We are told that no real Christian would vote for Trump according to Glenn Beck. Apparently Mr. Beck knows exactly what a ‘real Christian’ is, especially since he says over and over he is a Christian and we are not to be distracted by the small little fact that he is a devout Mormon in good standing with his church.
Certainly, Glenn Beck is playing the big Christian card - you know the battle between good and evil for his endorsed Ted Cruz. What we are to believe is that the ‘Christian anointed one’ is Ted Cruz and the evil and non Christian one is Donald Trump.
We are all to believe that we aren’t a real Christian if we vote for Donald Trump? Certainly, we aren’t to believe that God can change hearts and people can change over the years. Can a Christian first be a non-Christian and can a conservative first be a liberal? Remember, one of the best President’s of our time, the great Ronald Reagan was a ‘card carrying’ liberal during the early part of his life and even political career. He truly transformed to a real U.S. Constitution loving patriot and man of God. Reagan also helped the nation through economic peril, international challenges and achieving real moral high ground again. Ronald Reagan took over the reigns from another scripture quoting horror show of a President, Jimmy Carter.
Only God really knows the heart of us all but Donald Trump has not hidden who he was, nor his liberal roots from America. He has explained why he became pro life instead of pro choice, how he has grown with his faith in Christ and developed a vision for our country. He does not quote scripture at every turn. When he has, he has been attacked and condemned by the ‘Scripture high ground crowd’ over and over, including Glenn Beck because he referred to 2 Corinthians instead of 2nd Corinthians.
Mr. Beck, what about the part of the Bible that warns about falsely judging another? Millions listen with utmost respect and look beyond the ‘Mormon’ card with Glenn Beck. He has said for years that he is a real Christian and lured in many evangelical Christians and their leaders. What does Mormonism really say about Jesus and does it matter? Dr. Walter Martin The Kingdom of the Cults exposes what Mormonism really believes and teaches about Jesus.
Martin makes it most clear that the LDS teach views on Jesus that are hardly Christian in any way. They are promoting an entirely different Jesus than is taught in The Holy Bible. Glenn Beck still plays the evangelical and Christian card, seducing millions. Taken from Walter Martin’s book:
