution.

For the gimee-gimee crowd who believe their pet wants are covered under the "general welfare" clause of the Constitution, they should pay attention to the words by the man who wrote it, James Madison, also known as 'The Father of the Constitution' when he said: "With respect to the words 'general welfare,' I have always regarded them as qualified by the detail of powers (enumerated in the Constitution) connected with them. To take them in a literal and unlimited sense would be a metamorphosis of the Constitution into a character which there is a host of proofs was not contemplated by its creators."

Take a look at your pay stub and see just how much money these thieves in Washington are stealing from you now to give to the privately owned Federal Reserve to pay the constant borrowing from over spending by Congress. Combine that with the state taxes, sales taxes, gasoline taxes and a hundred others and America's slaves are lucky to keep 50 cents from every dollar they earn. Yes, you are a slave when someone takes the fruits of your labor and gives it away to someone else unlawfully.

The point of no return is swiftly approaching when you will be forking over 100% of your paycheck to service this debt created by the biggest whorehouse on the face of this earth: Congress. The checks and balances are now gone, the people are voting for jobs instead of freedom. The option is to vote out every incumbent in two years (except Ron Paul and Tom Tancredo) and replace these lawbreakers with constitutionalists. In the meantime, start protecting your assets and get out of debt. The worst is yet to come. The Communists in China have been warning the U.S. about its massive debt while Washington, DC just continues to ignore the warning signs as they borrow to spend. The world's billionaires aren't buying up gold like crazy without good reason. Think about it.
