This past week residents in the LA downtown area were alarmed at what appeared to be military training exercises up close:
“WTF Is Going On In Downtown LA?”: Army War Drills Continue Across Los Angeles
“Having started on Monday, the US Army continues its war drills across the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area through Saturday with the goal of enhancing Army Special Forces skills by “operating in urban environments”, Army Special Operations Command said in a statement.
“Residents around Los Angeles may hear sounds associated with the field training exercise, including helicopters and weapon simulations, according to the statement.
“The local terrain and training facilities in Los Angeles provide the Army with unique locations and simulates urban environments the service members may encounter when deployed overseas,” the Army told CBS.
“Downtown Los Angeles residents were shocked Monday night when a fleet of Boeing A/MH-6M Little Bird and Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters swooped in around them.”
Really? Urban warfare overseas? Why would we be once again sticking our military in countries where we have no business conducting urban warfare or invasions? And, pray tell, what urban area in what country are they training for that looks like downtown LA? Kabul, Afghanistan or Mosul, Iraq?
Back in 2015 the Army conducted one of their Homeland Security exercises called Jade Helm. All hell broke loose on the Internet with some like Dave Hodges who runs a web site called The Commonsense Show proclaiming this was it, martial law was on the horizon! Man your bunkers! It got so bad, even our governor here in Texas got gob smacked and fell for the junk on the Internet – all according to “my highly-placed sources tell me” come-on.
We May Finally Know What JADE HELM Has Stood For All Along – That the name might be an acronym is only part of what’s odd about this year’s iteration of the controversial special operations training exercise.
“Two years after the U.S. Special Operations Command’s (SOCOM) Jade Helm training exercise inflamed conspiracy theorists, prompted Texas to order its state guard to monitor federal troops, and otherwise became a national news story, the latest iteration of the event has come and gone with little acknowledgement of any kind from the U.S. government or the public.”
I do encourage you to read that column – especially if you’re one of those who got sucked in by all the hype. The internal link about inflamed conspiracy theorists should also be read as it also explains a great deal about military training exercises.
I was so flabbergasted over all the hype regarding Jade Helm I did a piece on it: Jade Helm Will Be In My Town Next Week – Do take the time to read it as a rebuttal to the hysteria pumped by talk show hosts and web sites:
“On April 30, 2015, Dave Hodges, posted this: Closed Walmarts To Be Guerilla Warfare Staging Areas in Response to Invasion
“There can be no doubt that the internal events at Walmart holds the key to the end game of Jade Helm operations. Jade Helm and Walmart are inextricably linked and the existing evidence suggests one of two possible end game probabilities for Jade Helm.
“1. Converted Walmart stores will be processing centers for FEMA camp political prisoners.
“2. Some Walmarts will be used as supply and staging centers for an internal conflict within the United States
“In the past four weeks, I have watched over 100 videos on Jade Helm and Walmart. I have performed what researchers call a qualitative, or a descriptive analysis of the available facts. In performing this task, I have looked for patterns among the recent Walmart closings because it is clear that the closings coincide with Jade Helm. This constitutes Phase One of the analysis. In Phase Two, the findings from phase one are correlated to known or strongly suspected events connected to Jade Helm and/or other areas of concern related to national security. Subsequently, this kind of descriptive analysis can yield strong clues as to the true intent of where Jade Helm is headed and what the Walmart role consistes of in conjunction with Jade Helm.”
I can tell you nothing happened here in my town during the exercises except quite a bit of revenue for local businesses. No invasion by the UN or FEMA doing round-ups that was being hawked with screeching and dire warnings.
I’ve been inside the Midland, TX Wal Mart several times. It was closed for months. Another old unit that needed fixing just like the Walmart here in my town that needs an overhaul. Not because I needed to buy anything but because I was looking. I saw NOTHING that would support that WalMart as being set up for conversion to a FEMA processing center.
There was also a Jade Helm 2017 exercise. Funny thing I didn’t see all the dire warnings about that one plastered all over the Internet.
First of all, I would venture to say that the majority of individuals out there screeching about martial law being imposed at the drop of a pin have ZERO understanding of the subject matter. I did not know the true meaning of martial law or even if it’s legal until I read Dr. Edwin Vieira’s constitutional analysis:

