LAST STAND FOR THE STATE LEGISLATURES

In the 1985 Oregon legislature 31 words, at the request of the A.C.L.U. were removed from law (HB 2663): NO TEXTBOOKS SHALL BE USED IN THE SCHOOLS WHICH SPEAKS SLIGHTINGLY OF THE FOUNDERS OF THE REPUBLIC OR OF THOSE WHO PRESERVE THE UNION OR WHICH BELITTLES OR UNDERVALUES THEIR WORK. The Washington Times on 1/28/2002 published a story stating George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin were not included in the revised version of the New Jersey Department of Education history standards – a move some critics view as political correctness as its worse. The article went on to state that the Pilgrims and the Mayflower also were excluded. The Founders recognized that men are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights and that governments are instituted to secure those rights so HB 2663 was another example of how our European ancestry is being destroyed. In 1987 Washington’s and Lincoln’s birthday were removed from the calendar and given a “President’s Day” in order to honor civil-rights activist Martin Luther King’s birthday in January.
Our Founders determined our best protection against totalitarianism would be those elected officials closest to the people. That meant our U.S. Congress and state representatives who must be elected every two years. All appropriation bills originate in the House of Representatives at both the state and Washington, D.C. level. If we don’t like the way they vote, kick ‘em out the next election cycle; however, even with all the information available on the internet, few people watch how their reps vote. It’s, we the people that are the problem. Many people can rattle off a variety of athletic statistics, in what movie some actor or actress plays, who is Dancing With the Stars but don’t even know the name of their state legislator or U.S. Congress person not alone watch their voting record.
The Lord knows the heart of man and his susceptibility to deception and his willingness to follow the wrong people with the help of the liberal anti-God media. “I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not; if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. (John 5:43) The Lord will return to the earth not during a time of great revival as some believe but in a time of apostasy. The question naturally follows: ‘”Shall He find faith on the earth?”
CRADLE TO THE GRAVE
I feel as though this November may be our last stand against usurpers. Written before the communist feminist movement, the song says we just need “A Few Good Men” willing to go against the grain, men who will raise that shield of faith, protecting what is pure… The Supreme Court is supposed to have the final say but Alexander Hamilton wrote in the Federalist Papers: “Liberty can have nothing to fear from the judiciary alone but would have everything to fear from its union with either of the other departments.” In 1973, the Court legalized abortion and now with ObamaCare being declared a “tax” rather than unconstitutional, we see the 15-member “death panels” are now law. This is why it is high time our state legislators get a spine and use the Tenth Amendment to take back their power. The first article I wrote for News With Views on June 15, 2003 was titled “Our lives, Our Fortunes and our Sacred honor.” Will that pledge still be honored by our elected officials today? An article in a July 1, 1990 newspaper said today’s nation’s heroes come from abroad. They named South Africa’s communist Nelson Mandela and Russia’s communist Mikhail Gorbachev.
THE TENTH AMENDMENT
The states have become beholden to a centralized government about which our Founders warned but may yet regain their proper role as masters through the exercise of the Tenth Amendment and their natural right to rule as sovereign entities. They may stop ObamaCare at the state borders by enacting state statutes nullifying the healthcare law and criminalizing state participation in administering or executing the unconstitutional provisions thereof. Nullification is the “rightful remedy” and is a very effective and constitutionally sound method of checking federal usurpation of power. That said, there is no reason that concerned citizens should not use every weapon in the constitutional arsenal, including working to convince Congress to repeal this offensive act.[1]
DON’T HOLD YOUR BREATH
While there seems to be much excitement over GOP’s presidential nominee Mitt Romney’s choice of Congressman Paul Ryan (R-Wisconsin)for V.P, as Devvy Kidd and Chuck Baldwin have stated, don’t hold your breath that things will change. Sure jobs are important but neither Romney nor Ryan is addressing the real problems. The GOP platform committee is meeting this week in Tampa, Florida preparing for the upcoming convention. What will its platform say?
While Social Security and the military are not on the long list of cuts being proposed by Ryan, I see nothing on the list about dropping U.N. membership where our one vote is out numbered by the communist nations. Has Ryan proposed eliminating all those unconstitutional U.N administrative regulatory agencies who decide, after a bill is enacted, how to interpret it, and how about that corrupt Federal Reserve? Perhaps you’ve heard their surrogates address Obama’s latest “Dream Act” stance – amnesty for adult children of illegal immigrants that were brought to the U.S. as minors but I haven’t heard the candidates. I live in the blue, liberal state of Oregon but a poll taken by our local newspaper asking that question found that 64.7% of the readers said they should not have amnesty. Those who have entered the U.S. legally are equally as upset over illegals given amnesty as those who are natural born.
ANYBODY BUT BARACK OBAMA
Like some who voted in 2008 said , “Anybody but George Bush” (who wasn’t running), this year it will be “Anybody but Barack Obama.” People will hold their noses and vote for Romney and Ryan believing voter’s widespread distain for ObamaCare will put them into office; however, putting the inventor of ObamaCare at the top of the ticket in a year in which the party seeks to win more seats in the House of Representatives and Senate may not have been wise. In addition, many portions of the ObamaCare have already been implemented and once that old horse gets out of the barn, it is hard to corral him again. Some elderly are losing homes to back taxes. Outdated laws in Oregon are making seniors vulnerable and tax-deferral changes in Oregon hurt seniors and then there is ObamaCare. If Romney and Ryan are concerned about losing the vote of retirees in Florida , then all they or their surrogates have to do is drop a few hints about ObamaCare.
DEATH TO THOSE OVER 75
Dr. Gary W. Ballard, Director of Trinity Christian Academy in Paris, TX says no one over 75 will be given major medical procedures unless approved by locally administered Ethics (Death) Panels and they aren’t “on call” around the clock. Automatic approval for dialysis will be no more. Receiving stents bypass surgery, kidney operations or treating for an aneurysm will no longer be available. Doctors are already seeing cutbacks aimed at reducing care across the board for anyone who is over 75. And I haven’t heard either Romney or Ryan mention the fact that thirty six months after Obama signed ObamaCare it will require all U.S. citizens and babies to receive a microchip or Medchip by March 23, 2013- exactly 36 months! The Apostle Paul explains how this fits Revelation 13, where the False Prophet will head a one world religion and force people to accept the mark of the beast.
REGIONALISM IS COMMUNISM
Republican Richard Nixon with Executive Order 11647 recast the geographical structure of the United States into ten managed “regions” following Democrat FDR’s dream of abolishing our states and gradually merging nations into a United Nations world government and because nation-states have traditionally, and rightfully been suspicious of ceding themselves to a world government, the establishment adopted the tactic of grouping countries under REGIONAL Government as a steppingstone to global dominion. Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin understood this strategy well. He said “Populations will more readily abandon their national loyalties to a vague, regional loyalty than they will be for a world authority. Later the Regionals can be brought all the way into a single world dictatorship.” This is how local governments lost control. Even our finest so-called conservative writers, talk show pundits and speakers did not see Regionalism is communism.
Oregon’s Republican Dennis Richardson tells how states raise revenue without subjecting elected legislators to a vote. They create “regional taxing authorities” with appointed directors by the governor and then let these unelected certifiable nincompoops raise revenue through licensing, fines, tolls and other means. Unconstitutional Executive Orders along with numerous Presidential Decision Directives created mostly under the radar and unreported by the mainstream media have been used to destroy the Constitution and Bill of Rights.
AMERIKA

