ARE WE ELECTING PEOPLE WITH INTEGRITY?

Our nation was founded by men who took personal character very seriously. In their writings they referred to it often. "A...virtuous citizen will regard his own country as a wife, to whom he is bound to be exclusively faithful and affectionate; and he will watch...every propensity of his heart to wander towards a foreign country, which he will regard as a mistress that may pervert his fidelity." –Alexander Hamilton; "[T]he only foundation for a useful education in a republic is to be laid in religion. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." – John Adams; "Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost." - John Quincy Adams. If a person has no integrity there should be no place for him in any public office.
In the last 75 years we have allowed people with very questionable character into public office at all levels. Even Woodrow Wilson was a racist, and I don’t use that term as loosely as it is typically used today. We had a integrated military when he took office and he segregated it. Am I saying that all people in public office have been perfect? Absolutely not but when a person is a blatant in his lack of character as Bill Clinton was and still is, Hillary Clinton with her string of corruption, William Jefferson (D) LA, Alcee Hastings (D) FL. All Republicans haven’t been angels either but when they are exposed they resign from office. Democrats don’t seem to care what kind of vermin they put into office. William Jefferson (D) LA was on trial for receiving a bribe, it was on video, and he was re-elected during the trial. Alcee Hastings (D) FL was a judge who was removed from the bench for the same reason but ran for the House and was elected. Amoral people would not have allowed him to run at all.
As a Christian nation the most important qualities in dealing with God is integrity. You can hide what you have done from man but not from God. Our Founders knew that and lived exceptional lives. Even in the church we don’t see a whole lot of integrity. Any church that embraces homosexuality, abortion, divorce and people living together is not acting in integrity. Most people would never know that their neighbor is a Christian because they live more like the world than like a Christian should. So many politicians, especially in the Democrat party that espouse Christianity but when you really look at it, no Christian can belong to the Democrat Party. This party is for virtually everything God is against! They don’t just support but demand that we accept homosexual ‘marriage’, abortion at any time for any reason; even at their convention in 2014 they booed God!
As this election cycle comes around we need to put to use the principles that our Founders used in selecting those we place in positions of authority. We must consider the candidates position on many things. If they oppose traditional marriage, they cannot be counted as one of integrity. If they support abortion for any other reason than the health of the mother, they cannot be considered. If they are willing to sacrifice our rights and freedoms so that foreigners can bring their form of government to America and I am referring to allowing for shariah law to be practiced, then they should be charged with treason because the ultimate goal of shariah is to replace the established government with shariah. Governor Christy from New Jersey has a close relationship with muslims and has put them on the bench in his state. They will end up backdooring shariah in their courts. Even Lindsay Graham has demanded that Ben Carson apologize for saying he wouldn’t vote for a muslim for president. Shelia Jackson Lee said it was racist to be against shariah law. This woman is so incompetent she doesn’t even know that under shariah law she could hold the position she holds and that she would be considered nothing more than a piece of property.
None of the candidates are perfect but there are none in the Democrat Party that any Christian can vote for. Consider this, in Hamtramck, MI they just voted in their city council, it is 100% muslim![1] This town will soon have shariah zones, dogs will be outlawed as pets and women will be required to be covered. They have done this in France and in the UK and the local law enforcement does nothing about these gross violations of the constitutional rights of the people. The Democrats and too many Republicans refuse to defund Planned Parenthood for selling aborted baby’s body parts even though they are on video stating that they do that and even though it is against the law!
Bernie Sanders believes that the government should pay for everything and that we should give up 90% or our income to pay for it. If we gave up 100% of our income and corporations gave up 100% of their earnings that still wouldn’t pay for half of what he wants to hand out. No socialist government has ever been successful, ever! The USSR is gone, Venezuela is in shambles, Cuba has never been prosperous, Greece has crumbled into anarchy and this is the system that both front runners in the Democrat Party want to establish in America which is the opposite of the type of nation that the Founders gave us. All of this is the result of the American people not paying attention to who they put in office.
After WWII an incident occurred in Athens, Tennessee that we need to pay attention to. A city was rife with corruption and veterans decided that enough was enough.

You can see a short 13 minute movie about it here: This situation was the very reason the Founders gave us the 2nd Amendment which Hillary has stated that she will remove as President, who is sworn to uphold our Constitution not attach it. Even Obama attacks our 2nd Amendment rights but only when a white person shoots a black person. If a black shoots a white person or a muslim shoots anyone he says nothing. We can’t afford another President that that selectively enforces laws that he likes at the time and ignores ones that he doesn’t like at all.
We are supposed to have a representative government but we aren’t electing people who represent the values of the majority of Americans. This will be our downfall if we continue to go down this road.
