Preacher Harold Camping Sets His Rapture Date of May 21, 2011

Preacher Harold Camping is at it again, setting a specific date that the Rapture is going to occur. His advertising is warning people that the End of the World, the Rapture of the Church, is going to occur May 21, 2011!

Jesus told us 2,000 years ago to watch out for false religious leaders and their prophecies at the End of the Age. Listen:

But of that exact day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father." (Matthew 24:36)

"But of that day or that hour not a single person knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.' (Mark 13:32; Ibid)

"The master of that servNotice that Jesus goes out of His way to tell us that false religious teachers were going to multiply at the End of the Age, we were to expect and keep away from them and their false teachings when they do arise. The key point to Jesus' Second Coming via the Rapture of the Church is that Jesus said plainly that no man can know the exact day and hour when He would return. Not even Jesus knows that precise time; only the Father can know.

Then, Jesus told us all that false religious teachers were going to multiply at the End of the Age and that we were to have nothing to do with them! Listen:

"For false Christs and false prophets will arise, and they will show great signs and wonders so as to deceive and lead astray, if possible, even the elect (God's chosen ones)." (Matthew 24:24; Ibid.)

At this point, Jesus tells His genuine believers what they are to do when they see and/or hear such an End of the Age false teacher:

"So if they say to you, Behold, He is in the wilderness (desert)--do not go out there; if they tell you, Behold, He is in the secret places or inner rooms--do not believe it. For just as the lightning flashes from the east and shines and is seen as far as the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be. Wherever there is a fallen body (a corpse), there the vultures will flock together." (Matthew 24:26-28; Ibid.)

When May 21, 2011, when Harold Camping is once again proven wrong, will he and his false date setting be like a dead body upon which the vultures of the air will descend for a feast? Remember, Preacher Camping has been wrong as he set 1994 as the year in which the Rapture was going to occur.

NEWS BRIEF: "Harold Camping Will go Mad on May 11, 2011," The American Vision, January 5, 2010

"Camping sold tens of thousands of copies of '1994'? He followed this book with 'Are You Ready?: Much More Evidence that 1994 Could be the End of the World' The media give Camping’s view front-page coverage every time he opens his mouth because of his calculated prediction that Jesus will return on a specific date. They know he’ll be wrong."

Why would the Mass Media give Harold Camping such coverage as he spouted his false message? That fact alone should have given people pause for concern. The Mass Media hates genuine Christianity and will never allow a genuine preacher any kind of real coverage.

Since Harold Camping was totally wrong about the Rapture, the Bible labels him a false prophet whose prophecies did not come from God!

"And if you say in your minds and hearts, How shall we know which words the Lord has not spoken? When a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the word does not come to pass or prove true, that is a word which the Lord has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him." (Deuteronomy 18:21-22, Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified Bible Commentary).

In other words, if a man claims to be a prophet but his prophecy does not come true, that man is not speaking from God. He is either presumptuously speaking on his own or from promptings from Satan. We are instructed not to pay any attention to that so-called prophet!

When Camping is proven wrong again, he will discredit the Bible and the genuine belief in the Rapture of the Church. Scoffing unbelievers will have one more reason to not believe Jesus Christ or His Bible.

Do you remember the flap in 1988, when another false prophet, Edgar Whisenant, published a little book entitled, "88 Reasons Why the Rapture is in 1988"? Going back to The American Vision article, quoted above, we read:

"Camping sounds a lot like Edgar Whisenant who predicted that the rapture would take place in September 1988, a certainty that he backed up with his booklet 88 Reasons Why the Rapture is in 1988 and the claim “Only if the Bible is in error am I wrong; and I say that to every preacher in town.”[4] When the certainty of his prediction failed with the passing of September 1988, Whisenant, who worked as an engineer with NASA, claimed he had “made a slight miscalculation of one year because of a fluke in the Gregorian calendar. Jesus was actually going to return during Rosh Hashanah of 1989! Whisenant published his discovery in The Final Shout—Rapture Report 1989. ‘The time is short,’ he said. ‘Everything points to it.’ This publication was subsequently retitled 'The Final Shout—Rapture Report 1990 and has since been re-titled yearly as The Final Shout—Rapture Report 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994 and so o'n.In case you don’t know, it’s now 2010.

One eye-witness recalls his involvement in this false prediction.

