Almost every time I write an article or do a radio program I always get asked the question of can we save America? That is a good question. Many answer their own question by stating that they believe that we have gone too far and we are beyond the point of no return. I can understand why they feel that way. Sometimes things look totally hopeless. After the 2008 election the Republicans were in a position in Congress where they couldn’t stop the Democrats from doing whatever they wanted. And the Democrats went to town. Obamacare, reversing the Mexico City policy, funding abortions all over the world, like it was the responsibility of the American taxpayer to pay for the world’s abortions. The Hate Crimes Bill which makes preaching the Gospel illegal because it offends people who aren’t smart enough to know what sex they are.
We see that Congress pretty much has ignored the Constitution. Obama is disappointed that the Supreme Court has “stayed within the boundaries of the Constitution concerning wealth redistribution.” He has ignored constitutional process and bypassed Congress on more than one occasion and Congress simply grumbles but they do nothing. Even Congressmen have stated that they pay no attention to the Constitution when writing laws. The most valuable document ever devised by man and our elected officials pay no attention to it. This last week a Supreme Court Justice that traveled to Egypt to talk to students about how to write a constitution stated: "I would not look to the U.S. Constitution, if I were drafting a constitution in the year 2012," Ginsburg said in an interview on Al Hayat television last Wednesday. "I might look at the constitution of South Africa. That was a deliberate attempt to have a fundamental instrument of government that embraced basic human rights, have an independent judiciary. It really is, I think, a great piece of work that was done."

This is a statement from one who has sworn to uphold the Constitution yet has publically admitted that she and four other Justices have used international law to decide cases violating their oath yet not one Congressman has demanded impeachment. The announcement of using international law was made while Bush was president and he never did anything either. It is like no one cares about following the Constitution any more.
The big controversy over Obama’s eligibility has not created much interest from either party and that is very troubling on several levels. First is the probability of a foreign citizen holding the highest office in our nation in violation of our Constitution. Obama has stated that his father Barrack Obama Sr. was a British subject. Even though Obama was born in Hawaii, his father was a British subject. Under British law that automatically makes Obama a British citizen. Proof: 1948 British Nationality Act – Part II Section 5 states; 5.—(1) Subject to the provisions of this section, a person born after the commencement of this Act shall be a citizen of the United Kingdom and Colonies by descent if his father is a citizen of the United Kingdom and Colonies at the time of the birth. In other words, Any British subject having a child anywhere in America mandates that the child is a British subject and not a citizen of the United States. Obama Sr. was from British East Africa Protectorate, a British Commonwealth. There are many problems with his so-called birth certificate. It states in the 1961 certificate that Obama Sr. was born in Kenya, but Kenya wasn’t named such until 1963, two years after Obama Jr’s. birth. If my parents were U.S. citizens and I was born in Italy, I would still be a U.S. citizen not an Italian citizen.
This brings up the second problem that Congress ignores. The ‘birth certificate’ that the White House has released shows the name of the hospital as Kapi’olani Medical Center for Women and Children. The problem is that name was not adopted until 1978, seventeen years after Obama was born. Plus a person acquainted with Fireworks can ‘unlayer’ this document showing that date and signatures have been overlaid and changed.
Thirdly, Barracks mother remarried to a man named Lolo Sotoro who adopted Barrack and made him an Indonesian citizen, which means he had to forfeit his U.S. citizenship. He never reapplied for a United States citizenship. He even attended Columbia University on a foreign student loan.
Now think about this, if I can find this out, why can’t Congress find it out and act on it? The need to have elected officials act according to the will of the people, represent the people and uphold the Constitution is paramount today. Recently 93 of 100 Senators voted for the NDAA which blatantly violates our 5th Amendment. All of the Senate needs to be replaced. Part of the Federal government’s constitutional responsibilities is to protect American citizens from invasion and domestic terrorism. No president since Eisenhower has enforced immigration laws. We have hundreds of square miles on our southern border that is unsafe for U.S. citizens to travel through and the federal government simply posts signs to keep you out of land you have the right to visit. The feds have even sold guns to drug cartels in an attempt to create a ‘manufactured’ situation for them to be able to gain more control over our rights as citizens to buy and own guns.
Our Founders were quite clear on the necessity for elected officials to be men of high character, high morals and honesty. Andrew Jackson stated: “As long as our government is administered for the good of the people, and is regulated by their will; as long as it secures to us the rights of persons and of property, liberty of conscience and of the press, it will be worth defending.” Benjamin Franklin stated: "...I think with you , that nothing is of more importance for the public wealth, than to form and train up youth in wisdom and virtue. Wise and good men are, in my opinion, the strength of the state; more so than riches or arms...
I think also, that a general virtue is more probably to be expected and obtained from the education of youth, than from the exhortation of adult persons;” He also stated: "This will be the best security for maintaining our liberties. A nation of well-informed men who have been taught to know and prize the rights which God has given them cannot be enslaved. It is in the religion of ignorance that tyranny begins." Charles Caroll stated: “Without morals a republic cannot subsist any length of time; they, therefore, who are decrying the Christian religion, whose morality is so sublime and pure (and) which insures to the good eternal happiness, are undermining the solid foundation of morals, the best security for the duration of free governments.” George Washington was adamant about character. He stated: “Associate with men of good quality if you esteem your own reputation; for it is better to be alone than in bad company.”, and “I hope I shall always possess firmness and virtue enough to maintain what I consider the most enviable of all titles, the character of an "Honest Man."”, he also stated: “Reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle.”
Our courts from the Supreme Court to local courts regularly ignore constitutional process as well. One thing most people are not aware of is the courts have jurisdiction only over what the legislature passes and the governor/president signs into law. They have no jurisdiction over what is voted on by the people! Just recently the Supreme of California overturned the vote of the people concerning Proposition 8. That court doesn’t even have jurisdiction in the case! NO COURT DOES! The same thing happened in Colorado with the same subject, gay marriage, and the courts overturned the vote of the people. Our governor didn’t do anything and ‘moonbeam’ Brown won’t do anything either. It is time that the people rise up and demand that the Constitution be followed and if the elected officials won’t do that, impeach them.
We have allowed our elected officials to run roughshod over our Constitution and us for far too long. It is time that we stood up and said ‘Enough is Enough!’ We have a constitutional process that the Founders established and followed and we have to get back to it if we are going to keep America the greatest nation on earth. We need to get rid of the five Supreme Court Justices that refuse to abide by the oath they swore to uphold and all other so-called justices that have done similar things. We need to expose and then impeach the illegal alien in the White House and then nullify every law that he signed. We need to have elected officials that follow the Constitution when writing laws and verify with each bill proposed where in the Constitution it says this is allowed.

