TIME HAS RUN OUT FOR THIS NATION

If you have been watching the news, reading the blogs, and listening to your president, George Walker Bush lately, you have undoubtedly picked up on the renewed and aggressive talk down of those who have great and grave concerns about the direction of the nation and the treacherous connivances of Mr. Bush and his administration. Indeed we have witnessed, this week, a quick resurrection of the apologists for the president and the increasingly bankrupt policies of his administration.

The American people had enjoyed a relatively short hibernation by the pontificates that pander to the administration�s goal of unlimited immigration and unlimited wars and the goofy minions who seem to believe his pronouncement that he is a mouthpiece for God. In truth these types laid low after the beating they took at the hands of an aroused citizenry in regard to the amnesty bill, which thanks to enraged citizen activists suffered an ignominious defeat. The deep humiliation inflicted upon the super inflated egos of the �I always know what�s best crowd� was heartening and wondrous to behold. For a brief while the country enjoyed a respite from the hot air specialists who have an inflated opinion of their own importance and who use the power of the media to cajole and wheedle the drones that they look down upon to capitulate to their way of thinking. And also for that brief while I sensed a measure of pride among those who prevailed against the giant and brought him down with a barrage of public indignation that collapsed the congressional phone system and caused trickles of sweat to course down the tailbones of more than a few pompous windbags in the senate.

But, alas it seems that this week we have returned to the status quo and reverted to form. The media and the president have re-instituted lies and subjugated the truth in pursuit of their goals and they have, in lieu of being honest about their intent, used scorn and ridicule to denigrate those who have questioned their motives and demanded an explanation of their activities.

At the conclusion of another secret Security and Partnership meeting between Mr. Bush and his counterparts from Mexico and Canada the president was asked by a reporter if the meeting was in fact a prelude to a North American Union similar to the European Union and if there were plans to build a super highway connecting the three North American Countries. The president chose to sidestep honesty once again by resorting to equivocation and by deploying the slick evasiveness he possesses as an accomplished liar. His response was to express scorn for those who rightfully raise legitimate questions concerning the activities of their government and by ridiculing those who do raise such questions by poking fun of them as conspiracy theorists. In the famed words of his own utterance, the president was once again �catapulting the propaganda.�

Even a cursory study of his political background discloses the fact that he has a long history, both as governor and as president, of deceit, and of exceeding the authority vested in his office by boldly evading the constraints of the laws governing his authority.

No lie is of the truth, and the truth is that people do not like the truth. At least we seem to value lies over the truth, are we really that perverse? The answer is, yes, we are. When I stated that we have reverted to form, I mean that we have done so with a vengeance. With the 2008 presidential campaign underway; we are once again immersed in a sea of lies. And it is only going to get worse.

Indeed those who mostly live by the lie seem to gain the most. Some would lie if the truth sounded better, but the majority seems to lie to cover up previous commitments to debased causes such as support for abortion, affirmation of deviant lifestyles, endorsement of same sex marriages, abolishment of gun ownership and a commitment to unrestrained immigration. If these causes, which they had previously embraced with fervor, were so great why is it that they must now lie about what they once considered to be righteous and acceptable? Do they not have core principles? Undoubtedly the answer to that question is, no they do not.

I never fail to be amazed at the gullibility of the people and their willingness to accept these lies on their face. Are their memories really that short, and if they are, are they too lazy to research the political backgrounds of the candidates? When we accept the lies of the politicians, we enable the debased of mind to rule over us. That this is the case has been demonstrated through the last four presidential administrations. All truly decadent by any standard, but still embraced as good by too many people to ignore. If the morals and character of the people reflect those of the politicians who have ruled over us in the past fourteen years, we are in deep trouble. The fact is that we are indeed in deep trouble; we suffer from a systemic disorder more dire than the majority of our people realize. We could broaden that time frame a bit if we were to include Lynden B. Johnson, but for the sake of adhering to a continuous and unbroken line of corrupt rule I cite only the Clinton and Bush dynasties. Since they are of different parties it is undeniably correct that party is not a common denominator. The common denominator here is a debased spirit that has been disassociated from God and His truths.

So, why is it that our people are so accepting of perversions of the truth? The deplorable fact is that we condition our people from the time that they are children to believe lies. Think about it, Almighty God the Spirit who holds the universe together by the universal laws that He instituted through creation, gave us the truth of our beginning in Genesis. We have chosen to call Him a liar, and to deny His account of our origins. Instead of relying upon God�s truth puny men have corrupted His word and substituted their own theories as to our beginning. By the power of the government and those who control the school systems in this country those theories (lies) are enforced as the truth. Our children are being force-fed lies, and then we wonder why they cannot distinguish between the truth and perversions of the truth. Please, I do not wish to hear from Darwinists and evolution theorists; my mind is as closed to this crap as George Bush�s mind is to the truth. In short I am not one of those who professes to be Christian, but denies God�s truth by substituting the lies of men for the word of God.

I personally do not believe that we will see another president. I believe that George W. Bush will usher out the end of an age for this country and that the United States will cease to exist as an independent nation. I am not a prognosticator or a prophet. I simply have a very strong conviction that we have run our string. God has washed His hands of us. He has disassociated Himself from us and allowed us to be possessed of a corrupt mind and to be delivered up to the devastating consequences of our own wrong choices. The Apostle Paul expressed it thusly: �And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind.� Romans 1:28

When it happens it will come on with blinding suddenness. We have been warned time and time again, but like those who ridiculed and vindictively scorned Noah for building a ship on dry land we have employed the same derision in response to the messages of the watchmen of our times, and so at zero hour we will be surprised! Since we have distanced ourselves from Almighty God, He has distanced Himself from us. When the time comes we will beg, cry and plead, but it will be to no avail. Many will blame the very God who they denied, ignored and defamed with vituperation, and few will acknowledge that it was their own conscious acts of disobedience and denial that brought them to such a disaster. We are seeing the fingers of the approaching time of destruction daily, but we continue, as we always have, to put it down as coincidence. These trickles are sure signs that the dam has been breached and that it is only a matter of time until the deluge will submerge us in the climactic events of the time of retribution.