NEWS BRIEF: "Rapture Occurred," Blog, December 7, 2009

"Back in 1988 while I was still in between wives, I was in a large Charismatic church in San Jose that was mostly singles. During that year there was a book out titled, "88 Reasons why the Rapture will be in 1988". Well, that little book took off like a wildfire in Northern California. The media kept talking about the upcoming Rapture. It went on and on, and everyone around here was caught up in it. The little white book said that the Rapture would take place after sunset on the eve of the day before Rosh Hashana, and the little book had about a hundred pages of biblical mathematics to back it up."

"... the little book had about a hundred pages of biblical mathematics to back it up."

"Anyway, that little book is still alive and doing well today, because Harold Camping of Family Radio that is based here in the San Francisco area in Oakland. Harold Camping teaches that on that very Rosh Hashana in 1988 the Church Age ended, so I must assume that the Rapture took place then also? Camping now uses the "rains"in the Bible more than the author of 88 Reasons.

What made 88 Reasons go over so well in this area was the mathematics of it. This is a high tech area."

Harold Camping claims his prediction is based upon infallible mathematics. It sounds like false prophets love to shove reams of supposed mathematics at a gullible public. May Dad used to say "Figures don't lie, but liars figure"!

What are the mathematics of Harold Camping and his prediction that the Rapture is going to occur on May 21, 2011?

NEWS BRIEF: "Judgment Day Is Coming, May 21, 20-11???," Tribulation Watch Newsletter, May 2011

"By Camping's understanding, the Bible was dictated by God and every word and number carries a special significance. He noticed that particular numbers appeared in the bible at the same time particular themes are discussed. The Number 5, Camping concluded, equals 'Atonement'. Ten is 'completeness'. Seventeen means 'heaven'.

"Camping patiently explained how he reached his conclusion for May 21, 2011.

"'Christ hung on the cross April 1, 33 AD ... now go to April 1, 2011 and that is 1,978 years'. Camping then multiplied 1,978 by 365.2422 days - the number of days in each solar year, not to be confused with a calendar year. Next, Camping noted that April 1 to May 21 encompasses 51 days. Add 51 to the sum of the previous multiplication total and it equals 722, 500. Camping realized that (5 x 10 x 17) x (5 x 10 x 17) = 722, 500. Or, to pout into words: (Atonement x Completeness x Heaven) squared."

This calculation seems "mumbo-jumbo" to me, and is in no way heavy enough to throw out all these Biblical warnings against listening to anyone who sets an exact day for the Rapture.

Since Harold Camping is an engineer by trade and not a Bible scholar, he obviously is not aware of THE ONE prophecy which gives us a reliable guide as to approximately when Antichrist will arise and the End of the Age can begin. That prophecy is Daniel 7:7-8.

Bible scholars have long called Antichrist the 'eleventh horn," based upon this verse. The occult has long assigned the number '11' to symbolize their coming Masonic Christ, another exciting instance to demonstrate that God's prophecy is driving world events.

Daniel 2:44 makes it quite clear that, just as God's final kingdom will cover the entire earth, the kingdom of the collective final 10 kings will encompass the whole world. Therefore, we are looking for the establishment of a worldwide final kingdom which numbers only 10 super-nations, symbolized as kings, or horns. Since there are nearly 200 different nations in the world today, what we should expect to see is a movement to group these nations together so that the final number equals precisely 10!

The Illuminati published just such a global reorganization plan in 1974 in a book entitled, "Mankind At The Turning Point." We posted an article explaining this exciting development in June, 1996, NEWS1002, entitled, "NAFTA: The Shocking Rest of the Story."

What is their collective grouping together of all nations of the world into exactly 10 nations?

