[These are my views as a woman living in England, on how the culture and spirit of my country has changed over 50 years. Why the country does not feel protected or strong any more, how it has lost, and is losing it values and decency, and how we are daily losing our free speech.]
Labour’s deputy leader, Harriet Harman, has created quite a stir in the UK recently with her Woman to Woman pink battle bus. She believes she knows what real women want.
Intended to attract more women voters, Harriet’s pink mini bus, which is destined to tour the UK, initially undressed itself outside the Asda superstore in Stevenage to a barrage of criticism and humour.
Attempting to appeal to the 9 million women who did not vote in the 2010 general election, Harriet believes it is because women do not think that politicians have an interest in their lives, understand their lives, or have anything to offer them.
She made an honest statement. This is how many people in the country view politicians.
One brave man, HGV driver, and Asda grocery shopper, Bobby Smith confronted the women in the supermarket café and accused the campaign of ‘demonising men’ as Harriet promoted more child care facilities and equal pay for women.
The article also reports that she added: “In this general election we think it’s important that women do think that they have got a chance to have a say, and this election is about their future, and their daughters, and their grand-daughters’ future”.
Harriet’s comments, and choice of colour, were however very badly timed. The ‘compulsory’ sex education for 5 year olds, aimed primarily at eradicating homophobic bullying had only recently just been promised by fellow labour member, and shadow education secretary, Tristram Hunt. He believes experts not parents, or faith schools, know what’s best for your children. This means you would have no say in your daughters or grand-daughters future; most especially if you hold traditional values.
Asda shoppers should have left the store feeling, used, two-timed and betrayed, if they think more child care facilities means women and children matter. The softness of the colour pink didn’t fool everyone.
Indoctrination or Choice
From contraceptive implants for 10 year olds; to sex education for 5 year olds; ‘abuse’ posing as being ‘protective’ within a child’s education, are issues which are certainly raising some eyebrows.
Are children being used as little human guinea pigs, and are they being developed in to sex objects?
From the controversial debates surrounding the MMR vaccine, to the numerous testimonies from girls who claim debilitating effects from the Gardasil and Cervarix Vaccine; validity and safety concerns have been criticized from some experts who believed that the scare mongering on these issues were based on the parents ignorance.
Currently, the concerns being expressed about the long term effects of powerful hormones being administered to very young girls via contraceptive implants is being justified as only being given under exceptional circumstances.
However, a recent article from the Telegraph reports that disclosures under the Freedom of Information Act from just 61 of 160 NHS Trusts in the UK, has revealed that the contraceptive implants, which release progesterone, have already been given to 10,000 under-age girls; 56 of which were given to girls under the age of 12 in the UK.
Further, not that long ago, in 2012, it was reported that 9 secondary schools in the Southampton area were offering implants and contraceptives to students as part of a government initiative to reduce the number of teenage pregnancies and that the minor procedure was carried out on school grounds without their parents knowledge or consent.
Age Appropriate
Many of the advocates of compulsory sex education in schools continually emphasize the ‘age appropriate’ mantra. The above findings however are obviously disturbing if it is considered age appropriate to implant contraception into under age children who are as young as 10.
Undermining the parent’s responsibility, and ignoring the obvious results of how promiscuity and sexually related diseases has increased in the UK over the many years of sex education rather than decreased, seems to be side stepped by those who are adamant that parents are ignorant on such matters.
Does too much knowledge of sex equate to too much interest in sex, and do the countries decision makers who are meant to serve and not dictate to the electorate, really have an understanding?
Is there another agenda being implanted under the skin?
Many of the discoveries which are being made in our schools are a reflection of some of the proposals put forward in a ‘Report on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights’ called The Estrela Report, which was rejected overwhelmingly by the European Parliament.
The Estrela Report was put forward by Edite Estrela who was a Member of the European Parliament for the Socialist Party. Some of the proposals were:-

To make sex education a human rights concern.
• Enforce compulsory sex education for children
inside and outside of school.
• Make Liberal abortion laws, sex education,
and contraception as the ideal.
• The rejection and overriding of all pro life
laws.
• Adolescent-friendly abortion services in
schools without the consent of parents or guardians.
• The report attacked conscientious objection
for healthcare professionals.
Innocence Lost
Retaining innocence and purity is no longer the precious gift that men and women were once expected to value. In a highly sexualized world we have forgotten the beautiful qualities of self respect for each other, and for ourselves, and broken down its protective quality, in favour of sensuality and felt needs.

The freedom that young people think they have when they are encouraged to believe they are making sensible choices, finding liberation, or feeding their natures to pleasurable experiences, is really lowering and de-grading souls. They are being used. To be un-chaste is to be ‘out of control’. To be out of control and degraded, is a step by step process.
One of the steps is teaching sex education to 5 year olds and implanting contraceptives into 10 year olds. It is the abuse which is happening in British schools today.
Woman to Woman, The battle bus is not so pretty as pink any more. Its really a very dirty shade of grey.
