We are now a week past shutdown Tuesday. Myself, I've really noticed no difference. Everything seems to be running along just fine without Washington DC breathing down our necks 24/7. It's like a breath of fresh air!
Of course, there was the call-in to the local VA Hospital and getting left on hold for an inexcusable length of time; no doubt, like shutting down the Veterans Memorial in DC, the government's way of letting all we peons know how angry they are that we aren't rolling over and playing dead while they filch every penny they can from our pockets and pocketbooks!
The propaganda arm of the government, otherwise known as the mainstream media, has been busy giving Obama and company, and that bastion of mental paucity, Senator Harry Reid (would someone please get him a better teleprompter), all the air time they want to blame this all on the Republicans; to claim the Republicans have shut down the government.
But is that really true? Of course not.
Who is to blame is every Republican and every Democrat who voted to pass H.R. 3590 – aka, Obamacare or the Affordable Care Act – in 2010. For that list, go here. The effect of Obamacare on the American economy is already apparent …
•
employers leaving positions vacant and downsizing, producing more unemployment;
• employers dropping coverage on spouses and
dependents;
• employers going to part time employment;
• people discovering that premiums, on the healthcare
exchanges, for policies comparable to what they had through their employer,
to be significantly higher; further stretching their already over-burdened
budgets;
• decreased employment hours and increased insurance
premiums;
• doctors declining to accept medical cards;
requiring the patient to travel further from home for medical care (especially
true in outlying areas).
• medical technology companies cutting back on
innovation because of the taxes imposed by Obamacare that will decrease
their profits.
Obamacare is also affecting businesses outside the medical field, such as veterinarians and sporting goods stores affected by Obamacare taxes.
This are just some of the problems, but certainly not all. None of this is funny; and it is all because of Obamacare.
And, of course, none of these things were supposed to happen which just goes to show how out-of-touch Senators and Representatives, who voted for Obamacare in Washington DC, are with the reality of America and the economy!
But, if you are like me, you are tired of the mainstream media giving Obama and the Democrats a pass while targeting Republicans. Anyone who knows me, knows that I give Congressman McMorris Rodgers a bad time on a regular basis! The other day I watched an interview between Congresswoman McMorris Rodgers and some female on CNN and I have to give McMorris Rodgers a pat on the back, I think I'd have been tempted to smack that female right upside the head. Her position was clearly in support of funding Obamacare. Of course, that female probably makes two or three times what the average American blue-collar worker makes in a year; what does she have to worry about? It isn't going to affect her getting her hair dyed and styled or her weekly manicure done!
But blue-collar America is taking a direct hit from Obamacare; as was intended from the outset; putting more people out of work; further straining the already strained economy due to the antics of Obama and company.
I sent Senator Harry Reid, and Senators Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell the following e-mail:
If Obamacare is funded, you, Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell can kiss your re-election bids goodbye. You might as well retire and save yourselves the humiliation of a landslide defeat.The American people have spoken. We do not want Obamacare. We do not want to fund Obamacare. If the never-do-wells in this country can't afford healthcare, that's their problem. It's time we quit subsidizing lazy, good-for-nothing dope heads!
You, too, can send Senator Harry Reid an e-mail here. Remember, be civil but get your point across, loud and clear!
And, being tired of the local propaganda arm of the government giving Obama and the Democrats a free-ride, I sent my local ABC, CBS, and NBC affiliates this e-mail:
I am sick and tired of listening to you give Obama and the Democrats a free ride, while blaming the Republicans for this mess.
Working Americans, the ones who will be forced to pay for Obamacare, cannot afford it. There comes a time when enough is enough and that time is now. Working Americans are not the reason we have a growing number of slackers in our society. For that the Democrats must take full responsibility! They love nothing better than someone who sits on their butt with their hand stuck out, saying, "Gimme; I deserve to be taken care of!" If the Democrats want to subsidize healthcare for their voters, let them do it out of their own pockets; leave working Americans out of it; and leave our healthcare alone.
We've had enough.
If you don't start providing balanced coverage of this boondoggle that has occurred because Obamacare has been forced down the throats of working Americans against their will, I intend to boycott every company that advertizes through you; and I won't mind telling them why.
Since your local alphabet soup affiliate depends on advertizing dollars to pay their way, the message is clear.

Beyond the above, I encourage everyone to demand a full independent investigation of Obama's eligibility and all the scandals associated with his time in office. Work to get every Republican, every Democrat, who refuses to comply, unelected the next time they come up for re-election.
Obama and those Republicans and Democrats who voted for Obamacare have declared war on middle-class America. This isn't a mere skirmish, this is all-out war! We either fight or we lose, again.
