TIME FOR CHANGE AGAIN
PART 1

In every hundred years or so, changes take place that affect humans, other animals and the world's environments. Each generation has its share of optimists and pessimists and in every mid-century the pessimists usually win out over the optimists. Historically, the Bible states that the earth is 5,000 years old which is an indication that those who write history make history. One day in God's time could be 24 million years.

The problem with history is that man wants to control what is ordained by God regardless of which part of the world involves religion - excluding everything else. In India where multi-populist religions exist and many fanatical crazies kill each other as in the Middle East; in Japan cults resuscitating the era of the war cry "Bonsai," the resurrection of Japan's military to defend against a possible Chinese threat. The latent ashes of Emperor worship known as State Shinto was abolished after WWII leaving the great majority of Japanese either agnostic/non state Shinto believers. Over 78% are atheists more vulnerable to supporting militarism because of the poor financial state of the economy and enthused with the idea of changing government leaders. There is no inclination for Oomato and Gakkai, however. In Miramar, Bangladesh and the Muslim populations Sunni and Shea factions split hairs over which tribal leader that lived six hundred years after the birth of Christ was the righteous heir to Mohammed's true religious intentions. Daily the sects murder each other for a vague principal.

Millions of the confused faithful suffered torture and death throughout Christian Europe from the time of the Crusades through the horrors of the Inquisition, including the Reformation and although, at present in Europe and the U.S.A, religious turmoil is benign yet elements of religious fanaticisms still endure, especially by the Shiite Muslim Taliban who are stuck in their psyche of the 11th Century replicating the deeds of the mummified 1200 year old Silliman - destroyer of crusaders.

In today's world, skepticism abounds because of the internet and the massive exposure to mendacity, duplicity, theft, bribery and the warts in politics, governments and the complicit major news media that more than ever obfuscate truth. The difference is that the populations are more purposely kept at a level suitable to those who wish to control them. Hence, the result of the "enlightenment" of the French Revolution that produced Marx, Engels, Lenin, the Russian Revolution, the Bolsheviks, the Mensheviks, Nazi Schutzstaffel, Hitler's Fascism , Stalin's KGB, Pol Pot - mass murders all. Castro like the others used public education to inculcate children to become willing followers. The gurus on Wall Street, the international bankers, the multinational industrialists, and the new world order Bilderbergers bent on a new tower of Babel promote international socialism or despotism - they are the modern 2013 power brokers that tolerate a wannabe dictator whose purpose is to change America into a Marxist society.

So dear reader, has the world, composed of flawed humans, really changed? Has the evil that men do any less now than heretofore? No, even more evil and more dangerous this world has become. In the United States, since Roe vs. Wade, 3000 infants - each day are legally aborted from their mother's wombs. Sodomy, (buggery) is accepted as normal and just another life style; pornography can't be identified as legal or not legal; same sex marriage is generally acceptable, while the nation's divorce rate is 51%. Seventy percent of all babies born amongst the black population are fatherless; the white population's demographics show less than a 2% birth rate which, if not reversed, soon will be unrecoverable. Could it be that free abortion pills, pills before and after sex has anything to do with demographics? Could it be that not having children late in life is due to postponement because of career ambitions?

Overall, in single family households, 30% of them have but one parent....usually a woman who is either dependent on welfare or working multiple jobs with fatherless children, left on their own, to search for gang membership as a substitute for a safe home environment.

Worse yet, in Washington, D.C. there is a plutocracy imbedded where the legislature and at the level of the presidency - a hereditary string exists from generation to generation where family members and their in-laws continue a succession of political control at key levels. The Kennedy family is one example. the Bush family is another. If a person in congress holds office past 12 years, you can bet he or she already is a millionaire maybe several time over. If they weren't millionaires before entering those hallowed halls, they soon win their sweepstakes. When the long term, imbedded incumbents finally leave office, they are recycled as lobbyists to importune their tenured fellow contacts that head committees to slip in bills favorable to the companies and institutes that pay them enormous commissions.

What is considered the wonders of the modern age is the acceleration of scientific advances. Science has provided the means to take the drudgery out of daily life and the time-consuming requirements of manual labor to unbelievable heights. Think of it, the horse and buggy were the prime means of travel in 1800 until the development of the steam engine, and the cotton gin in mid-nineteenth century and later, the gatling gun, biplanes, The Kaiser's Red Barron, Jimmy Doolittle Ace, Big Bertha a monster cannon and armored tanks. In the 1923- 1929 Swing, the Blues, prohibition, John Dillinger and Baby Face Nelson, and prohibition introduced a new age.

In 1939, Americans were wont to enter another conflagration as the dark war-clouds approached. President Roosevelt, while in his fireside chats on the radio, promised America that it would not go to war. All the while he was deeply involved in the preparation for war beginning with lend lease and rearmament which eliminated unemployment and the end of the great depression. Only through a conspiratorial, epical plan involving cutting oil supplies and scrap metal to Japan during its major war in China then followed on with the entire Pacific United States' fleet (not the carriers) which was located at Pearl Harbor, conveniently tempted the Japanese Zeros to attack it while docked in one location. That finally prodded a reluctant nation into retaliation, which of course it did in 1941.

By the turn of the end of the20th century, the optimism again returned, despite what then was an enormous accumulated debt from the Cold War, the war years of President Johnson's unpaid Vietnam escalation, coupled with the Bushes era non-war wars of Iraq and Afghanistan that continue to this day. Yet, today's current debt makes all other former debt miniscule in comparison.

During the latter part of the 50s and Regan's outspending the Soviet Empire, science was really on a roll headed towards the moon; add the introduction of atomic powered ships, atomic powered electric plants and sophisticated surveillance method, crowd control techniques and enhanced weapons of mass destruction. Medicine and medical operation techniques accompanied the ability to brain scan and use lazier surgery procedures, mechanical hearts and pharmaceutical magic pills lengthened life expectations to 80 years and longer. But Medicare, Social Security are on the verge of bankruptcy as life expectancy increases.

The attacks on Iraq originally was against its leader Saddam Hussein who was a supporter of the United States Middle East policies, but his downfall planted the seeds of chaos throughout the Middle East. Yet, all the while, after the Korean non-war war and those that followed, the US population remained mostly oblivious to changes because there were no sacrifices imposed as required during WWII. Later, our volunteer military allowed the civilian population to be exempt from involvement. The Vietnam war debacle ended future forced enlistments due initially to student demonstrators subject to the draft. Today, the public's main interests are centered on pensions, Social security, the stock market, Medicare, Obama Care and every form of welfareism to include illegal aliens and all the fighting is left to the volunteer military.
