WHY VOTE SECOND PARTY?

Those of us who have abandoned the "two-party" charade that dominates American politics are often asked, "Why waste your vote on a third-party candidate?" That question is quickly followed by, "Why don't you just try to fix the parties we already have?"

Before the first question can be answered, the question needs to be corrected, because the term "third-party" implies there are two other parties. With the effective merger of the Republican and Democratic Parties, that is clearly not the case. Which makes the Constitution Party a "second-party."

As to the second question, the evidence is unequivocal. After decades of consistent failure, the Republican Party of today has become a mere hollowed out shell of it's former self, broken beyond any hope of repair. The collapse of the Republican Party we used to know is so complete, the only thing we can realistically do at this time is to cut our losses and move on.

The absence of any real competing worldview in Washington has resulted in a serious decay of our society, the symptoms of which have grown into nothing short of "civilization killers." We desperately want to escape the fact that 3,600 American children are murdered every day - murdered under the full authority and protection of the U.S. government! This death toll continues to grind on even though "pro-life" conservatives control the major positions of power in our government. Paralleling this unprecedented destruction of our own posterity is the complete mockery that is being made of traditional marriage. All this while sodomy has become a celebrated right.

The moral bankruptcy of our government is now complete.

On top of that we have; tyrannical courts, exploding budgets and deficits, massive income redistribution schemes, oppressive regulations, socialized medicine, a burgeoning police state, filth and perversion spewing out over the internet and the airwaves, a Social Security Ponzi scheme, government schools that teach paganism, the banishment of religious displays from the public square, a monetary system based on counterfeit currency, phony tax cuts, and whichever other "crime of the week" we get sucked into fighting.

For 22 of the last 24 years, Republicans have held a major chokehold on the power in this country. Republicans have either controlled the House, the Senate, or the Presidency (or all three) every year since 1980, except for 1992 and 1993. Any one of those positions of power could have been used to cause major disruptions in the plans of those who seek to enslave us. Yet we find that the Republicans have either refused to fight, or lost every major fight they have entered into, while the symptoms of our decay continued to worsen. As a result, what had been a gradual downward slide is quickly turning into a societal freefall.

We can continue doing the same thing we have always done to fight the methodical destruction of our culture - reach for the "R" lever at election time. But we are in this situation precisely because so few have bothered to check to see if our leaders are actually doing what they said they would do. We need to face up to the fact that nearly every person we have elected to Congress is breaking the law on a daily basis! We have compromised our core beliefs by continuing to re-elect the same lawbreakers year after year. The resulting chaos is nearly inevitable.

The costs of compromise:

  • During ten years of Republican rule in Congress, another 13,000,000 (that's THIRTEEN MILLION!) American children have been murdered in the abortion holocaust. All we have seen from the Republicans in those ten years is a ban on "partial birth" abortions - a sorry excuse for an abortion ban that does not even ban any abortions! [1]
  • On March 13, 2003, in an historic betrayal, forty-eight Republican members of the U.S. Senate (including every one of them who ever told us they were pro-life) voted to reaffirm Roe v. Wade. [2]
  • Federal spending is up over 60% since "conservatives" took control of Congress in 1994. The pace of this wild spending spree has accelerated since Republicans took over the Executive Branch as well.
  • At least 80% of all federal spending in the FY 2004 budget is clearly illegal based on the Article I authorizations of congressional power. Anyone who voted to approve (or signed into law) HR 2673, the 2004 Omnibus Spending Bill, broke the law, because it was literally chocked full of illegal spending from top to bottom.
  • Republicans and Democrats quibbled over whether the prescription drug benefit should have been $400 billion or $550 billion. No one wanted to debate the correct amount of federal dollars the Constitution authorizes for prescription drugs - zero! Whichever "side" won is completely irrelevant, because in the end, many hundreds of billions, if not trillions, will be squandered.
  • Seven of the nine current sitting Supreme Court Justices were nominated by Republican presidents, which invalidates the theory that we need to elect Republicans in order to end the judicial tyranny that is ripping our freedom to shreds.
  • George Bush wants to "stay" the disastrous course of his Iraqi invasion. When asked at a news conference if he had made any mistakes in Iraq, Bush, through a vacant stare, could not think of a single one. (I cannot believe I actually voted for that man!)
  • John Kerry, the other half of the one-party ticket, plans to "stay the course" in Iraq as well, only with more troops and more international help or not. We'll never know for sure with him.
  • The State Department recently reported that 2003 had the "lowest terror incidence rate of any year in history" only to admit one week later that, whoops, 2003 was in fact the worst terror year on record. We are so used to being lied to that there was almost no reaction from the public.
  • On June 15, 2004, 65 members of the Republican controlled Senate vote to make "hatred" of homosexuality a crime. [3]
  • Republicans embrace a "big tent" theory, which gives legitimacy to the "Republicans for Choice", and the sodomites at the "Log Cabin Republicans." All the tent has done is boil the conservative agenda into a meaningless mush.
  • Dick Cheney's old buddies at Halliburton received multi-billion dollar "no-bid" contracts to rebuild Iraq (after he and Bush tore it apart) and Republicans couldn't have cared less. Imagine if Clinton had pulled a stunt like that. We would still be having hearings.
  • And on and on and on

One thing we have learned - compromise always leads to more compromise so who's been wasting their vote?

It is time to try something completely different! When a newly elected politician from the Dem/Rep Party comes to Washington, they will quickly learn there are a lot of favors to repay. All but a handful of these freshmen Congressmen will be completely compromised within just a few years of entering the District of Criminals.

The perilous situation in which we find ourselves is the direct result of decades of compromise by those we have entrusted to lead us. (And we the people for electing them!) There can be little doubt that if we continue down this road to moral and fiscal anarchy, a catastrophic American crash is unavoidable.

I do not know about you, but my reason for staying in this fight is not just to make the bad things happen a little slower. We have been retreating from this battle for far too long. We need to go on the offensive and focus our efforts on taking this country back!

A second-party run for office is definitely not the easy way to gain access to our political system because the roadblocks to our success have been well fortified. But while the acceleration of America's decline continues at a mind-numbing pace, we need to stay focused on what is at stake in this battle - the very survival of this once great republic.

We can be sure of one thing, " God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap." Gal. 6:7. The blood of 45,000,000 children murdered in the abortion holocaust is crying out for justice. May God have mercy on America when the bill finally comes due.

In the meantime, we need to confidently press on with the fight, even in the face of the impossible odds against us. While our victory has so far remained elusive, the failure of the current system is virtually guaranteed.
