As the carnage from drunk, unlicensed, illegal aliens continues to mount, some wonder if the refusal by Congress and Bush to stop this full blown invasion will lead to such frustration, Americans begin to take action on their own? The recent tragedy below once again underscores the massive failure by the Republican controlled Congress to get the job done during the 12 years they held the majority. There's no question Bush has never wanted the borders sealed and exposure of the treasonous plans for a North American Union has left the Emperor naked.

Christ-mas becomes a funeral. Tragically, a mother and two children were senselessly killed, no, murdered, by another drunk who is suspected of being in this country illegally. Carlos Prieto is not an immigrant. If confirmed he smuggled himself across our border, his legal status is illegal alien. This drunk has been charged with three counts of vehicular manslaughter for DUI and, surprise, surprise, no drivers license and you can forget insurance. One half of an entire family wiped out. The father and two other children were hurt, but thanks to God's mercy, they survived. This sickening event happened Christ-mas eve in Salt Lake City, Utah. No surprise: records show Prieto had already been arrested twice for DUIs. How many more, America? How much more American blood will run in the streets to appease corrupt politicians, minority voting blocks and corporations like Swift who hire illegals?

On December 29, 2006, another illegal alien being hunted for wounding two policemen in Long Beach, California and who had already been previously deported, ended in violence. Oscar Gabriel Gallegos was shot and killed by police who found him at a taco stand. This Mexican national who "just wanted to find work to better his life" by smuggling himself across our border, was carrying two fully loaded magazines including his .40-caliber Glock. The two officers shot by Gallegos was pulled over when he ran a red light and decided to shoot it out. Over the past 16 years, this illegal alien has been charged repeatedly with drug and weapons violations. Due to the complete lack of decisive action by Congress since 1986, all presidents in between and the four border governors, criminal trash like Prieto and Gallegos have been able to destroy lives with impunity and treat our borders as nothing more than a revolving door.

For those who think the "new" Democrat controlled Congress will stop this carnage, think again. Along with pro-illegal extremists like John McCain and gutless governors like Napolitano, Schwarzenegger, Perry and Richardson, the situation is going to get much, much worse. Americans are becoming beyond frustrated as more and more innocent mothers, daughters, fathers and sons are slaughtered by these criminals, not to mention stealing jobs that rightfully belong to Americans and the direct correlation between illegals and depressing wages for the middle class.

As I wrote this column, there was the continuing discussion on Lou Dobbs about this invasion. Gag bag political pundit, Ed Rollins said he "wasn't sure if the American people are tired of the illegals issue" and no one really knows what to do about the eleven million already here. Bull. These DC mouthpieces are so far out of touch with the American people, it's pathetic. The numbers are closer to 15 million and we do know what to do - the same thing a former president did and yes, we are fed up with this invasion being rubbed in our faces. Eisenhower rounded up and deported one million illegal aliens in a year. Don't tell me it can't get done. All it takes is real men and women in state legislatures like Arizona who aren't afraid to stand up to incompetent fools like Gov. Janet Napolitano and extremists like John McCain, betrayer of our POW/MIAs. And, it needs to get done before the spark just waiting to get lit is ignited because none of us want to see our country turned into an Iraq or Kosovo. The solutions are there, we just need those elected public servants in leadership positions to exercise the solutions available to them right now.

If the state legislatures do not begin taking the lead in rounding up these illegals and standing up to Congress and Bush, the situation is likely to get very out of control. Americans will only allow lawlessness for so long before they can't take it anymore. I urge the citizens of every state in this Union: begin to make plans to start doing what Jodi Waters did in California over the MTBE issue and the great folks in Tennessee did to stop a state personal income tax - both 100% victories. Start surrounding the state houses and demand the state militias be reconstituted under the control of the state legislature and do what the feds won't. Is this legal? Absolutely, and let me quote from one of Dr. Edwin Vieira's scholarly columns on this very issue:

"Second, although "the Militia of the several States" are State institutions, the States cannot dispense with them, either, because the Constitution presupposes their permanence, and the Constitution is "the supreme Law of the Land". Article VI, Clause 2. Obviously, if the States could dissolve their Militia at will, they could erase Congress's power to "call[ ] forth the Militia". They could render unfulfillable the duty of the United States to "guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government" and to "protect each of them against Invasion; and * * * against domestic Violence". Article IV, Section 4. And they could even disarm themselves from "engag[ing] in War" when "actually invaded, or in such imminent Danger as will not admit of delay", because (absent dispensation from Congress) they would have no other armed forces to deploy. Article I, Section 10, Clause 3."

The states can no longer sit back and allow this cancer to multiply, killing innocent Americans at a rate of 12 per day. As local municipalities pass ordinances to fight this invasion, they are being pummeled by anti-American operations like the ACLU and pro-illegal, pro-criminal organizations determined to facilitate this invasion and take over our republic. As for those men who have sent me mail each time I do a column on the state militias telling me they don't have time to do their duty, let me quote from the magnificent movie, Open Range. Kevin Costner and Robert Duvall are talking to some men who live in this town. The discussion is about how things are going to Hell. Costner says, "Why don't you do something about it?" One man says, "We're freighters, Ralph here is a shopkeeper." Costner replies, "You're men ain't you?" The man says, "I didn't raise my boys just to see 'em killed." Kevin Costner replies, "You may not know this but, there's, ah, things that gnaw at a man worse than dying." Well, you're men, aren't you? Then act like it instead of expecting someone else to fulfill your duty to your country. Freedom always comes with a price. Pay it or live on your knees in shame.

In addition to the carnage and economic destruction consequences of this invasion, we must not forget the national security threat because we know terrorists are coming across the border and setting up cells. This brings me to the feedback from my last column on Keith Ellison, a Muslim who is to be sworn into office next week to serve in the U.S. Congress. My mail box was full of drivel about bigotry and encouragement from Hindi's who insist their Holy Gita book be made the Holy Book of America! For those bleeding hearts out there who sent me mail accusing me of bigotry and for not being "tolerant" of Muslims, they need to read a superb analysis on Keith Ellison and the organizations he supports. There's an old saying: lie down with dogs, get up with fleas. Robert Spencer's column, A Bigot in Congress? is here and I hope you will read it and share it with your mailing lists. There's more to Ellison than what's been sold by flunkies in the "mainstream media" who call themselves reporters and journalists.

As I pointed out in my last column: pay attention to what has happened to France and England once they allowed unchecked immigration by Muslims into their countries. I provided readers with links to substantiate what happens once the numbers get big enough to riot and demand these countries give up their heritage, their laws and customs to kiss the prayer rugs of militant Muslims. Try going to Iran, Iraq or Saudi Arabia and demand they convert their country to a Christian nation and see what happens. You're likely to lose your head by morning. Look at what happened to two pastors in Australia for allegedly vilifying Muslims when they quoted from their so-called Holy Book, the Quran; see here. Think this isn't coming to these united States of America? Think again, it's just a matter of time and Ellison is the camel sticking his nose in the tent.
