TO CATCH A THIEF

The saga of our sick country continues. Today, we still have a usurper sitting in the Oval Office. Also Known As (AKA) Obama is working with diligence and speed, not to return our country to its founding principles, but to push it over the edge into the tyranny of Marxism. Under the nebulous mantra of “hope” and “change”, terms that AKA has carefully left undefined, running on the backlash of the anger the American people feel toward the Bush Administration for the lies, deceit, and tyranny, AKA is racing forward under the same strategic plan the Bush Administration was implementing, hoping against hope that he can accomplish the task before Americans rebel.

Americans who are watching, learned this week that the American people were lied to back in September when George Bush told the people that the $700 billion bailout bill, the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP), just had to happen to save the banks and Wall Street. And when Americans learned that banks who received TARP money were paying CEO’s big bonuses, taking executives to lavish spas, ordering jets, vacationing in the Caribbean, and going on hunts in England after “taking” TARP money, they were understandably upset, hammering Congress with angry e-mails.

The first lie was that banks would go under if TARP didn’t pass; the second lie was the self-righteous anger of Congress when they learned that banks “taking” TARP funds were “spending extravagantly.”

Recently, snatches that point to the truth have come out. On February 18, 2009, an article appeared on the TwinCity.com website, entitled, “U.S. Bancorp CEO Davis rips TARP.” That article states, in part:

Created to encourage lending to small businesses and consumers, TARP started by shoveling tens of billions of dollars at the country's biggest banks but soon was expanded to include banks of all sizes. Minneapolis-based U.S. Bancorp got $6.6 billion.

"I will say this very bluntly: We were told to take it. Not asked, told. 'You will take it,' " Davis said. "It doesn't matter if you were there on the first night and you were told to sign on the dotted line before you walked out of the office, or whether in the days that followed, you were told to take it."

But by Tuesday afternoon, a U.S. Bancorp spokesman said Davis had misspoke, and meant that because the largest banks in the country took TARP money, U.S. Bancorp and others were forced to do so as well, for competitive reasons.

Davis went on to say in his talk that while government officials marketed the program as a way to entice banks to lend again, TARP actually was designed to give solid banks like U.S. Bancorp some extra cash to buy weaker banks in the system. U.S. Bancorp did just that late last year when it acquired the assets of two failed banks in California, Downey Savings and Loan and PFF Bank & Trust.

"We were told to take it so that we could help Darwin synthesize the weaker banks and acquire those and put them under different leadership," he said. "We are not even allowed to mention that. ... We were supposed to say the TARP money was used for lending."

But Davis is talking about it now, he says, because he and others oppose current and future strings attached to the program. Davis didn't detail those strings, but he said he and some peers intend to voice their opinions to Washington, D.C., soon.

"Now they're punishing you for having the capital," he said, adding that he refuses to stand by and let his company become "collateral damage" in an attempt to nationalize the banks.

Read that last sentence again: "Now they're punishing you for having the capital," he said, adding that he refuses to stand by and let his company become "collateral damage" in an attempt to nationalize the banks.

Recently, the bank that holds AKA’s mortgage on his Hyde Park home, Northern Trust, threw a party on the occasion of the Northern Trust Open, held in Los Angeles. The party was quite exclusive, quite lavish, obviously costing millions. When questioned about that gala in consideration of the $1.6 million in TARP funds they received, Northern Trust responded with a written release which stated, in part:

It is important to note that as a healthy bank, Northern Trust participated in the U.S. Treasury’s Capital Purchase Program, issuing approximately $1.6 billion of preferred stock and warrants in November, 2008. Northern Trust did not seek the government’s investment, but agreed to the government’s goal of gaining the participation of all major banks in the United States.

CPP funds are not allocated to operating expenses, including marketing, advertising, corporate sponsorship or charitable activities. These are funded through our normal cash flow. Last year, Northern Trust earned operating net income of $641 million.

Unlike common shareholders, U.S. taxpayers are contractually assured a return on their investment. Currently, Northern Trust pays the government $78.8 million on an annual basis as a return on taxpayers’ investment — $19.7 million per quarter.

Translated: Like U.S. Bancorp, an otherwise healthy bank, Northern Trust was forced to participate in the program targeting all major banks in the United States; that the TARP funds were and are the first step in nationalizing the banks, bringing them under government ownership.

The people were flat out lied to about what TARP was for and what the funds would be used for.

And while TARP was passed under the watch of former President George W Bush, we cannot ignore the fact that both AKA and John McCain voted for the bill. When I state that AKA is working off the same strategic plan as Bush, I was not kidding.

On February 27, 2009, CNNMoney.com published an article on their website entitled, “Louisiana bank is first to return TARP funds.” The article states, in part:

"A lot of these small-cap banks remain profitable, and it just doesn't make much sense for the government to try to dictate the way they should operate their business," said Stapp, adding "I think you'll see more banks returning TARP money."

The article continues by pointing out how “outraged” Senator John Kerry (D-MA) was when he learned that Northern Trust had had the audacity to throw a lavish party in Los Angeles on the occasion of the Northern Trust Open.

Senator Kerry’s self-righteous indignation rather falls flat in the face of the truth about the TARP funds being forced on banks who didn’t need them to stay solvent in the first place.

