The issue of illegals smuggling themselves across the border continues to heat up as Americans grow increasingly frustrated over Washington, DCs refusal to lock down the borders, round up illegals and deport them.(search) One group has decided that in order to hit where it hurts the most, not only to employers who knowingly hire illegal aliens, but to Congress and President Bush, it is promoting a month long boycott.

Stand Up For America wants all Americans who are fed up with excuses from Washington to begin a month long national consumer boycott beginning February 1, 2005, "Consumers across America are urged to only purchase necessities and withhold disposable income by making no "unnecessary" purchases such as for automobiles, TVs, stereos, jewelry, clothing, video games, CDs, appliances, etc. The "initial boycott" will be for the month of February, with likely 30-day extensions until REAL illegal immigration and border enforcement begin."

According to Stand Up For America, the federal government must seal the border with Mexico by any means, arrest and prosecute employers who hire illegal aliens, arrest and immediately deport illegal aliens and authorize all U.S. state and local law enforcement officers to arrest and deport all illegal aliens immediately.

The U.S. Constitution guarantees the fifty states of the Union a Republican form of government and protection from invasion. Many constitutionalists contend that the governors of the four border states themselves have been grossly negligent in not suing the federal government over all costs related due to illegals for failure to meet their obligation to protect against invasion. These attorneys who are experts on this issue also blame the border state governors for not putting the National Guard on their borders decades ago when the federal government failed to take the invasion seriously.

Recently, the Mexican government issued a comic style book explaining how to illegally cross the border into these united States of America and avoid detection. According to Chris Hawley of the Republic Mexico City Bureau:

"The Mexican government is giving out a colorful new comic book with advice for migrants, but immigration-control advocates worry that some of the tips may encourage illegal border crossers.

"The 32-page book, The Guide for the Mexican Migrant, was published in December by Mexico's Foreign Ministry. Using simple language, the book offers safety information for border crossers, a primer on their legal rights and advice on living unobtrusively in the United States.

"This guide is intended to give you some practical advice that could be of use if you have made the difficult decision to seek new work opportunities outside your country," the book says.

"But immigration-control groups questioned some of the guide's advice. "This is more than just a wink and a nod," said Rick Oltman, Western field director for the Federation for American Immigration Reform. "This is so transparent, this is the Mexican government trying to protect its most valuable export, which is illegal migrants."

Others like NWVs columnist, Frosty Wooldridge warn about the massive escalation of diseases being imported by illegal aliens smuggling themselves across the border. (search). Wooldridge states in a recent column, "In the past 40 years, the United States registered a total of 900 cases of the feared Biblical disease--leprosy. Virtually unknown to Americans in the last century, leprosy exceeded 7,000 new cases brought in on the backs of newcomers since 2001. Most of the people infected in America are illegal alien immigrants from leprosy hot spots in Mexico, Brazil, the Caribbean and India."

Stand up for America urges everyone to send their letter to President Bush until the message is heard loud and clear:

Mr. President:

The taxpaying citizens of America have reached an impasse in the quest to have your administration fulfill its Oath of Office to protect this country from invasion (Article IV, Section 4) over our borders and capture/deport criminal aliens now running amok in America. We have organized a National Consumer Boycott which will begin February 1, 2005. All participants will retain their disposable income and ONLY purchase necessities in concurrent 30-day intervals until actual steps are taken to meet our demands, primarily guaranteed by The Constitution and duties of the office you hold.

1. Seal the borders with Mexico by any means necessary.
2. Arrest and fully prosecute employers of illegal aliens.
3. Arrest and immediately deport ALL illegal aliens.
4. Extend arrest and deportation authority to all U.S. state and local law officers.

Until verifiable evidence of movement toward achievement of the captioned laws/demands is evident, the general boycott will continue.

We will not accept "reform." We will not accept "an amnesty" perpetuated under ANY guise. A priority must be placed on enforcement of existing immigration laws immediately.

We will no longer tolerate taxpayer subsidy of cheap labor for corporate America and rampant malfeasance in office by our elected officials. Nor will tolerate any longer the reckless security risks taken by open border special interests in the name of windfall profits and campaign contributions. The eighty percent (80%) of Americans wanting secure borders and alien deportations are in control of cash flow, and we intent to use that control indefinitely with ever graduating impact. Do what you will.