of the GOP-controlled Congress and Senate and Rush Limbaugh, who helped
promote it on his radio talk show. Like the older European Common Market
that eventually morphed into the European Union, NAFTA, a supposed “free
trade” arrangement, provided the supranational architecture for
future integration. It should be noted on September 11, 1990 the elder-
Republican President George HW Bush declared the need to move forward
with the New World Order. Consummate whistleblower Charlotte Iserbyt
gives the history of regional
governance and subversions, Iserbyt is also author of “the
deliberate dumbing down of America,” that illustrates how education
is used to indoctrinate generations of young people to accept this New
World Order.
So as Americans sat on the sidelines sleeping or cheering for political correct activities they didn’t understand or using such phony controlled “truth detecting” websites like “FactCheck” or “Snopes,” our elected elites were springing toward the New World Order. Among other pet projects such as “communications” and “education reform, “FactCheck” is sponsored by the Annenberg Foundation, the same foundation that has been behind Obama and his terrorist pal, William Ayers since the Chicago days and later deemed the birth certificate posted on the Obama website the real thing.

America has been sliding toward tyranny and few Americans recognize it. Thomas Jefferson had a deep-seated fear of cities and dense populations. He viewed “great cities as pestilential to the morals, the health and the liberties of man.” How true it is especially on the west and east coasts. It is the population in large cities that have brought us to the point of disaster. Though bankrupt they are the tail that wags the dog in politics as they try to get us to give up our guns, our cars, and live in row houses on mass transit lines. Be not deceived. Keep your powder dry unless we find a few good men!
