Gay
- in the 1828 version of the Websters Dictionary means: "merri; airy;
jovial; sportive; frolicksome."
Gayety, "merriment; mirth; airiness."
Yeah, I know the first thought that came to your mind when you read the title! NO EMPHATICALLY NO!
The
word gay does NOT mean homosexual, buggery,
sodomite, sexual deviant, or pervert!
The word "homosexual" is NOT
in the 1828 Websters Dictionary!
Sodomite/sodomy mean " guilty of sodomy; a crime
against nature."
Bugger/buggery
mean "one guilty of THE crime against nature. A
vile wretch; a term of reproach." (Emphasis added) "The unnatural
and detestable crime of carnal intercourse of man or woman with
a beast; or of human beings unnaturally with each other." (Emphasis
added)
Pervert means "to turn from truth, propriety, or from its proper purpose; to distort from its true use or end; as, to pervert reason by misdirecting it; to pervert the laws by misinterpreting and misapplying them; to pervert justice; to pervert the meaning of an author; to pervert nature; to pervert truth."
One of the most effective ways to dull or destroy an individual or societies' sense of morality is to change the meaning of words or terms to soften sin in order to make it more acceptable. Soon evils that were totally unacceptable begin to be tolerated. My friends, "what we tolerate today, we will embrace tomorrow." Evils, sins, crimes all have the same basic meanings that were socially anathemas just a few short years ago. Many were illegal, some even invoked the death penalty, are now are not only tolerated and accepted, but even promoted to divine nature today.
Sold to us as rights, or traits that are born into us, or given by God, so they who commit such abominations are not guilty of any evil doing. WE have either bought into that lie or have learned to live comfortably with it. WE, you and I are guilty by acquiescence. 1828 Websters Dictionary definition: "a quiet assent; a silent submission, or submission with apparent content." WE have allowed and ordained many vile evils with our silent consent and our persistent cowardliness. Good is now evil and evil is good (Isaiah 5:20). We should be reminded that the "fearful (i.e. timid) are the first cast into hell" (Rev 21:8).

Some words or terms we have all come to embrace, or at least accept, further the evil they endeavor to hide and by using them ourselves we lend credence to them: gay - already covered, abortion used to soften cold-blooded murder of THE most innocent! We also have been guilty of using the words such as pre-marital sex, co-ed, and cohabitation which equal fornication, as well as words for adultery such as one-night stand, fling and extra-marital affair in the name of being politically correct.
These are just a few examples we could use. ALL these acts are worthy of death. Both physical and spiritual!
Thank God, Christ can deliver us from spiritual death, BUT a righteous society is divinely appointed to fulfill the physical penalty for these capital crimes (Deut 17:6, 21:22, Gen 9:6, Ex chapter 21, Lev chapter 20, Romans 1:21-32 to name a few)! God ordained civil government was meant to see that capital punishment was enforced (Romans 13:4).
Many will say, well that was mostly old testament you have cited and we are no longer to be ruled by the Divine Laws. That very attitude, tolerance of sin, is exactly why our nation is being destroyed! PLEASE do more research on this damnable doctrine from hell! You may want to start with Matt 5:17-20, John 14:15, 1 John 3:4, 2 Thes 5:1-3, Matt 19:16-17, Matt 22:40 to name a few. Folks, if it was sin according to God's word 4,000 years ago, it's STILL sin today! If it was sin according to God's word in America 25, 50, 100, 200 or more years ago - it is STILL sin today! Let me remind you what historian, philosopher and statesman Alexis de Tocqueville had to say in part, "Not until I went into the churches of America and heard her "pulpits" FLAME WITH RIGHTEOUSNESS did I understand the secret of her great power. America is great because America is good (righteous) and if America ever ceases to be good, America will cease to be great."
The only reason we rebel against this fact is because we have been deceived by the deceivers. Changing the meanings of words has influenced all of us. We need to pay heed, repent and stand to once again expose and destroy evil or we will join in the damnation we so justly deserve. ONLY evil men and seducers (impostors and pseudo-christians) shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. (II Tim 3:13)

Now back to the title of this article PRAISE GOD, I'M GAY! Phil 4:7, 1 Peter 1:8, John 14:27 are only a few reasons why I am so GAY! I have a blessed life on earth even through tribulation. ALL things work to my good (Romans 8:28). I have eternal life abiding in me (John 3:15-16). I have been made a child and heir of the living God (Romans 8:16-18). So, why shouldn't I be GAY?!
