Barack Hussein Obama claims he was born in Hawaii. As proof he produced a laser printed copy of a document which appeared on several websites. Two pro-Obama websites, FactCheck.org [1] and FighttheSmears.com claim the document is authentic and proof that Obama was born in Hawaii. From the FactCheck.org website comes this:

“FactCheck.org staffers have now seen, touched, examined and photographed the original birth certificate. We conclude that it meets all of the requirements from the State Department for proving U.S. citizenship. Claims that the document lacks a raised seal or a signature are false. We have posted high-resolution photographs of the document as ‘supporting documents’ to this article. Our conclusion: Obama was born in the U.S.A. just as he has always said.”

Is this really true?

If you look in the lower left-hand corner of the document shown at the two above mentioned websites, you will see the following: “OHSM 1.1 (Rev. 11/01) Laser.” OSHM stands for Office of Health Status Monitoring, a unit of the Department of Health in Hawaii. This document was printed on a form revised in November 2001. It was printed, as indicated, on a laser printer. If you enlarge the picture of the document, you will see that a date is stamped on the reverse side of the document that appears to be June 6, 2007; probably the date the document was printed.

Given the aforesaid, this document cannot be the “original birth certificate” as claimed by FactCheck.org because Barack Hussein Obama was born on August 4, 1961. His original vault copy Hawaii birth certificate (if such exists) would have been produced on a typewriter; it would not be printed by a laser printer (which didn’t exist in 1961) and it would not be printed on a form revised in 2001 and printed in 2007.

The FighttheSmears.com website titled their article, “The Truth About Obama’s Birth Certificate.” The FactCheck.org website subtitled their article the same. Both claim this document to be Obama’s Birth Certificate when clearly it is not. If these two pro-Obama websites actually did have a copy of Obama’s vault copy Hawaii birth certificate, it would not look like this and it would be a certified copy, duly notarized as a legal facsimile thereof.

What, then, is this document? It is a Certification of Live Birth (hereafter referred to as a COLB) as stated dead-center of the top of the document.

According to WikiAnswers.com, the difference between a Birth Certificate (also called a Certificate of Live Birth) and a Certification of Live Birth (COLB) in Hawaii is as follows:

“In Hawaii, a Certificate of Live Birth is a long form birth certificate. The Certification of Live Birth is the short form birth certificate. The long form contains more information than the short form. The Certification is computer generated utilizing the information from the long form birth certificate. It shows the date the long form was filed. If a Certificate of Live Birth (long form) does not exist, the state of Hawaii will issue a No Record Certification.”

This would seem to indicate that, in order for the COLB to have been issued by the State of Hawaii, the vault copy Hawaii birth certificate for Obama has to exist. But does it? Maybe the better question would be: is the COLB provided by the Obama campaign real or a forgery?

All of this could, of course, be cleared up by Barack Hussein Obama simply producing his vault copy Hawaii birth certificate for Americans to see. So why hasn’t he?

The answer to that may have something to do with claims that Barack Hussein Obama was adopted by his stepfather, Lolo Soetoro, changed his name to Barry Soetoro, and became an Indonesian citizen; that Barry Soetoro was an Indonesian citizen when his father enrolled him in the Catholic Fransiskus Assisi School in Jakarta, Indonesia. The document lists Lolo Soetoro as Obama’s father (not stepfather), and lists his citizenship as Indonesian (not American, not Kenyan).

If Barack Hussein Obama was adopted by Lolo Soetoro in Hawaii, his original vault copy Hawaii birth certificate would be sealed; a new vault copy Hawaii birth certificate would be issued under his new name and any future documents would show Lolo Soetoro as his father. Go back and look at the COLB reproduced on FactCheck.org and FighttheSmears.com. Both show Barack Hussein Obama (Sr) as his father. How could that be if his birth certificate was changed to reflect Lolo Soetoro as his father?

Is it possible that Barack Hussein Obama’s original vault copy Hawaii birth certificate was never changed to reflect his adoption by Lolo Soetoro; that no record exists in the United States that Barack Hussein Obama was adopted by Lolo Soetoro and became a citizen of Indonesia; and that Barack Hussein Obama has, since returning to live in the United States, perpetrated a fraud concerning his citizenship and his birthright? Is the COLB on FactCheck.org and FighttheSmears.com authentic but still a fraud? Or is the COLB provided by the Obama campaign and produced on these two websites a forgery? Either way, Barack Hussein Obama is implicated in the fraud or the forgery.

If Obama did, in fact, become a citizen of Indonesia, such also precludes his eligibility to the office of president under Article II, Section I, United States Constitution. A Norwegian news agency that reports on events in Africa, African Press International (API), claims that Michelle Obama called them regarding a story they did on Obama’s adoption and Indonesian citizenship, published on their website on October 15, 2008.[2] API claims that Michelle Obama stated to them the following:

“… it is strange that API has chosen to support the racists against my husband. There is no shame in being adopted by a stepfather. All dirt has been thrown onto my husband’s face and yet he loves this country. My husband and I know that there is no law that will stop him from becoming the president, just because some American white racists are bringing up the issue of my husband’s adoption by his stepfather. The important thing here is where my husband’s heart is at the moment. I can tell the American people that my husband loves this country and his adoption never changed his love for this country. He was born in Hawaii, yes, and that gives him all the right to be an American citizen even though he was adopted by a foreigner…”[3]

According to the API website, the tape of the conversation was made without Michelle Obama’s knowledge; that the tapes would not be released until legal issues were settled; that the tapes will be made public any day now.

