SENATORS MENENDEZ & MARTINEZ: WHO DO THEY SERVE?

Citizens of the United States of America; we are being fleeced. Our financial markets are in meltdown and we are told we must bear the burden of billions of dollars in debt for the good of our economic security.
At the same time, two United States Senators are working for the good of the people of the Western Hemisphere and not exclusively for the citizen of the United States of America and the Constitution, to whom they both have sworn an oath.
[I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.]
In the middle of our stock market meltdown, while fearful Americans wonder if they will be able to remove cash from their banking institutions to pay their electric bills, and while Galveston Texas remains in ruins, from hurricane Ike, with bodies of victims still unaccounted for and enormous cost not yet totaled, Senators Menendez and Martinez met with members of the Organization of American States. It is apparent to me that their priorities are, at the very least, questionable.
The Organization of American States (OAS) is a Hemispheric Organization with 34 member states (nations), including, by treaty, the United States of America. I have written about this organization and its ramifications in-depth. You can read more about it in The Demise of the American Identity.
A press release was issued from the OAS Sept 17th, 2008. You can read the press release, in full, below but for the sake of brevity, I have extracted a few important statements to help you understand the obligations, to which, taxpayers are being subjected without our consent or full knowledge.
To understand how insidious and treacherous this thinking has become, read the excerpts below.

OAS ROUNDTABLE, U.S. SENATOR CALLS FOR LATIN AMERICA SOCIAL AND
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT TRUST
September 17, 2008
(Excerpts)
[United States Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ), participating at an Organization of American States (OAS) forum, today called for a Latin America trust for social and economic development, which would complement existing U.S. assistance to the countries of the region….
Senator Menendez put forward the proposal as he spoke alongside another U.S. Senator, Mel Martinez (R-FL), during the 10th OAS Policy Roundtable, held at the Organization's headquarters under the title, "Opportunities and Challenges in the Western Hemisphere: Perspectives From The United States Congress."
Senator Menendez further stated that the proposed trust could be linked to a Social Investment and Economic Development of the Americas Act, now before Congress, that would provide $2.5 billion over ten years, through both the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
Menendez highlighted ongoing work to pass comprehensive immigration reform, making the case for "smart borders, not closed borders." He went on to argue that building fences harms US interests, alienates people with symbols of exclusion, and makes it less feasible to collaborate on other migration control and counter terrorism priorities.
"Rather than building fences, we need to refocus on building friendships and shared alliances, so that we can build trust and work together on immigration," he declared,]
Not to be outdone, Senator Martinez offered his own thoughts on this proposed further enslavement of the American taxpayer. I wonder if he ever thinks of the single mothers fighting to keep their children fed, or the worsening prospects for our future generations. I wonder if he ever feels compassion for the American father working two jobs to make ends meet while paying more than his fair share of the tax burden, from which, he will never benefit.
I wonder if either Senators Martinez or Menendez ever feel shame in the face of the sacrifices our citizens have already made, around the world, for the benefit of others and yet in our own time of turmoil, rather than assisting our citizens, more obligations and responsibilities are piled on their broken backs.
Is there no mercy to spare for the plight of the citizens of this nation?
[Senator Martinez stressed that "with every challenge we face in the region, we also have opportunities to promote and consolidate democracies, to promote prosperity, and to invest in people. In all of these areas we can and will continue to demonstrate our commitment to the Western Hemisphere."
Martinez also referenced the Social Investment and Economic Development of the Americas Act on which he collaborates, saying it represents "an innovative approach to addressing our commitment to the region into the next decade."]
I wrote about the Act to which they are referring; 'The Gods of Globalism – The Devil Is in the Details'. This article will give you a much broader view of their intentions and the enormous cost.
For the sake of this article, I have taken specific excerpts, but you really should look deeper to understand the real ramifications of such an Act.

A BILL
To authorize the establishment of a Social Investment and Economic Development Fund for the Americas to provide assistance to reduce poverty, expand the middle class, and foster increased economic opportunity in the countries of the Western Hemisphere, and for other purposes.

They are authorized to be appropriated to carry out this chapter, including for purposes of reducing poverty, expanding the middle class, and fostering increased economic opportunity in the countries of the Western Hemisphere, in addition to amounts of United States Foreign Assistance Funds (Function 150) otherwise authorized and appropriated and the $820,000,000 in bilateral development assistance provided by the United States, on average, to Latin America and the Caribbean each year, the following amounts:

$150,000,000 for fiscal year 2016.
$150,000,000 for fiscal year 2017.]
These activities are a disgrace. They are a shameful abuse of the good will of the citizens of this nation who have always reached out willingly to help other nations in need, but now face an uncertain financial future and deserve to be left in peace to repair our own disintegrating circumstances without being forced into further financial burden. Are we nothing more than slaves to be worked and then depleted for the greater purposes of the global good?
How have we gone from being citizens of a great nation with public servants tasked to see to our best interest, to being nothing more than unwitting cogs in the wheels of progressive socialism?
Remember this information when re-election rolls around and they come to you with smiling faces and promises they never intend to keep. Remember how you felt when the reality of the burden of reckless and ungodly spending, perpetrated on us by our elected officials, made you want to crawl into a hole and hide.
Remember how it felt to worry that you had lost your life savings and to wonder if our nation would be bankrupt by the end of the month. Remember and then vote accordingly.
Understand that the unfairly burdened American citizen deserves better then to be the unwilling slave of the 'Gods of Globalism' and that this enslavement was never the intention of our founding fathers. This constant pressure applied to us which forces us into insolvency is a blasphemy upon the face of our Constitution. Shame on any elected official who betrays our trust in this way.
Americans, stand up and elect true servants for the people as intended. Demand the respect as a citizen of this nation that you deserve. Demand that your public servants serve your best interests and not their own.

There will be no change in the status quo until the citizens of this nation dig in our heels, speak loudly and say 'No More'.
The ball is in your court now voters of Florida and New Jersey and around our great nation. You can complain or you can do something about it. Remember their actions when you vote on Election Day.
Are you Americans or are you Globalists? You cannot be both.