I highly recommend everyone read that column and this one because if we the people are ever going to defeat our domestic enemies, WE ALL must understand what things like martial law actually means or doesn’t:

Edwin was kind enough to send me a copy of By Tyranny Out of Necessity: The Bastardy of “Martial Law” which I personally gave to our Sheriff; living in a small town does have advantages. I purchased another copy for myself and read it cover to cover. Now I understand what I did not know.
As far as these current urban warfare exercises, I happen to believe things are so bad in this country and getting worse by the day it’s very possible we’ll see large-scale outbreaks of violence.

SANTA FE, N.M. – “New Mexico’s governor, arguing there is not an “overwhelming national security crisis,” withdrew the majority of National Guard troops deployed at the state’s southern border Tuesday.
“Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s announcement came shortly before the start of President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address.
“Lujan Grisham, a Democrat, also announced she would send more help to Hidalgo County — one of the state’s three border counties — to assist with humanitarian needs.”
Not an overwhelming national security crisis? How STUPID are the voters of New Mexico to put yet another witless politician in office just because she’s a Latino and has female plumbing? As for humanitarian needs, illegal aliens are the ones who have created this problem and the only way to stop it is with walls and cutting off all public welfare which no member of Congress is interested in doing despite my best efforts.

Going back to the current military urban warfare training, the reason I’m not shocked or surprised is because of something I wrote back on Sept. 22, 2008:

Where did this come from? …..
“Further into this shocking story: “…Major Reeves notes, when faced with violating doctrine or violating the law, some Marines chose the latter course and detained suspects and conducted warrant less searches. Indeed, with characteristic Marine Corps bluntness, the major states that, “in interviews with Marine officers involved in domestic peacekeeping missions with officers responsible for articulating the Marine Corps’ policy on domestic peacekeeping, it became apparent to the author that Marines took whatever action was necessary. At times, these actions required Marines to violate U.S. law.

Guy Miner reported in the Gazette that Marine intelligence units were initially worried by the need to collect intelligence on U.S. citizens, which would violate a 1981 Executive Order, but that “this inhibition was quickly overcome….” And to chill you even further, “To enable the Marines to execute these new domestic missions in the same way that they do abroad, Major Reeves calls for major alternations in U.S. laws. “Experience from the Los Angeles riots,” he warns, “demonstrated the need to grant U.S. Marine forces the legal right to detain vehicles and suspects, conduct arrests, searches and seizures in order to accomplish the peacekeeping mission.”
“Go ahead, print out the newspaper and read it. If this doesn’t give you the daytime version of pavor nocturnus, then you don’t grasp the severity of the problem. We are seeing more and more domestic spying on Americans, no knock searches killing innocent people, warrant less searches on flimsy probable cause and ‘civilian check points’ on our roads and highways. The misnamed ‘Patriot Act’ continues to be abused by federal dragoons. This is NOT the America thousands spilled their blood for on the battle fields during the Revolutionary War.”
I believe, while touted as “the US Army continues its war drills across the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area through Saturday with the goal of enhancing Army Special Forces skills by “operating in urban environments at Homeland Security exercises”, the powers that be do expect at some time major outbreaks of what one might call civil war.
Between the growing population of Muslims who should never have been allowed in this country (America needs to truly understand Islam’s mission of world domination) to militant Mexicans who have entered illegally to ‘re-conquer’ the border states to domestic terrorist operations like ANTIFA, somewhere down the line the first shots are going to be fired. Not to mention vicious MS-13 gangs and drug cartels moving in along the border, there is a growing threat to OUR security.
One can only pray it doesn’t happen but with these factions and their deep-rooted hatred of all that is America, something will give and that’s why I believe these urban warfare exercises put on by Homeland Security are taking place.
Unless, and I pray NOT, President Trump once again listens to the toxic advice being given to him, we decide to stick our military might into Venezuela for some urban warfare. God, I hope that doesn’t happen.
In the meantime, how many more Americans were robbed, raped or murdered during the government shut down while Pelosi was vacationing in Hawaii ($900 bux a night for her room)? The shut-down ended January 23rd.
