DONALD TRUMP: PATRIOTS' CHOICE

In my previous article, “CNBC Idiots and the GOP,” I wrote about the October debate in Boulder, CO and the merits of Texas Senator Ted Cruz. But it needs to be pointed out that I was not, and am not, supporting Ted Cruz for President in 2016. I support Donald Trump vehemently and wholeheartedly. He is the only man in today’s political climate who is strong enough to take on the power elites of Washington, New York, Brussels, etc. and not be manipulated into subservience.
Any regard I hold for Ted Cruz is only as a backup candidate should Trump fail to show us he can win the nomination. If this were to happen, then we as patriots would need a candidate to support. That candidate, in my opinion, cannot be Ben Carson, Marco Rubio, or Jeb Bush. They all would be disasters in the White House. The power elites of the CFR would eat them alive. And our standard bearer certainly cannot be any of the remaining dwarfs on the Republican slate. If Trump should fail, Cruz (despite his flaws) is the only one with enough conservative political moxie to support for President. But, of course, we must not dwell on the negative. We must work to make sure that Donald Trump does not fail.
The Makeup of Trump
Since June of this year when Trump announced his candidacy, the talking heads of the establishment have been heaping scorn on the man like squawking crows defecate on those underneath the phone lines where they sit. The long knives have come out of the sheaths of the New York-Washington literati. Everyone is attacking Donald Trump. But why is such animosity spewing from our media, our corporations, and our academic leaders toward this bodacious entrepreneur turned politician?
Why? Because Trump represents something untamed and untamable. He represents an outsider who refuses to play the game of “politics as usual” that the good ol’ boys have been playing throughout the past 80 years. What the establishment fears about Trump is that he doesn’t need to play the role of sycophant to their corporate-banking-bureaucratic combine that rules America.
Oh, the Donald makes use of the power elite combine when he sees that it is in his best interests to do so. But he does not need the corporate-banking-bureaucratic combine like the media sycophants and academic courtiers do. He is big enough to transcend the power elites that dominate the country. Thus he cannot be bullied. And this is why the major networks hate him so. It is why Megyn Kelly and Bret Baier were oozing hostility during the first debate. It is why CNBC’s stooges, Harwood, Quick and Quintanilla, came down on him with their excruciating bias and disrespect.
Donald Trump is persona non grata in the minds of America’s perfidious elites. It’s as plain to see as cunning in the faces of Mafia thugs. His immigration plan has sent shock waves through the power corridors of Washington. Finally a presidential candidate who is willing to tell the voters the truth on immigration.
The Trump tax plan will take major steps toward stopping the disastrous redistribution of wealth that the left is using to usurp the meaning of our lives. It will end much of the overreach of Washington and its obtuse politicians. Tens of thousands of new ventures will spring up. Jobs will be created. Productivity will increase. Families will breathe easier. Bills will be less burdensome. Life will be more rewarding.
The importance of Donald Trump can be found in the fact that through the sheer force of his personality, he has opened up gaping holes in the GOP establishment’s credibility. He has declared the neocon hierarchy of the GOP to be what it is – a coterie of greedy, stupid statists that has no interest in the good of the country, only in more legislative controls and entrenchment of its power in Washington.
This is why Donald Trump is the only candidate to support for President. He has the strength of will to stand up to the collectivist power structure of America, Europe, Russia, and China. He will take no guff from the bedouin goons in the Mideast who slice off human heads like grandmothers slice oranges for breakfast. Trump has that crucial inner self-confidence that allows a man to swagger through danger and not flinch, to face lethal bullets in wartime, to stare down bullies and intimidate oppressive tyrants. Unlike the Obamas and the Bushes of humanity, Trump exudes manliness, which gives him a huge edge in human interaction.
Sure, Trump’s ego is a bit over the top and hyperbolic, but we patriots forgive him because despite all his wealth he is one of us. He is a man’s man and a full blooded patriot who is willing to pledge his life and sacred honor to the American cause. He speaks truth to power because he has lived a life of power and is not afraid of its treasonous holders on both the left and the right.
The war going on between Democrats and Republicans today is like the old Mussolini-Lenin conflicts when the Fascists and the Communists were rising to power in early 20th century Europe. It’s not a fight between advocates of freedom and advocates of statism. It’s a conflict between rival gangs of collectivists to see whose vision of massive government control will prevail. But Trump can change this because he has the strength of personality and patriotism to do so.
The Power of Personality
George Orwell wrote that, “The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it.” This is what Trump has signed onto, and he is fully aware of it. From the beginning he knew he was destined to be blistered by the media sycophants and corporate quislings who have been selling the country out for the past 50 years.
But like the fifty-six heroic patriots who signed America’s Declaration of Independence, Trump knows there is something more profound and monumental to commit one’s life substance to. It is “adherence to principle.” It is the vision of freedom and limited government that the Founders bequeathed to us. Others in the race will mouth allegiance to such a salient truth, but only Trump will be able to genuinely implement it. This is what the power of personality does. The rest of the GOP candidates cannot match Trump’s inner strength, which is so vital when contemplating who should lead the nation.
None of this, of course, is set in stone. Trump will have to follow up his very promising immigration and tax plans with several policy positions on the side of freedom and limited government as adverse to GOP business as usual. He has made clear that he stands for the strongest military in the world, but he should also make clear that though our military carries a big stick it also walks softly. It does not go abroad in search of countries to invade and brow beat into democracy.
In addition, Trump needs to open up his wallet and put a torrent of ads out there. He presently leads the pack without any real financial effort. But if he were to start spending just half the sums that Bush and Clinton are spending, he would soar to even loftier leads in the polls.

So there you have it. Trump is clearly the patriots’ choice, the only candidate with a big enough personality to stop the insanity sweeping over our country, the only candidate who can rally freedom loving Americans to care and come out to vote.
Thus we must all become Paul Reveres to convince friends and associates that it is high noon for America. The liberals have turned the country into a horrid monstrosity, and we need a new breed of politician to come to our rescue. That new breed is Donald Trump.
