AMERICAN PEOPLE: FOREIGNERS IN OUR OWN LAND

I’ve been watching for years as the United States has moved further down the road toward a system that embraces and resembles communism, but all the while, also possesses the characteristics of a corporate fascist state.

Stories of Chinese communist espionage penetrating U.S. military bases, laboratories, and academic institutions have been plentiful, as the People’s Liberation Army has sought to steal any sensitive information that could be used to improve China’s military surveillance and weapons systems.

The Cox Report to Congress dealt with many of those issues. Formally titled, U.S. National Security and Military/Commercial Concerns with the People’s Republic of China, this partially-classified report was released in January 1999. Despite the concerns outlined in the Cox Report, the situation has only worsened. Even more frightening, is the now undeniable complicity of those within federal, state, and city governments at opening up the U.S. — our economy, our infrastructure, our businesses, and our neighborhoods — to the People’s Republic of China.

Your writer watched in horror in 2009 as the Red Chinese raised their flag in our nation’s capitol, near the White House in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Maoist revolution. At the time this happened, I posed the question on my radio program, that if the United States tried to plant its flag in Beijing, how far would we get? Would they allow it? The answer is obvious. Then, why is the United States allowing the Red Chinese to plant their flag here?

Some have speculated that the answer may lie in the fact that the United States is at least a trillion dollars in debt to China. Some estimate the debt is much higher. Was the raising of China’s flag in Washington D.C. a symbol of communist Chinese conquest? Was there a deal made at some point to “sell” America to the Red Chinese?

Then, on the heels of that event, came the news that the Empire State Building in New York was changing the color of its lights to Red and Yellow — again, in honor of the 60-year anniversary of the Maoist Revolution in China. Now, you had both the political and the financial capitals of the United States — a nation that supposedly represents the biggest “free market” system in the world — honoring one of the world’s most repressive and tyrannical! Had they all lost their minds?

Mao Tse-Tung, Chinese revolutionary and the first chairman of the Chinese communist party was a hideous and ruthless dictator. His policies of persecuting farmers under the “Great Leap Forward” led to the death of 40 to 70 million Chinese people through violence and starvation. Millions more were displaced, tortured, raped, and killed through Chairman Mao’s succeeding “Cultural Revolution” which was designed to solidify his power by purging his critics.

Johnathan Fenby, in Modern China: The Fall and Rise of a Great Power, 1850 to the Present, says of Chinese Revolutionary Mao Tse-Tung,

“Mao’s responsibility for the extinction of anywhere from 40 to 70 million lives brands him as a mass killer greater than Hitler or Stalin, his indifference to the suffering and the loss of humans breathtaking.”[1]

Yet, this is the “great” psychopathic “leader” whose revolution was celebrated on the national Mall in D.C., and in New York.

David Flumenbaum of the Huffington Post concluded:

“No matter who is responsible for the Empire State Building ‘going Communist,’ as some have put it, when the spire glows China’s red and yellow, New York City, defined by its most iconic structure, will be giving Mao, Communism, and the People’s Republic of China a big pat on the back.”

It’s a “pat on the back” that’s become a regular and frequent ritual among multi-national business leaders, and “elected” officials from every level of government that they control. World Trade Organization agreements, which eliminate tariffs on imports of goods and services entering the country, have created the environment in which the American workers find themselves having to compete with foreign slave labor. Common sense dictates that if corporations are free to shop around the world for the cheapest labor, unemployment at home will skyrocket. Furthermore, the jobs that are left will pay less, and offer less in the way of benefits.

In my article, Unemployment: Now that’s Sustainable!, I examined the devastating effects of NAFTA on the U.S. trade deficit using statistics pulled directly from the U.S. Census Bureau. NAFTA is just one of many such trade agreements that have been shoved down the throats of the American people, much to our country’s economic and security detriment. We were told that NAFTA would fix the illegal immigration problem by bringing Mexico up out of poverty. The exact opposite has happened. “Migrant workers” flooded America in droves, as U.S. corporations forced them off their land. Some states attempted to deal with the influx of foreign workers by erecting laws of their own, and have been subsequently sued by the federal government.

After flooding America with Mexican “migrant workers”, the U.S. government, shepherded by globalist multi-national corporations, have apparently decided to do the same with communist China.

In January 2011, Chinese leader Hu Jintao met with Barack Obama in Washington D.C. Wire services captured the irony of the event, publishing pictures of the Chinese flag, alongside the red, white and blue on Constitution Avenue.

It was at that meeting that Obama and Hu set up the U.S.-China Governor’s Forum, which took place the following July in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was the purpose of the Forum to pair the governors of the states with the Chinese provincial party secretaries. A reciprocal visit took place in October — all stemming from a “Memorandum of Understanding”, signed by Obama and Hu Jintao which the State Department said was aimed at facilitating “greater people-to-people contact between our two countries.”