On February 13, 2009, CNNMoney.com published an article entitled “The problem with paying back TARP $” in which is stated, in part:

“A source familiar with the situation indicated there was a sense of hesitancy within the Treasury Department to let TARP recipients pay back the government funds. That's because doing so could send a signal to the markets about which banks are strong and which are not.”

In other words, billions of taxpayer dollars were stolen and forced on banks that didn’t need the funds to conceal which banks were going under.

Banks joining Northern Trust, U.S. Bancorp and Iberiabank Corp in voicing displeasure at being forced to take the funds, are Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan Chase. In the CNN Money.com article above, however, it appears that the U.S. Treasury has put up road blocks to keep banks from returning the money:

For starters, according to the way TARP is currently structured, a bank would have to go out and raise a staggering amount of new capital to replace the government's stake before being permitted to return it.

When Treasury unveiled its capital purchase program last October, the plan required that the government would maintain a stake in banks it invested in until 2012, unless the bank could swap it out with private capital.

In other words, the bank would have to replace the TARP money with money from other sources.

The American people were told that TARP just had to be or the banks would go under. The truth is that TARP is nothing more than the first step in nationalizing the American banks without the knowledge or consent of the American people.

Who is responsible? Every Congressman who voted for this, including the self-righteously indignant Senator John Kerry, Senator John McCain and AKA, then Senator Barack Obama.

Still think the Republicans are working off a different plan than the Democrats?

Did you hear about this from the lamestream media? Maybe bits and snatches, here and there, but not the whole story summed up in a way it could be understood.

Another lie came to light this week, among the many lies told by AKA.

Remember Henrietta Hughes, the homeless black lady who asked AKA, in a quavering voice, to help her on the occasion of his visit to Ft Myers, Florida to promote the $789 billion Piggy Package of Pork Barrel Spending? Remember the well-dressed black lady, with the nice haircut, who reached out to AKA,

"I have an urgent need, unemployment and homelessness, a very small vehicle for my family and I to live in. The housing authority has two years' waiting lists, and we need something more than the vehicle and the parks to go to. We need our own kitchen and our own bathroom. Please help."

AKA kissed her on the cheek, promised her help. Later the press fell all over themselves getting to her, hanging on and reporting her every word. Remember that Henrietta Hughes?

Well, an enterprising individual decided to do a little checking. And guess what that individual found? They found that Henrietta Hughes had quit claim deeded a home, valued at $124,400, paid for, to her son, the one who was supposedly also homeless. The details can be found here.

Why do we get the impression that that little fiasco was staged? Could it be her proximity to AKA right there in front of the audience? Could it be that she didn’t look homeless?

But that isn’t the end of the story. It seems that on “Thursday morning (February 12, 2009), Chene Thompson handed Henrietta Hughes the keys to her home in Hendry County. Thompson is the wife of State Representative Nick Thompson (R-District 73). Hughes and her son will live at the home rent free.” But it seems that prior to the visit of AKA, a local group, We Care Outreach Ministries, offered Henrietta and her son free housing for three months, gave her money and food, and offered her son job training; all of which Henrietta refused. Henrietta, of course, denies it. Go here to read the rest of the WINKNews.com story and watch the news report.

Last week, the United States House of Representatives passed the Omnibus Appropriations Act, 2009, HR 1105, for the “fiscal year ending September 30, 2009, and for other purposes.” The bill, 1123 pages, comes with a $410 billion price tag. The bill is page after page of nothing but spending, spending, spending, a great deal of that spending, under presidential aegis, occurring outside the United States.

HR 1105 passed the House on a vote of 245 “yeas” (229 Democrats and 16 Republicans) and 178 “nays” (20 Democrats and 158 Republicans). Did you hear anything about it in the lamestream media?

There’s a lot you don’t hear in the lamestream media; a lot, too, that you shouldn’t hear that you do. This week CNN newscaster Nick Sanchez held up, on air for all to see, a document he claimed was AKA’s “birth certificate.” Those were his words.

What is with these lamestream media schmucks? They hold sacred this document they keep calling AKA’s “birth certificate” when right there, smack in the middle of the top of the document, is printed the words “CERTIFICATION OF LIVE BIRTH.” It does not say birth certificate or certificate of birth. These same (illiterate) schmucks continue to claim that Hawaii has issued a statement that they have AKA’s “Hawaii” birth certificate when that is not what was stated at all. What was stated was that they have AKA’s birth certificate. They did not state, have not stated, who issued that birth certificate. And are these schmucks really so dumb that they believe “African” is a race? Likewise, these schmucks, obviously lacking even a modicum of investigative accumen, don’t know (and don’t care to know) that Hawaii has a law allowing for the registration of foreign-born children.

The general consensus of these obamatoids: “Don’t confuse me with the facts!”

AKA knows his past is catching up to him, and he is moving as rapidly as possible to get his Marxist agenda shoved through. He is being aided and abetted by a Democrat-controlled Congress that, collectively, doesn’t have the brains of a gnat!

But the resolve of the American people to oust AKA from the office he illegitimately holds is growing exponentially. Even people who voted for him are asking why this man, if he is legitimate, is going to so much trouble to conceal his birth certificate.

And we must not stop with ousting just Obama. Every member of the United States Supreme Court, every member of Congress who stood by and allowed this usurper to take control of the Oval Office because they were cowards and traitors, must be ousted, too.

It’s time we take back our country!