The only reason this nation grew to be the most powerful, prosperous and free nation this world has ever seen is because the Founders and those that followed adhered to the blueprint the Founders established, the Constitution. We cannot continue to stay the greatest nation if we ignore what made us great. When we look at the history of Israel we see that they would move away from God and began chasing after the gods of the people whom they conquered and soon they were no longer prosperous, they experienced famines. They had wars on all sides and soon went into captivity. We are going down that same road. We have allowed the foundations of this nation to be ignored by those that are more interested in personal gain than the welfare of the nation. Their stupidity lies in the fact that if this nation falls, their personal gain goes with it. If the nation prospers then the people prosper. Our Founders would not even recognize the nation they founded 236 years ago. We have turned into a welfare state. We no longer lead the world in education, manufacturing, farming. We do lead the world in the amount of our citizens that we have in prisons. Benjamin Rush declared "By removing the Bible from schools we would be wasting so much time and money in punishing criminals and so little pains to prevent crime. Take the Bible out of our schools and there would be an explosion in crime." We lead the world in abortions. We use to lead the world in education but we are 26th now behind almost all industrial nations.
Can I claim that all of this is because we no longer follow our Constitution? Yes! John Adams stated “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is of no value to any other.” Our leaders, for the most part, are not moral any more. When a nation loses its moral foundation it will no longer be able to follow the proper path. Other things will draw it away from where it is supposed to go. Homosexual marriage is being shoved down America’s throat by State legislatures and courts, who have no right to demand that states adopt those laws. The legislature in Massachusetts won’t even allow the people to vote on it.
Abortions are creating ethnic genocide with the black population and black legislators demand that abortion be available for any reason. Our welfare state rewards those that have children outside of marriage and punishes those that try to stay together and make a go of the marriage. Should the government be party to the destruction of the foundation of society which is the family? No! The government should do all it can to maintain that foundation and reward that. By following something other than what our Founders established, we are laying the foundation for our own destruction. And that destruction is coming at a breakneck pace.

Can we save America? Yes. Will it be easy? No! Can we do it in a couple of years? No. It took us 75 years to get where we are. If we make no attempt to reverse our course we will not last another 5 years. But if we are determined, we can stop the decline and bring America back from the brink. It will take us getting involved in our political process to right what has gone wrong. We have to take on the mindset of ‘I want to give my children and grandchildren a better America than what I was given by my parents.’ The time has come to for us to take a stand. Patrick Henry stated: “Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect everyone who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are inevitably ruined.” I will not be asked by my children or grandchildren “Why didn’t you do something to save America?” I stand with Patrick Henry who also stated: “I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty, or give me death.”
