In addressing the Republican Platform we need to look at some of the beliefs that are stated in that platform that are not addressed in the Democrat platform. I bring this up because of the simple actions of the people that support the Democrat Party as well as the actions of the Party’s elite. Supported of the Democrat Party have no problem burning our flag and allowing droves of people into this nation that hate us and want to destroy us.

The preamble of the Republican Platform lists the principles that they believe unite us as a nation. The very first principle listed is ‘We believe in American Exceptionalism’.[1] Compare that to the action of Barack Obama since the day he took office. He has blamed America for most of the world’s problems and degraded the accomplishments of all Americans. The Republican Platform goes on to state: ‘We believe in the Constitution as our founding document. We believe the Constitution was written not as a flexible document, but as our enduring covenant. We believe our constitutional system — limited government, separation of powers, federalism, and the rights of the people — must be preserved uncompromised for future generations.’[2] Liberal, i.e. Democrat, judges believe that the Constitution is a flexible document that changes as society changes when in reality our Founders believed that the Constitution was like the covenant that God made with Abraham. That covenant has never changed and our Constitution, in reality, has never changed except at the whim of liberal, progressive Democrats.

Republicans, for the most part, still believe that the power of the federal government comes from the people. This is how the Founders set up our government. ‘We believe that people are the ultimate resource — and that the people, not the government, are the best stewards of our country’s God-given natural resources.’[3] This also alludes to the fact that Democrats for years have banned Americans from accessing the natural resources God gave us and forcing us to rely on energy from people who hate us. This is putting money in the pockets of third world nations that engage in terrorism against us and redistributing the wealth of Americans.

Ronald Reagan exhibited that America does desire peace with all nations but was smart enough to know that there is evil out there and that the only way to deter them was to have a great military strength, not just for use, if and when needed, but to let our enemies know that if they mess with us it will be to their detriment. The Republican Platform states: ‘As Americans and as Republicans we wish for peace — so we insist on strength. We will make America safe. We seek friendship with all peoples and all nations, but we recognize and are prepared to deal with evil in the world.[4] This is peace through strength. Our current president has done the exact opposite. I believe that he has intentionally depleted our military for a reason. Our enemy, islam, only responds to strength and Obama has exhibited nothing but weakness. He has depleted our military to pre-WWII levels which is a dangerous position considering the rise is militant islam throughout the world.

Britain, France, Denmark, Sweden and other nations are trying to be politically correct in dealing with islam but this will only result in the destruction of their culture and the establishment of an islamic state. Islam’s intent for America is the same and a Hillary presidency will give them that but a Trump presidency will not allow that. Keep in mind that the founder of CAIR, the Council On American and Islamic Relations stated: “Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominate, the quran, the muslim book of scripture, should be the highest authority in America, and islam the only accepted religion on Earth.” We need a president that believes our religion and culture is above any other imported ideology and believes in America first in ALL things. We only have one choice.

Democrats stated in their platform that they believed that small business was the source of jobs in America even though their candidate stated that we should not believe Republicans when we say that small businesses create jobs. This is what happens when you have a candidate that has never run a business, had to make payroll and has never actually experienced the business world. We saw what incompetence does in that field with Barack Obama, we don’t need another four years of inexperience with the economy. The Republicans have addressed this issue with policies that come from a person who has created thousands of jobs in several hundred businesses that he owns and has run very successfully for years.

He knows how the economy works and how businesses need to work. On page one of the Republican platform they address one of the biggest problems in business today, taxes. We have the highest corporate tax rates in the world, which is why businesses AND jobs are moving to other countries with much lower tax rates. The Republican Platform reads: “Fair and Simple Taxes for Growth – Republicans consider the establishment of a pro-growth tax code a moral imperative. More than any other public policy, the way government raises revenue — how much, at what rates, under what circumstances, from whom, and for whom — has the greatest impact on our economy’s performance. It powerfully influences the level of economic growth and job creation, which translates into the level of opportunity for those who would otherwise be left behind. Getting our tax system right will be the most important factor in driving the entire economy back to prosperity.”[5]

Knowing that high taxes loses jobs and businesses to other countries the Republicans want to keep businesses and jobs in America and bring back the jobs and businesses that have left. Their intent is to lower the corporate tax, lower the capital gains tax, lower taxes for the individuals and eliminate the so-called Death Tax. Democrats on the other hand have nothing but tax increases for businesses, increase the capital gains from 23.8% to 43.4%, increase taxes on the individual and increase the Death Tax from 48% to 65%. I still have to question why the government believes it is entitled to 65% of your estate just because you died? Why doesn’t the family qualify to get the wealth that you accumulated through your life?

The Democrats go even further on the taxes and support a new Soda Tax Hike like the one imposed by Philadelphia that will add $2.16 per 12-pack. They support a 25% National Gun Tax AND the doubling of the Federal Excise Tax on guns. Democrats are also looking to add a Carbon Tax.[6]

One of the things that regulates America’s economy is the Federal Reserve. It isn’t Federal at all. It is controlled by big European Banks. This is America’s economy and should be 100% controlled by America. The Republican Platform addresses this in a manner in which we can begin to regain the control over our economy that was given away by Democrat Woodrow Wilson. On page 7 of the Platform it reads: “Because the Federal Reserve’s monetary policy decisions affect job creation, upward mobility for workers, and equitable prosperity, they should be transparent. Similarly, the Federal Reserve’s important role as a lender of last resort should also be carried out in a more transparent manner.

The Republican Party will advance legislation that brings transparency and accountability to the Federal Reserve, the Federal Open Market Committee, and the Federal Reserve’s dealing with foreign banks. The first step is through an annual audit of the Federal Reserve’s activities.”[7] All efforts to audit the Federal Reserve have been shut down. It has NEVER been audited and I believe that it has been a major avenue used to redistribute the wealth of America. This needs to be exposed and needs to be stopped and even the elimination the Federal Reserve should be addressed.

Our Founders intended for men of character to be placed into positions of authority. They believed that if we did this we would always be a strong, sovereign nation. Our first Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court, John Jay stated: “Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty, as well as the privilege and interest, of our Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers.” This is the key to keeping what our Founders gave us and was reaffirmed by Noah Webster: “In selecting men for office, let principle be your guide. Regard not the particular sect or denomination of the candidate — look to his character. When a citizen gives his suffrage to a man of known immorality he abuses his trust; he sacrifices not only his own interest, but that of his neighbor; he betrays the interest of his country.” The character of the last president is pathetic at best. The character of Hillary Clinton is no doubt even worse. The Republican nominee is not perfect but he love America more than himself and that is a sign of good character.