If Michelle Obama actually did make this statement, she tries to equate “natural born citizen” with “American citizen”. A foreign national who enters this country legally, and goes through the process to become a citizen is also an American citizen; he or she is not, however, a “natural born citizen” and is not eligible to the office of president. This was the lament of Republicans when Arnold Schwarzenegger became governor of California. This issue has nothing to do with Obama’s alleged “love [for] this country.”

So the questions remain, despite the claims of the two pro-Obama websites, of 1) whether Barack Hussein Obama really has a vault copy Hawaii birth certificate; and 2) if he does, what it says. Another pertinent question is how many different birth documents are there for Barack Hussein Obama and where do they emanate from.

Lawsuits were filed in several states prior to November 4, 2008, challenging the right of Barack Hussein Obama to be on the ballots of the various states where the lawsuits were filed. Those lawsuits were, for the most part, dismissed by the courts of the respective states.

However, two lawsuits still exist before the United States Supreme Court: Berg vs Obama, et al and Donofrio vs Wells. [4]

Meanwhile, the enterprising hosts of the Mike in the Morning show out of Detroit, Michigan called the Kenyan Embassy in Washington, DC and spoke with the Kenyan Ambassador to the United States, Peter Ogego. Ambassador Ogego had some most interesting things to say to the WRIF hosts. That conversation was recorded and can be listened to here. The bottom line, however, is that Kenyan Ambassador Ogego confirmed that Barack Hussein Obama was born in Kenya as claimed by Obama’s paternal grandmother who states he was born in Mombasa, Kenya; that she was present at his birth.

Barack Hussein Obama was born of an American mother and a Kenyan father. If he was born in Kenya, his mother was still American. Could she confer her American citizenship to Obama even though he was born in Kenya? According to VisaLaw.com, a child born of an American parent in a foreign land between December 23, 1952 and November 13, 1986 would have to meet the following requirement to claim American citizenship:

“When one parent was a US citizen and the other a foreign national, the US citizen parent must have resided in the US for a total of 10 years prior to the birth of the child, with five of the years after the age of 14. An exception for people serving in the military was created by considering time spent outside the US on military duty as time spent in the US.”

Stanley Ann Dunham Obama was born November 29, 1942. Barack Hussein Obama, her son, was born August 4, 1961. Her age, at his birth, was 18 years, 8 months, 5 days. To be absolutely exacting; he was born 248 days past her 18th birthday. She would have needed to be 19 years of age prior to Barack Hussein Obama’s birth in order to confer her U.S. citizenship status to her son if he was born in Kenya.

On FactCheck.org we find the following: “Q[uestion]: Does Barack Obama have Kenyan citizenship. A[nswer]: No. He held both U.S. and Kenyan citizenship as a child, but lost his Kenyan citizenship automatically on his 21st birthday.”

A “natural born citizen” of the United States is not defined as someone having “dual citizenship.” Article II, Section I of the United States Constitution makes it very clear:

“No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution shall be eligible to the office of president; …”

Do you see provision made for someone with dual citizenship and, therefore, dual loyalties? The framers of the Constitution, because they were not natural born citizens of the United States, were grandfathered in as eligible to the presidency. That grandfather clause does not extend to someone born in 1961 even if it is determined that Obama was born in Hawaii and not Kenya. And, of course, there remains the question of Barack Hussein Obama becoming an Indonesian citizen when adopted by Lolo Soetoro. The above quote from FactCheck.org is inaccurate when it states that Obama was a Kenyan citizen as a child. He would have lost that citizenship, as he did the U.S. citizenship, when he became an Indonesian citizen.

All of this brings up the very real question: who is Barack Hussein Obama? Is he really Barack Hussein Obama or is he really Barry Soetoro, or is he some derivation thereof? What do we really know about this man? What is his true and accurate history with regard to birth and citizenship? The American people do not know; the American people want to know; and the American people have a right to know.

Barack Hussein Obama has been vetted by no one. If a decision, handed down by a California court in a case challenging the eligibility of McCain to appear on the California ballot is to be believed, the only course of action left to the American people, if this matter is not settled before December 15, 2008 when the electoral college meets, or is not settled by the electoral college when it does meet, is to seek court action at that time, roughly one month prior to the date Obama should be sworn in.

Why has the mainstream media failed to investigate the very real probability that Barack Hussein Obama is not who he claims to be and is not eligible to the office of president? The answer might be found in the bias the mainstream media showed the Obama candidacy. Examples can be found here and here.

One thing is for sure, Barack Hussein Obama’s eligibility to the office of president should not have been neglected until this late date. If he is not eligible to the office of president, as many believe and is quite probable, a constitutional crisis looms. What procedure is in place in the event Obama is not eligible to the office of president seems a mystery. The California case suggests that the presidency would fall to the Vice-President elect, Joe Biden. One would think, however, that if Obama were determined not eligible to the office of president, then the Democrat Party nomination would be vacated. What happens then? Who becomes president? Or does a new election have to be called and we keep warmongering George Bush as our commandant-in-thief?

Barack Hussein Obama claims to be a “man of the people.” If he is then he does not believe himself above the American people; does not believe he is not answerable to the American people; does not believe he has a right to withhold information deemed vital to the interests of the American people; and does not believe himself above the United States Constitution.

If Barack Hussein Obama does believe himself superior to the people of the United States, he will evade and avoid clearing up the questions surrounding his eligibility to the office of president, as he has done thus far.