Even before the Memorandum was signed, Chinese nationals were being welcomed into America, en masse. As Americans increasingly become homeless and poor due to the deliberate giveaway of our economy, “wealthy Chinese investors” began flooding America, buying the houses that Americans could no longer afford to own.

State and local governments have begun bending over backwards to do anything to attract Chinese people, businesses, and money. They are being aided by the federal EB-5 visa program, which allows foreign investors — including communist Chinese — to literally buy permanent residency in the United States. Communist China is being welcomed in to build rail infrastructure, bridges, take over media outlets and movie theatres. They’ve just been given the nod by the Federal Reserve to take over a U.S. bank, even as we learn that the federal government gave the PRC a direct computer link to the U.S. Treasury Department so they can purchase Federal Reserve treasuries without having to go through the hassle of buying them on Wall Street.

We now have word that a mainland China firm called Sino-Michigan Properties, LLC has paid $1.9 million for 200 acres of farmland in Milan, Michigan. The plan is to build a China city, consisting of 415 units that would be home to Chinese “business people”. How many of these “business people” will be spies for the Peoples Liberation Army? Does anyone know? Does anyone even care?

Whenever one speaks out in opposition to allowing Chinese nationals to buy up and colonize the United States, they are immediately shot down as xenophobic and racist by those who stand to benefit financially from the business dealings that bring the Chinese to our shores. Yet, the real issue is not a matter of race, but of economic and national security.

China has been using the financial gain afforded them by having American store shelves stocked with cheap “Made in China” products, to build up their military, in preparation for a potential war with the United States, should the U.S. interfere with their reclaiming of Taiwan. A Chinese general even threatened to use nuclear weapons against the United States in 2005, should the U.S. military defend Taiwan against a China attack.

The Defense Department acknowledged the dangers of the Chinese military buildup in its annual report to Congress in August 2010. But that didn’t stop Defense Secretary Robert Gates from heading to China for a diplomatic trip in early January 2011 — the same month as Obama’s meeting with Hu Jintao. Even as Gates prepared for the meeting, images of the new Chinese stealth fighter jet were published online, built with stolen technology that had been taken from a F-117 American jet that had been shot down over Kosovo in 1999. The following August, China also revealed its new aircraft carrier.

Just this year, on May 18th, the Pentagon released a new assessment (pdf) of China’s military capabilities, saying they are getting stronger and that the “PLA Air Force is transforming into a force capable of offshore offensive and defensive operations.”

Much of the technology from the buildup of the Chinese military has been stolen from the United States through espionage operations — a fact that is all too aided along by U.S. openness. One vulnerable area that is widely being exploited are American universities.

In April, Bloomberg ran a story called, American Universities Infected by Foreign Spies Detected by FBI. Quoting from the story:

“Unlike its counterparts in other countries, which rely on their own operatives, China’s intelligence service deploys a freelance network including students, researchers and false- front companies, said David Major, president of the Centre for Counterintelligence and Security Studies in Falls Church, Virginia and a former FBI official.

“China has ‘lots of students who either are forced to or volunteer to collect information,’ he said. ‘I’ve heard it said, ‘If it wanted to steal a beach, Russia would send a forklift. China would send a thousand people who would pick up a grain of sand at a time.’

“China also has more than 3,000 front companies in the U.S. ‘for the sole purpose of acquiring our technology,’ former CIA officer S. Eugene Poteat, president of the Association of Former Intelligence Officers in McLean, Virginia, wrote in the fall/winter 2006-2007 edition of Intelligencer: Journal of U.S. Intelligence Studies.

“U.S. and Canadian universities reaped $2.5 billion in 2011 from licensing technology, up from $222 million in 1991, according to the Association of University Technology Managers in Deerfield, Illinois.”

Your writer has met and repeatedly interviewed former University of Michigan professor Dr. C. William Kauffman, a rocket propulsion expert who was forced out after confronting university leaders about delegations from Red China being allowed in and provided access to sensitive information. After having his concerns ignored by university and political leaders, Dr. Kauffman is now running for university board of regents.

Americans are increasingly spied upon, watched, and groped at the airport by the TSA under the guise of “Homeland Security”. It was announced earlier this year, that the NSA is spending $2,000,000,000 of your tax money to build a massive data center in Utah, that will be snooping and storing data on our activities. Wired’s Threat Level reported in March,

“The heavily fortified $2 billion center should be up and running in September 2013. Flowing through its servers and routers and stored in near-bottomless databases will be all forms of communication, including the complete contents of private emails, cell phone calls, and Google searches, as well as all sorts of personal data trails—parking receipts, travel itineraries, bookstore purchases, and other digital “pocket litter.” It is, in some measure, the realization of the ‘total information awareness’ program created during the first term of the Bush administration…”

Meanwhile, efforts by this writer to get local and state media to cover what is arguably the greatest national security risk of our time have reaped no takers. One well-known political “journalist” actually rolled his eyes at me, while another told me straight out: “That’s not what I normally write.”
