JUST WHO IS MICHAEL STEELE?

By Betty Freauf

I first became aware of Michael Steele when he appeared as a guest on the FOX network, and suddenly he was running for national GOP chairman. Like Democrat President Jimmy Carter and Democrat President Barack Obama who both claimed to be Christians and “outsiders,” Michael Steele virtually came out of nowhere. One of his first missteps was when he failed to explain what popular radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh meant when he said he hoped Barack (policies) would fail. Steele’s response was to accuse Rush of being incendiary, ugly and simply an “entertainer.” The gloves came off and foofaraw followed and remained until the AIG contractual bonuses came to light and Senator Barney Frank said it looked as though incompetence is being rewarded but where is the outrage about the federal and state public employees retiring as millionaires? Why aren’t they on unemployment lines? The federal government is hiring –all Democrats, no doubt.

Popinjay James Carville, former Democratic campaign field marshal for Bill Clinton, is always ready to unleash his “scorched earth” tactics that he and his Democrat media use against their foes and he was active in keeping the pot boiling over Limbaugh and Steele. I’ve always been perplexed when supposedly conservative channels like FOX give Carville’s wife, Mary Matlin, a platform and shouldn’t we question why George W. Bush chose Carville’s bed partner as a special adviser to Bush and Cheney? I guess that’s called Fair and Balanced.

Steele next came under fire by social conservatives for telling GQ magazine that abortion is an “individual choice” and homosexuality is not. Later Steele issued a statement saying he has always been pro-life and supports a constitutional amendment to overturn Roe v. Wade.

Steele also disputed the view that being homosexual is a lifestyle choice. “I don’t think I’ve ever really subscribed to that view that you can turn it on and off like a water tap…You just can’t simply say, oh, like ‘Tomorrow morning I’m gonna stop being gay.’ It’s like saying ‘Tomorrow morning I’m gonna stop being black,” explained Steele. Ironically, some of the strongest opponents of the homosexual community piggybacking on the Civil Rights movement have been blacks.

Steele has been beaten up pretty badly so it is not my intention to belabor his gaffes further. Perhaps he thought being elected the national GOP chairman would be a piece of cake. I agree with Beverly Eakman that the party is over. The Democrats are in control and if any one thinks they are going to give up that power, they are mistaken. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

The Republicans had their chance to return to Constitutional government. Congressman Ron Paul (R-Tx) had a solid Constitutional voting record. He proved he could raise money on the Internet just like Barack and informed young people supported him but he was ignored and vilified by the very people who could have helped him win the primary -the conservative talk show hosts such as Laura Ingraham and Rush Limbaugh and FOX blocked any positive coverage. Glenn Beck, who was still on CNN at the time accused all the Ron Paul supporters as being “dangerous.” Even left-wing talk show hosts gave Ron Paul more airtime than the Republicans. Consequently we got Barack Obama as president who the media refused to vet and now causes our Republic to be in deeper peril. Corporations such as AIG that the feds now control will find a Barack Democrat as CEO and all that unaccountable bailout money in addition to Ivy League elitists will continue to see that the Democrat coffers are filled at any future election time. In many ways President Barack Obama’s tough talk reminds me of Mikhail Gorbachev when he was telling the world about “glasnost” (openness/transparency) and “perestroika.” (restructuring/change). Privately Gorby admitted those changes were for consumption only!

The enthusiasm Republicans had for Goldwater in 1964 carried forward into the Ronald Reagan revolution in 1980. Goldwater had declared federal aid to education as unconstitutional and warned of its inherent “evils and dangers.” “Federal aid”, he wrote, “invariably means federal control” and then Democrat Jimmy Carter created the U.S. Department of Education where our children in the public schools system are programmed to accept one- world citizenship and one- world government. President Reagan promised to shut it down. Another GOP promise unfulfilled. Someone e-mailed me all the recent presidents from FDR forward who have commented that we are “citizens of the world.”

So long U.S. sovereignty! Google “Citizens of the World” used by Plethora of Past Presidents.

In 1994 voters got excited about Republican Newt Gingrich’s “Contract with America” but later learned that Newt and his Republican followers in the House of Representatives where he was House Speaker worked hand in glove with President Clinton to create the North American Free Trade Agreement linking the USA globally to Mexico. While some say NAFTA was “no big deal”, Jerome Corsi in his 2007 book The Late Great USA writes ever so gradually thousands of acres of farm land are being taken through Eminent Domain for the huge highway that has been proposed from the border of Mexico, up through the middle of the U.S. to Canada with a Mexican Customs office in Kansas City staffed by Mexican government officials and the $2.5 million facility paid for by Kansas City taxpayers. This plan is to circumvent U.S. dockworker labor costs on the Pacific Ocean. Shipments from China and the Far East will unload at Mexican ports. Google: KCSmartPort. Please note sources at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing, China confirmed that the U.S.A has tendered to China a written agreement which grants to the People’s Republic of China, an option to exercise Eminent Domain within the USA, as collateral for China’s continued purchase of US Treasury notes and existing US currency reserves! Translation: The UN already owns many of our national parks and now your real estate and bank account is China’s collateral!!