10 SPHERES OF INFLUENCE -- INTERNATIONAL REORGANIZATION

1) North America
2) Western Europe
3) Japan
4) Australia, South Africa, and the rest of the market-economy of the developed world.
5) Eastern Europe, including Russia
6) Latin America
7) North Africa and the Middle East
8) Tropical Africa
9) South and Southeast Asia
10) China

This dramatic fulfillment of this prophecy looks like this

(NOTE: Please insert picture to be found as an attachment ’10 Nation Map’)

"Watch therefore, give strict attention and be cautious and active, for you know neither the day nor the hour when the Son of Man will come." (Matthew 25:13; Ibid)

These prophecies in Daniel are quite clear in predicting that the world in the last days of time, during the 7-year Tribulation Period, will be reorganized into 10 Super Nation States, or 10 Regions. This is a shocking revelation, since the world has been controlled by individual sovereign nations since the Tower of Babel 5,000 years ago. Today, there are over 170 sovereign nations in the world today. A new governmental structure is being silently erected over these 170+ sovereign nations Before our very eyes, a new government is being erected; this plan, originally published in 1974 in "Mankind At The Turning Point," is being implemented. And when it is finally implemented, it will fulfill this Biblical prophecy of 10 Nations at the End of the Age.

Therefore, you see, NAFTA is not simply an economic super nation; rather, it is the political Nation #1 of this 10 Nation New World Order. Very few people understand this, because they have been conditioned by our national leadership, aided by our national mass media. No one has ever explained this before. Now, you can understand why Presidents as seemingly dissimilar in world view, style and philosophy as Presidents George H.W. Bush and Clinton could support the creation of NAFTA. President George H.W. Bush began the push to create NAFTA, but was unable to see it created before he left office. President Clinton supported NAFTA, even though he opposed nearly every other thing for which Bush stood. The Clinton/Bush team pressured Congress to pass NAFTA in 1993.

Consider how privileged you have been to have seen fulfillment of Biblical prophecy that is 2,500 years old, fulfilled before your eyes, even though you had no idea at the time the significance of what was happening. This is but one example of Biblical prophecy being fulfilled by this Plan for the New World Order. Biblical prophecy states, in Revelation 17:12, that this reorganization will occur as the result of a conspiracy amongst the 10 rulers, for the express purpose of handing their newly acquired authority over to the Antichrist. Consider the exact wording,

"Also, the ten horns that you observed are ten rulers who have as yet received no royal dominion, but together they are to receive power and authority for a single hour, along with the beast {Antichrist is the "beast"}. These [rulers] have one common policy, and they deliver their power and authority to the beast." (Revelation 17:17; Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified Bible Commentary)

This Scripture absolutely screams "conspiracy"! God has placed the desire in the hearts and minds of these final 10 kings to create a "common policy", a common plan, which will fulfill God's prophecy exactly. This is the reason so many of the Illuminati Plans fulfill, or will fulfill, prophecy precisely. In fact, I pay no attention to a portion of their plan which does not fulfill prophecy, because I know it will never happen.

Now, let us examine Daniel 7:7-8 again for we shall see the sequence by which we can know with certainty the approximate time when the World War III designed to produce Antichrist is getting ready to explode.

Let us examine the relevant portion carefully:

".. I considered the horns, and behold, there came up among them another horn, a little one ..."

Please carefully notice the sequence here:

Step 1) Daniel saw in God's vision that the world's many nations had been reorganized into only 10, each one with a leader;

Step 2) After the 10 super-nations were formed, Antichrist arises!

Therefore, it should be a simple matter to determine whether the world is close to the appearance of Antichrist, or whether we are some years away. All we have to do is keep our minds focused on the formation of the Illuminati Plan for the 10 supernations. With this thought in mind, let us go to this reorganization plan to ascertain its progress.

Therefore, since only three of the planned supernations are in place, and since five of the remaining seven are only in the beginning stages of development, we can rest assured that the timetable for either the Rapture of the Church or the appearance of Antichrist is at least 5-10 away. Therefore, you may mark May 21, 2011, on your calendar as the one day when the Rapture will not occur.

There is one other principle that Bible scholars have taught for centuries:

God will never leave the world without a "witness" to Him and to His true salvation. From Moses to Jesus, the nation of Israel was God's witness; since Jesus arose, the Christian Church has been that witness. From Chapter 4 of the Book of Revelation, the Church is not mentioned, while the focus returns to the nation of Israel.

Therefore, God is unlikely to Rapture the Church very long before the 7-year Tribulation Period begins. The Bible is very clear as to when that period begins.

"And he shall enter into a strong and firm covenant with the many for one week [seven years]. And in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and offering to cease for the remaining three and one-half years ... " (Daniel 9:27; Parallel Bible, KJV/Amplified Bible Commentary)

Therefore, the Christian Church will likely be raptured out of this world shortly before Antichrist confirms the covenant with Israel's leaders.
