America has always operated under a two party system. From the Founding unto today they have evolved into a single system that seems to be moving towards the same goal, the removal of our Constitution and the elimination of our Bill of Rights.
This may sound extreme but when you look at the facts there is no other conclusion. I have watched the political theater in America turn into something that I never dreamed. We think that there are two distinct parties that care more about our Constitution and the rights it gives the people than anything else but what we have seen, especially over the last 15 years, is a government that take more and more of our rights away from us demanding more and more control over our lives and everything we do.
One Party, The Democrat Party, has approximately 70 of its members that are card carrying members of the Democrat Socialists of America. ( If you want a full list send me an email and I will give you the list as of 2010.) Some of the members are very well known. These members are: Hon. Raul M. Grijalva (AZ-07), Hon. Keith Ellison (MN-05) (also a Muslim), Hon. Sheila Jackson-Lee (TX-18), Hon. Dennis Kucinich (OH-10) lost his bid for re-election in 2012, Hon. Alan Grayson (FL-08), Hon. John Conyers (MI-14), Hon. Barney Frank (MA-04), Hon. Luis Gutierrez (IL-04), Hon. Alcee Hastings (FL-23), Hon. Jesse Jackson, Jr. (IL-02), Hon. Jared Polis (CO-02), Hon. Charles Rangel (NY-15), Hon. Jared Polis (CO-02), Hon. Charles Rangel (NY-15), and Hon. Henry Waxman (CA-30). All of these and all of the rest, save one are of the Democrat Party in the House of Representatives. Bernie Sanders, an Independent, is the single member in the Senate.
We have seen these people as heads of very powerful committees in Congress guiding the direction of America to the far left ignoring the will of the people. The 2008 election gave the Democrats the majority in both Houses so that even if all the Republicans voted against a bill, as they did with the Affordable Healthcare Act, and they couldn't stop anything. The election of 2010 gave the Republicans the control of the House but the leadership of John Beohner is anything but competent. He has not done much about spending, tax hikes, and his compromising on everything from the debt ceiling and immigration reform is nothing less than a slap in the face to the American people.
We don't need immigration reform, we need immigration enforcement and border security. It isn't that complicated. We can afford to ship them all back. With what illegal immigrants cost the US taxpayer the cost of shipping them back would be saved the first year plus leave plenty on the table. Now we are looking at a 'pathway to citizenship' for all those that have broken the law. Why reward them with citizenship? They are taking much needed jobs from legal citizens! Who is Beohner representing, citizens or illegals?
When we look at the Senate I can only see one person that is worth anything even though I'm not a big fan of his either and that is Senator Rand Paul. His ideals lean too far towards the libertarian views which his father holds and most of those views can't hold America together and are too dangerous to implement. He does have a few very good ideas that are much needed. But what we saw a couple of weeks ago concerning the NDAA was nothing less than treasonous, in my opinion. 98 members voted for the bill, two didn't vote, Kirk, a Republican from IL and Rockefeller and Democrat from WV. This bill is dangerous on many levels which I will cover extensively on my radio program in a couple of weeks, but the main aspect that is disturbing to the core is the fact that an American citizen can be arrested, held without the benefit of counsel, nor be charged with anything, indefinitely. This is a blatant violation of our 4th and 5th Amendments and even Rand Paul voted for it. In the Senate there is no difference in the two Party's ultimate goals. No real American that loves the Constitution would vote for a bill that would violate the rights of the people. Benjamin Franklin warned us about trading freedom for security: "They that can give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety." Our Senate seems unaware of this danger.
In another disaster from the Senate was the confirmation of John Kerry for Secretary of State. During the 2004 Presidential election he was exposed as the liar that he is. His swift boat buddies exposed his lies about how he 'won' his medals. His trip to meet with the Viet Cong while still in the service without the approval of his superior officers are grounds for treason yet none of this was brought up and during the confirmation hearings. He was confirmed 94-3. Three Republicans voted against him. How can anyone who has a genuine love for America allow this man to hold any position in our government?
Looking at Congress in general where are they when Obama does an end around Congress concerning the Dream Act. Obama is operating as a dictator with his executive orders and Congress does nothing to try to stop him. They just let him run rough shod over the Constitution at his discretion unabated. His Department of Justice head, Eric Holder has decided that there are some of our laws he will enforce and some he won't because he feels they are not constitutional and you don't even hear a peep out of Congress.
We used to be a nation of laws and our Congress' and our Presidents adhered to them and demanded that our laws be upheld. Rep. Pete Stark out of CA was caught on video tape stating that when Congress passed laws they 'paid no attention to the Constitution when doing so'. How long can we stay a free strong nation when ore so-called leaders ignore our laws and do whatever they want. Obama feels like he has a mandate to do whatever he wants simply because he was we-elected. Both Party's seem to forget that they were elected to represent the will of the people not their personal agenda.
There has been a lot of talk lately about Marco Rubio as a presidential candidate. Fox News reported during the last Presidential campaign that he was on the short list for V.P. I don't know whether this was ever verified but there is a constitutional requirement that the President and vice-President be 'natural born citizens'. In the 1875 Supreme Court case of Minor vs Happerset the definition of 'natural born citizen' was addressed for about the 6th time in Supreme Court history and it was defined as someone who was born whose both parents were citizens at the time of his birth. This being the case neither of Rubio's parents were citizens when he was born. They eventually did become citizens but because they weren't at the time of his birth he will never be eligible to hold that office. Understand that there is no other conclusion that Obama is not eligible either as his father, Barack Obama Sr., was a British citizen and according to British law, Barry is also a British citizen. J.B. Williams has an excellent article covering this here. Even with this obvious evidence Congress has virtually done nothing to clarify Obama's origin. All of Obama 's records are sealed and nothing can be verified. This is not how America operates when there are just men in authority. Proverbs 29:2 says "When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice, but when the wicked beareth rule, the people morn."
If we are to stay the strong nation we were founded as we must get back to what made us great. We have to elect people who will adhere to our Constitution. We need people with backbone and no personal agendas that will represent the people as our Founders had intended. When we followed the principles laid out by the Founders we rose to be the greatest, most powerful and prosperous and generous nation the world has ever seen. We have been declining at an exponential rate over the last 50 years because we have gone away from those values our Founders lived by.

It is now up to us to return America to its proper place. There are those that just complain about what we have become, but do nothing turn us around. These people will never get anything done but complain. Then there are those that are willing to get their hands dirty and fight for our nation. Expend resources and energy to right the wrongs and expose the corruption. What side are you on. Will you let things happen or will you make things happen? I don't intend to watch America stay in the free fall that it is in without doing something to stop it. I will do what I can to inform and encourage those who are willing to do something. We can't sit back and watch reruns of Dallas while America is in death throws. We have to do something. What will you do?