I was not involved in politics during the Goldwater revolution but in his book With No Apologies, Barry Goldwater condemned the Rockefeller Trilateral Commisssion and other “world planners” for turning their backs on the independence of the USA. To this day Republicans still call Goldwater “Mr. Conservative.” Cal Thomas in his 6/2/1998 commentary said conservatives are in Goldwater’s debt. Quoted in the 9/22/1960 Human Events newspaper Goldwater said, “Let’s quit being nice about it. I’m tired of calling these people liberals. Liberal is a pretty nice word. Let’s call them socialists, for that’s what they are.” The February 16, 2009 Newsweek reiterates what Goldwater said. Its cover says, “We are all Socialists now.” One of the six votes against JFK’s civil rights legislation was Senator Barry Goldwater. In opposing this landmark legislation some accuse him of delivering a massive 94% of African-American voters to the Democrats, and most blacks have voted for Democrats ever since and something in later years caused Goldwater to simply blend in with the progressives.

So, having written all of the above, should we a bit suspicious when we find that the current national GOP chairman is a member of the Aspen Institute. It is a globalist one- world government, one-world religion (excluding Christians) group that was for a long time headed up by Canadian multi-millionaire Maurice Strong, a big time New Ager who has been heralded as the “indispensable man” at the center of the U.N.’s global power. Former Lt. Gov. Michael Steele has been elected the first black chairman of the Republican National Committee but when you read Steele’s biography, you’ll note that in 2005 Steele was named Aspen Institute-Rodel Fellow in Public Leadership and awarded the 2005 Bethune-DuBois Institute Award for his ongoing work in the development of quality education in Maryland.

I never read or hear the name DuBois that I don’t think about W.E.B. DuBois. In the 2007 book, The Case Against Barack Obama, David Freddoso using Obama’s own writings, says much of the young Obama’s courtship of radicalism had to do with his inner conflict about his racial identity. For answers, he turned to the literature of a Communist (Richard Wright, who was expelled from the party), a fellow traveler (W.E.B. DuBois, who eulogized Joseph Stalin as a great man) and two other black authors such as Ralph Ellison and James Baldwin. Obama looked at where each one’s racial angst led him as a black man living in a white world. “Each man” Obama wrote “was finally forced to withdraw, one to Africa, one to Europe, one deeper into the bowels of Harlem, but all of them in the same weary flight, all of them exhausted, bitter men, the devil at their heels.”

Oliva Marie O’Grady in her 1959 book (The) Beasts of the Apocalypse wrote about 1910 four left-wing members of the Caucasian race organized what they were pleased to call the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). Dr. W.E.B. DuBois, a left-wing Negro, was the 5th member. In 1994 there was a .29 postage stamp recognizing W.E.B. DuBois and the Black Heritage USA. David Horowitz (whose parents were Communists) wrote in his 1997 book Radical Son Negro scholar W.E.B DuBois and his wife were guests of Communists. At the time DuBois was a sprightly 86 and charming and was an icon for us! It seems, all references to DuBois lead directly to the Communist Party USA.

The Aspen Institute and the Club of Rome, a radical environmentalist group was launched publicly in April 1968 by the Italian Freemason, Aurelio Peccei. David Icke in his 1995 book "And the Truth Shall Set You Free" says the Club of Rome was created by meetings at the Rockefeller family’s private estate at Bellagio in Italy. Its role was to issue propaganda about the environmental crisis and use this to justify the centralization of power. Remember, watermelons are green on the outside and red inside. The 1974 Fall issue of American Mercury asked about the curious club of Rome: Is the “club” merely a bunch of boring pedants and doom-sayers, or is it a sinister cabal aiming for world control in which all governments must change their ways in, for example, imposing population control? Infanticide (abortion) was made legal. Oregon and Washington States have approved euthanasia. Social Security and Medicaid are bankrupt so watch out senior citizens who are now low on the feeding chain. Remember how Adolph Hitler eliminated his “useless eaters?”

In April 1959 the House Committee on UnAmerican Activities (HCUA) reported that the “club” is the smallest subdivision in the party’s apparatus, set up on the basis of a common activity by the members. There are professional and cultural clubs for such groupings as doctors and nurses, teachers, lawyers, scientists, social workers, screenwriters, newspaper people, and musicians. Within the industrial section are clubs exclusively for employees of a single industry or for members of a particular industrial union. Other clubs are composed of members residing within the same community or small town. The club is the center of their work. It is the place where every Communist has his connection to the party. It is the point of production. And those groups are the ones we will see as sponsors on legislative bills promoting the Communist agenda. Some groups may have less than ten members – maybe only a president and a secretary- but they appear big and most uninformed, elected sycophants are impressed!

To those unfamiliar with the HCUA, it was created to expose communist activities and fronts in the U.S. A 7/7/1960 Human Events newspaper commented about the “red” attitude toward the HCUA. A witness testified: “At all times one of the major targets, and at this time, of course, the major target of the Communist Party is their intense, fervent desire to abolish the HCUA because they feel is the biggest stumbling block that they have at this time in their effort to breakout in a full-fledged operation…” The liberal press in 1960 launched its annual drive to abolish the HCUA and eventually the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) was responsible for abolishing it.

I sent the Aspen Institute information to Oregon GOP chairman, Bob Tiernan, an attorney and a former legislator, who it was reported on the radio was instrumental in getting Michael Steele elected as chairman. I asked him to talk to Michael about it. On 3/13/2009 the TV told about 600 people gathering at a fund-raising event in Portland, Oregon with Michael Steele. When Tiernan said, “Michael, we support you,” I figured I wasn’t going to get a response from Tiernan so I decided to follow through with this article about which I told Tiernan I planned to write.

It’s up to the readers to draw their own conclusions about Michael Steele but if he isn’t a part of this conspiracy, then he should renounce them all.
