CHALLENGING SHARIA LAW MEANS CHALLENGING ISLAM AS A RELIGION

There are more efforts underway to stop Sharia Law from becoming in the this country. So far, efforts have failed:

Federal court blocks Oklahoma ban on Sharia - January 10, 2012

(CNN) -- "A federal appeals court has blocked an Oklahoma voter-approved measure barring state judges from considering Islamic and international law in their decisions. The three-judge panel at the 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals upheld an earlier injunction preventing State Question 755 from being certified until the free speech questions are resolved. The decision Tuesday allows a lawsuit brought by Islamic-American groups to move ahead to a bench trial.

"The proposed amendment discriminates among religions," said the judges. "The Oklahoma amendment specifically names the target of its discrimination. The only religious law mentioned in the amendment is Sharia law...."In bringing suit, CAIR argued that the amendment violates the establishment and free-exercise clauses of the First Amendment's guarantee of religious freedom. The group's local leader, Muneer Awad, has said the amendment passed in November 2010 under a campaign of fear and misinformation about Islam."

Let's start with the definition of Sharia Law:

"Sharia is the moral code and religious law of Islam. Sharia deals with many topics addressed by secular law, including crime, politics, and economics, as well as personal matters such as sexual intercourse, hygiene, diet, prayer, and fasting. Though interpretations of sharia vary between cultures, in its strictest definition it is considered the infallible law of God—as opposed to the human interpretation of the laws (fiqh).

"There are two primary sources of sharia law: the precepts set forth in the Quran, and the example set by the Islamic prophet Muhammad in the Sunnah. Where it has official status, sharia is interpreted by Islamic judges (qadis) with varying responsibilities for the religious leaders (imams). For questions not directly addressed in the primary sources, the application of sharia is extended through consensus of the religious scholars (ulama) thought to embody the consensus of the Muslim Community (ijma). Islamic jurisprudence will also sometimes incorporate analogies from the Quran and Sunnah through qiyas, though Shia jurists prefer reasoning ('aql) to analogy."

In order for courts to declare Sharia Law is protected under the First Amendment, shouldn't there be a rational discussion as to whether or not Islam is even a bona fide religion? I say, yes. When I brought up this argument several years ago, I can't even begin to describe the vicious emails filled with very personal and in your face death threats. However, that has not deterred me because Islam is a national security threat, not a religion.

Just because Islam has been called a religion for a few thousand years, doesn't make it so. Discussing religion has caused stupid people who lose their tempter to have violent arguments. In the case of Islam, it means death and destruction (remember the riots in France and England over some stupid cartoon?) for anyone who criticizes their pedophile prophet Muhammad: "Pedophilia is permitted in the Qur'an, was practiced by Muhammad and his companions, and some Muslims today continue to commit the crime, following their prophet's example."

Yemen's majority population are Sunni Muslims and Afghanistan is dominated by Muslims of different sects.

In America, people are free to worship the religion of their choice whether I agree with them or not. That is why we call it freedom of religion. Islam, however, is a completely different belief system. Islam is all about killing, violence and has enslaved more than a billion human beings. If you do not believe some guy called Allah is the only God you must worship, you are an infidel punishable by death. What kind of religion is that? What kind of religion calls for decapitating someone who criticizes Islam? What kind of religion trains children to become soldiers?

Let me quote a few others who also don't believe Islam is a religion; I hope you take the time to read their columns:

Demoting Islam's Religion Status: "One thing is certain, Islam is not a religion by anything Americans believe one to be - not even close. In fact, Islam is the antithesis of what we deem to be religious. Above all, Islam is a totalitarian political machine of blood thirsty conquest which zealously advocates the downfall of the U.S. government."

An Impostor Religion

"To put it bluntly Islam’s religion status should be rescinded because it is a wolf in sheep's clothing, a Trojan horse, an impostor religion that has arrived on our shore with malicious intent, deathly determined to replace our constitution with the Koran, and turn America into an Islamic nation controlled by Sharia law. Robert Spencer in his excellent book, "Stealth Jihad” (How Radical Islam Is Subverting America Without Guns or Bombs), explains how so-called moderate Islam is having greater success at invading America than its counterpart militant Islam. Shockingly, one may rightly conclude that America is now being conquered without Islam even having to fire a shot. Have we really become that docile, self complacent and pathetic? The answer is Yes!

The Sham of Moderate Islam

"Does this mean that even so-called moderate Muslims are hostile to America? It certainly does. Moderate Muslims support the conquest of America with fervor equal to that of the militant Muslims. They cunningly play the role of the "good cop” in their good cop, bad cop charade deceiving we gullible Americans. In fact, the "two hands” of Islam aspire to choke the life out of America. One hand is called militant Muslims; the other hand is called moderate Muslims. These "two hands” work together, in their Koranically mandated asphyxiation pogrom, of strangling America into submission. This point cannot be overemphasized."

What Is Islam? "Islam is not a religion, but a harmful thorn; thus, we must make laws to fight this unwanted thorn growing like mushrooms in our backyards. If Islam is not controlled, these mushrooms soon will blossom and become mushroom-clouds."

Sharia law makes Islam much more than a religion. Its broad doctrine and application to non-Muslims make Islam a political entity, a government with goals of global dominion.

