Message: I am 80 yrs old...my parents newly wed fled Europe in 1928 and
my good fortune was for me to be born in the USA, a country and people
I have fastened to and been proud to be a part of my entire life. Nothing
has meant more to me than putting my hand on my heart or brow in salute
and singing GOD BLESS AMERICA!! AND I KNEW THIS WAS TRUE.... My parents
saw and described to me what was developing in Europe and all evil that
occurred had been demonstrated by the time I was ten...it was not much
later that my dad solemnly took me to the military newsreel films shown
in the U.S.A. and taken by the American military of the newly rescued
holocaust survivors, the cast off piles of clothing, the huge piles of
skeletal bodies, the claw-marked walls of the gas chambers, uncut, unedited
and probably more than any youngster my age should learn of, but my parents
had raised me and guided me carefully to feel safe as a child belonging
to the Creator GOD and that HE would take care of me always if I followed
HIS Guidance, and so I have lived and believed.
My comment
today, this day especially, is that after reading the commentaries sent
from www.NewsWithViews.com,
your own, plus those by Jonathan Edmond and Frosty Wooldridge MUST BE
REITERATED OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN....MORE VISUAL EVIDENCE SHOWN
OF THE INFILTRATON OF EVIL AND DICTATORIAL CONTROL OF THE U.S. POPULATION
AS WELL AS THE WRITTEN WORDS YOU AND OTHERS CAN PUBLISH AND POST FOR ALL
THE WORLD TO KNOW THAT WE ARE NOT GOING TO 'BACK OFF' TO THE EVIL PRESENCE
IN THE WORLD, AMONG THE PEOPLES, OR IN OUR GOVERNMENT ! WHILE YOU CAN.
POST VIDEOS OF THE HORRORS IN DETROIT...PUBLISH GEERT WILDER'S COMPLETE
SPEECH AT NEW YORK...SEND IT AROUND THE INTERNET WHILE THERE IS TIME AND
THEN PRAY BOYS, PRAY! GOD BLESS YOUR WORDS!

The following was my response:
Trudy,
Thank you so much for taking time to write and your wonderful heartfelt words. I wish more people today had your vision and spirit for the freedoms America stands for. America is great not because of our forests or plains, other countries have such. It is not great because of its natural resources, other countries have such. It is not great because of the people that inhabit its shores, most all have come from other nations. It is great because it was founded on the belief of individual freedom and responsibility. That a person could come to these shores and work hard at what ever they chose to do and reap the benefits thereof without fear of reprisal or subjugation from the government.
I know of what you speak in the contrast of times past and the hope of America. I lived a great deal of my life in other nations where poverty and death was the norm. Where you could only become as great as you were allowed to be by the powers that governed over you whether warlord or government.
America is that shinning beacon of light that all the world looks to as the model of freedom and hope for mankind. Yet, in these days of global strife, I see the government looking to rid America of its most sacred virtues to pattern it after the failed European and socialistic systems.
I will not rest while this looms above the heads of the American people and I will continue to bring to light what I find in the dark corners of our nation.
I thank you again for your words and the passion that you so obviously feel for our great nation and I salute you.
Thank you and may I ask your permission to share your thoughts with others?

