If you’re one of the 93 million American’s who’s going to lose your health insurance because of Obamacare, remember—it all started out as the solution to a “healthcare crisis” that never existed outside the rhetoric of politicians.
To solve the imaginary crisis, they’ve created a real one.
In our time, government has become a deadly parasite that lays its eggs on the living body of the nation. The eggs hatch into bureaucrats, U.S. Senators, and other creepy-crawlies that burrow into the body of the host and devour it from within.
Among the parasite’s favorite tactics is to addle and distract the nation by making loud noise about some terrible crisis that can only be averted by quick and vigorous government action. Most of them, like the “healthcare crisis” that spawned Obamacare, are totally imaginary. By the time the host realizes that—if it ever does—it’s too late: the eggs have hatched and the larvae are into the body, gnawing away at its vitals.
Imagine a mob of elitist ruling-class pinheads—politicians, movie stars, New York Times and Washington Post editors, Harvard profs, bent churchmen—sitting down to a $10,000-a-plate dinner to howl about the imaginary threat of “income inequality.” Something must be done about it! And they’re off to the races.
Maybe, among a little band of naked Bushmen eking out a living in the Kalahari Desert, there might be something that resembles “income equality.” But anywhere else in the real world, past or present, no dice: this utopian condition has never existed, and never will.
The squawking pinheads came to this dinner in private jets and limousines, they live in mansions, own vacation homes, and wallow in luxury. If you think they’re going to give up any of it to you or me, so we can all be “equal,” your brain has simply ceased to function. All they mean to do is to vacuum up more of your money and dole it out in dribs and drabs to favored members of their voting base—minus the sizeable portion that sticks to their fingers.
The biggest imaginary crisis, of course, is the mega-“threat” of Man-Made Global Warming, known as Climate Change when the weather gets cold.
Ooh! If the government doesn’t act to stop Global Warming, we’re all gonna die! It doesn’t matter how many times, or in how many ways, the Climate Change “scientists” get caught lying, cheating, and fudging their figures. “The science is settled! We have a consensus! Debate is closed, and Climate Change Denial should be declared a crime!” They demand that we give up our liberties, pay an onerous “carbon tax” on top of all the other taxes that we pay, and leave it up to them to save our sorry hides. (For more, see my blog, and search “global warming.”)
To the ruling class, to the worms trying to chew their way into the body politic, Global Warming is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Coolest summer on record? Caused by Global Warming! It’s too good a gig for them ever to give up. Don’t expect them ever to stop preaching it—even after the disaster of Obamacare casts serious doubt on government’s ability to do anything but vandalize our lives.
But that’s not the end of imaginary crises. Mention must be made of the bogus threat of “homophobia.” To hear our glorious leaders tell it, America is gripped in a wave of violence against innocent homosexuals. Something must be done! More hate speech laws, more “human rights” persecutions of anyone who dares to say or do anything that might conceivably make a homosexual unhappy, or even just a tad uncomfortable—now we’re getting somewhere. Society must be forced to “celebrate” two sods rolling around in bed as “marriage.” Christian morality must be—and has been—declared a threat to national security.

Let’s not forget other imaginary crises, like “Islamophobia” and “the war on women”—that’s any hesitation to provide public funds for abortion and contraceptives—and bugaboos like “heterosexism” and large helpings of soft drinks. Whatever it is, government has the answers.
Oops, there goes your medical insurance.
We have become a Godless nation, governed by lawless, Godless parasites. The great tapeworm of government feasts on our innards. There is no national repentance. We ignore God’s laws, and our ruling class ignores the Constitution.
God, in ancient times, freed the children of Israel from slavery in Egypt.
He’ll do the same for us, if only our hearts turn back to Him.