Islam and Shariah Banking. "Whoever says Islam is a religion is totally blind to the obvious or is a sympathizer. Islam is a complete authoritarian government-political-business-control enterprise whose only object is total subjugation of mankind and the destruction of western civilization. They invade the host country as a virus by exploiting the host's freedom of speech and religion with political correctness, and eventually demand Shariah law and Shariah banking. As we appease Muslims and accede to their demands we will see the decline of western civilization."

How foolish is it to invite the enemy into our country and then genuflect at their feet while they hide their real agenda behind our First Amendment?

Mosques and the Islamization of America. "Disguised as religion, Islam has penetrated democracies with the aim of replacing civility and liberty with the barbarism of 7th century Islamic theocracy and Sharia law. Islam's multi-pronged attack aims to destroy all that liberty offers."

And, speaking of mosques, this little booklet is in almost all mosques in the U.S.: Jihad in Islam. Do check page 5 of the 37 page booklet: "But the truth is that Islam is not the name of a ‘Religion’, nor is ‘Muslim’ the title of a ‘Nation’. In reality Islam is a revolutionary ideology and programme which seeks to alter the social order of the whole world and rebuild it in conformity with its own tenets and ideals. ‘Muslim’ is the title of that International Revolutionary Party organized by Islam to carry into effect its revolutionary programme. And ‘Jihad’ refers to that revolutionary struggle and utmost exertion which the Islamic Party brings into play to achieve this objective."

If you read the whole thing, you'll get a clear understanding of the goals of Islam. It is a party hell bent on forcing every human on this earth to "worship" their putrid ideology.

Is Islam a Religion or Military Ideology? "The question our political czars and Emir (Leader/Prince) Obama should ponder is this: If Islamic scholars state Islam is more of a political, economic, and military ideology above even religion, then should our government not agree and cancel all of their non profit tax status? Should we not remove the thousands of religious visa given to Muslim leaders? Should we not be taking the words Jihad and Islamic terrorism seriously?"

Islam is a religion of peace is one of the greatest whoppers ever told.

Allowing Muslims to serve in our military is beyond foolish. Mass murderer, Nidal Malik Hassan, still hasn't been tried and executed for slaughtering 13 Americans at Ft. Hood on Nov. 5, 2009. There is no doubt of his guilt. The trial continues to be delayed because Hassan is fighting shaving his beard for court based on religious grounds. Almost three years the families and survivors of that massacre have been waiting for justice. Muslims have become experts at gaming our judicial system.

For every one of the examples above, I can give you a thousand more. As I have so many times, I highly recommend you read a short book by Dr. Peter Hammond. I had the pleasure of having dinner with him and my dear friend, Brig. Gen. Ben Partin (Ret.) in Alexandria, VA., many years ago. Dr. Hammond is an expert on Islam. If you read Slavery, Terrorism & Islam you will see the history of Islam: Killing men, women and children to further their quest for world domination. Slavery of human beings didn't bother them a bit over the centuries.

That is the cancer unleashed upon America by allowing Muslims into this country. So, I ask you again: Is Islam a religion? How could anyone who hasn't had their brain polluted with political correctness believe Islam is a religion, never mind a "peaceful" one?

In the blink of an eye, this type of violence will come to your city or town and Muslims will claim protection of religion under the First Amendment. Mark my words: The Trojan Horse shoved down our throats is named violence and hatred. Violence is never the answer no matter how much you disagree with someone. For Muslims, it is a way of life.

Someone emailed suggesting all Muslims be deported. That is not only impossible, but not legally nor morally right. I don't know the exact number, but millions of Muslims born in this country to two parents who are U.S. citizens are Americans by birth. Immigrant Muslims who have become U.S. citizens must take the oath:

"I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God."

There are exceptions to some of the language like service in the Armed Forces and "8 C.F.R. 337.1 provides that the phrase "so help me God" is optional and that the words ‘on oath’ can be substituted with ‘and solemnly affirm’. Also, if the prospective citizen can prove such commitments are in violation with his or her religion." That's how Muslims think they can get away with demanding Sharia Law - they don't take the oath of citizenship to become an American. They take it to use the First Amendment as a shield to protect the ultimate goal of Islam. They cannot have taken the oath honestly to "support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America" since the goal is to establish Sharia Law over the U.S. Consitution and state constitutions.

I feel very sorry for men, women and children who have bought into the propaganda about Islam as a religion instead of understanding it is nothing more than a brutal totalitarian form of government denying them even the most basic of human rights. However, Muslims in this country should be made to understand in no uncertain terms that this is America. The supreme law of our land is the U.S. Constitution and it will never be Sharia Law. If you break our laws, you go to prison, not to some mosque where you can further plan the destruction of America.

Now, do you want Sharia Law allowed in this country and protected under the First Amendment? It is a toxic poison that must be stopped before we're all forced to drink it.

States can continue to pass legislation and get it signed into law, or like Oklahoma, put it to the voters. However, unless and until the real question of whether or not Islam is a religion is settled, the will of the people will continue to be overthrown by federal judges.

That very important question is the one state legislatures should be addressing. If you play by the enemie's rules, you'll lose every time. Muslims are hiding behind the First Amendment. I say we pull back the curtain and take away that protection because Islam is not a religion even under the most liberal definitions. Of course, it takes courage to take a stand and question the legitimacy of Islam as a religion. Only massive pressure from we the people will make it happen.