--------- End of correspondence
I present this exchange not only for what it says but for the implications of hope in our future and the very real possibility of tragic outcome if we are not careful.
In this correspondence we have the first hand experience and wisdom of our senior generation with direct remembrances of the horrors of oppressive governments and the toll they reap on society. We have the expression of what freedom and liberty mean and the personal responsibility that so many of us feel is a requirement that MUST be ingrained in each and every American heart, if we are to survive.
As with past generations there comes a time that truly tests the metal of the convictions of that generation. In this generation and at this time we are facing what is probably going to be recorded in history as America’s most important test – whether we can keep the last vestige of freedom in the world alive.
We honor the generations past for bringing liberty to this great land and I believe the hand of providence was very much a part of that founding. But since that time I have come to the conclusion that the wisdom of our founders seems to have been lost; at least by those that “lead” this nation and sadly by many if not most that inhabit this land.
This loss now demands action to reclaim our freedoms. Actions that, too many, would seem impossible to achieve. As I have studied the options left to the American people I have come to the conclusion that we are left with four options for the future of our country:
1. Do nothing – Hope our leaders wake up and realize that they and their predecessors have erred and will voluntarily give up their power and position, reduce the government to only its enumerated powers and responsibilities and we live happily ever after. This I call the fairytale.
2. Work within the system to replace those in power and change the government from within. In an ideal world this may work however in reality the system is broke and in its current condition is designed to withstand such a contrivance from succeeding. Power and the ability to effect change in Washington resides in the hands of the upper leadership. Any new representative (Senate or House) that arrive in Washington will be vetted by those in power. If the representative is deemed a threat to the “system” that individual will not be given any position that will allow them to upset the status quo. If the new representative is deemed a “player,” someone they can work with and mold, then they will be put into the right committees and mentored by the elite. There are those that argue that at times like this (election years) we have the opportunity to replace massive amounts of the Washington elite in a single election. This is true and you also have the chance to become a millionaire on the poker tables of Las Vegas, but what are the odds. Those in power have in their favor incumbency, party backing, money, corporate sponsorship, main stream media, and a flock of zombies that pull the lever at every election based on a D or an R. Compound this with politicians like Senator Elect Brown from MA who ran on a platform of anti-healthcare and the day after winning the election stated that some of the healthcare bill was good and that he was not going to be the 41st vote against healthcare. We can NEVER be truly assured of who and how strong the people we send to Washington will be until they are there and then it too late.
3. State Nullification – This is the option that to me is probably the one with the most likely chance of success and the second scariest. This is the concept of one or more states enacting state constitutional changes that will enact law within the state that will nullify the federal encroachment into the sovereign states. In this scenario a state must:
a.
Declare that they will no longer accept federal funds or the requirements
that come with those funds to support unconstitutional programs.
b. That all lands owned by the federal government within
the state that are not held for the direct enumerated powers of the government
(parks, monuments, etc) will revert back to the states and the people.
c. All federal incorporation charters to and within the
states are revoked and only state charters will be recognized.
d. Federal direct taxation of labor (personal income
tax) will cease and all withholding from paychecks will cease and be deemed
unlawful taking and will be prosecuted under state law.
e. Federal taxation must once again become apportioned,
based on the census, for each state.
f. The state must refuse to provide tax funding for any
unconstitutional federal bureaus, organizations, and programs.
g. All federal laws that operate directly on the Citizens
of the state that are not part of the constitutional powers of the federal
will be found null and void.
h. Any federal agent that abuses the previous item will
be immediately arrested and held in violation of that law.
i. Any action by any federal authority within the boundaries
of the state MUST be enacted through the state authority with subject
jurisdiction and any violation of this law is an arrest-able offense.
j. This is just a partial list but I think you get the
jest.
4. The final resort left for the American people is a direct revolt by the people of the Union. This is obviously the least desirable and the greatest danger with the most unpredictable outcome and will assuredly have the highest cost in precious life of both patriot and tyrant. But make no mistake, if need be, the patriotic people of this nation will use whatever means best affords them the ability to remain free, even this one.
Option 1 is only an option for those who desire enslavement and government control and oppression. Option 2, in my opinion, is fools folly for the reasons stated above and because we are starting too late and the speed at which the opposition is moving has greatly accelerated. We should, however, use every opportunity to ensure our representatives are on firm constitutional footing and have the backbone to support it. This is an option that COULD work but at this point may be very doubtful.
This leaves options 3 and 4; both of which are not easy and will require testicular fortitude by the people of states that go this route. In my opinion option 3 is the obvious candidate and will require the same determination as option 4 but it will have the authority and resources of the state to support the movement. The last option (4) is exactly that.
My fellow patriots; our future at this point is unpredictable and we stand on the precipice of hope and tragedy. A narrow precipice for sure but I am heartened by those that respond, like Trudy above, that this great nation will not give up its freedoms without a fight. We will not shrink from the call of liberty or pass on our responsibility to another generation. We must fight to restore our God given rights and the freedoms we have bled and died for.

Tragedy is already here, hope is what we have for the future but what we need is a plan of action and as I have said in the past “Hope is not a plan of action” it is only the motivation that allows the plan to succeed.

Michael is a strict constitutionalist who believes in interpreting the constitution by the original intent of the founding fathers. His research has led him to the conclusion that the republic founded by the Constitution is no longer honored by our government. That those who rule America today are doing so with the interest of the federal government in mind and not the Citizens. Michael believes that all three branches of government have strayed far from the checks and balances built into the Constitution and they have failed the American people. A clear example is the Second Amendment, which the Supreme Court and the founders have all said was an individual right and could not be "infringed" upon, now has more than 20,000 state and federal laws regulating every aspect of the individuals right, a definite infringement. He has traveled around the world living in 14 States of the Union including Hawaii, and visited (for various lengths of time) in Spain, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Korea, Scotland, Pakistan, Mauritius, Somalia, Diego Garcia, Australia, Philippines, England, Italy, Germany, and Puerto Rico.
