Is there a written rule or law that says Fried Chicken signifies what a Black person is? Did I miss that somewhere in my travels or in all the books I’ve read?
Our First Lady, (she doesn’t deserve the honor of first lady being capitalized) told the Black citizens of this country they deserve the honor of eating not just any chicken – but fried chicken if they voted on Tuesday, Nov 4, 2014. Not only that, they didn’t have to just vote but make sure they voted for only Democrats.
She even went far enough to give the Black Americans of this country PERMISSION to eat some fried chicken after they voted.
I find her statement the most insulting thing she could have said to the Black people of this country. Does she have in her mind they are all still in the fields, have no intelligence and cannot even think for themselves. I’m actually surprised she didn’t throw in the collard greens for an added treat.
And by the way first lady, what makes you think only Black people vote Democrat or like fried chicken or collard greens for that matter? I guess I shouldn’t be surprised considering some of the other statements you have made regarding various subjects which clearly show you are a racist.
It is interesting though that you have never bothered to tell the American people why you no longer have a law license and that you will never be able to practice law again after your daddy spent all that money on you to go to law school. Even though Wikipedia still gives you the title of being a lawyer, without a license you aren’t one, only studied to be one.
But of course we must remember you were never ever happy until the day Barack was elected president. We can forget your Princeton and Harvard Law school education. Or the great jobs you had where you did next to nothing.
We do know your ancestors were slaves and that you came from the Gullah line of people from South Carolina’s low country (great people) (Wikipedia again), but your family did have and took advantage of the great opportunity to move above those types of living conditions. But White people have also – did you forget the first slaves in America were White Irish and the first slave owner was a Black African?
Maybe you madam, would do well to return to school to learn Black History Month started out as Negro History WEEK in 1926 by Carter G. Woodson a son of former slaves. The 2nd week of February was chosen in honor of Frederick Douglass and Abraham Lincoln who were both born that week. It wasn’t until 1976 when your race took over the whole month.
Even Independence Day lasts for 24 hours – maybe we should change that.
To set the record straight, the first blacks to arrive in America were not slaves, but indentured servants. There is a difference and they were both Black and White.
Indentured servants, especially whites, could (and often did) slip away, and become part of another settlement and simply disappear. A permanent, economically beneficial solution for the elites was sought and implemented.
An added note here that might be fitting is the Bible does address “social injustice”: The love of money is the root of all evil.” Nothing against money, but the love of precipitated then as it does now, misery.
Oh the name of the first Black slave owner – Anthony Johnson! He came to this country in 1620 as an indentured servant to the Colony of Virginia. He didn’t come freely as so many had but was captured in Angola by neighboring tribesmen and eventually sold to a merchant who transported him to Virginia where he was then sold to a tobacco farmer. I believe this is known as “black on black” crime!
Despite this, Johnson was not technically a slave, as most think of it. He was simply required to serve the farmer for a time in exchange for room and board. He worked on that tobacco farm for 14 years learning a trade, was granted his freedom and was also given payment for his services. He purchased land and what he needed to farm it including BLACK slaves.
So you see first lady, you did have a great deal to be thankful for and – those white Irish slaves? “The Irish slave trade began when James II sold 30,000 Irish prisoners as slaves to the New World. His Proclamation of 1625 required Irish political prisoners be sent overseas and sold to English settlers in the West Indies. By the mid 1600’s, the Irish were the main slaves sold to Antigua and Montserrat. At that time, 70% of the total population of Montserrat were Irish slaves.”
“Ireland quickly became the biggest source of human livestock for English merchants. The majority of the early slaves to the New World were actually white.”
“During the 1650s, over 100,000 Irish children between the ages of 10 and 14 were taken from their parents and sold as slaves in the West Indies, Virginia and New England. During this time, 52,000 Irish (mostly women and children) were sold to Barbados and Virginia. Another 30,000 Irish men and women were also transported and sold to the highest bidder. In 1656, [Oliver] Cromwell ordered that 2000 Irish children be taken to Jamaica and sold as slaves to English settlers.”
One piece of history that seems to get lost for some reason is that the Irish slaves are often remembered as ‘indentured servants.’ However, in most cases during the 17th and 18th centuries, they were no more than “human cattle.”
So once again first lady, you really should take a refresher course in American History and maybe the White Irish of this country will decide to celebrate for a whole month too rather than just one skinny day each year.
In fact, maybe we should be looking for some of the “booty” the Federal government has handed out to all those who like to claim they came from Black slave families. It might be a good thing to go back and really find out for sure if they were “indentured” or just called themselves slaves for the sympathy.
I know they weren’t treated very well – no one who is ever put in a situation like that is, be it here in America or some other country. However, you first lady have never had to endure anything like that and I also find it very interesting you have so much genealogy on your family given they were supposed to be slaves. Most from that far back know nothing to pass on.
By the way, I hope you gave the same chicken eating instructions to all the Democrats who are currently sitting in Congress and the Senate – I wouldn’t want them to feel left out since now there are so few of them.
And for that final History lesson – it is not “whitey” who has kept you down!

The Republican Party brought an end to slavery which led to the 13th,
14th and 15th Amendments to the Constitution.
• 1854 – (R) Party formed on the Platform
of Anti-Slavery
• 1865 – 13th Amendment to abolish slavery
– 100% R party; 23% D party
• 1866 – Civil Rights Act – enacted
by the R Party to all emancipated slaves
• 1868 – 14th Amendment – Citizenship
– 94% R party; 0% D party
• 1870 – 15th Amendment – Right
to Vote – 100% R party; 0% D party
• 1871 – Anti- KKK Civil Rights Act –
Enacted Republican Congress
• 1875 – Anti Discrimination –
99.5% R party; 0% D party
• 1957 – Civil Rights Act 1957 –
Established Civil Rights Commission – Sen. John F. Kennedy and
the D Party were opposed
• 1964 - Civil Rights Act 1964 – Passed
after cloture vote – written and introduced by Sen. Everett
McKinley (R) - 80% R party; 63% D party
As is apparent, the Democratic Party began to come around but, unfortunately, the Democratic Party chose to move on with indoctrination, manipulation, applauding abortions, telling Black Americans they couldn’t succeed and generally keeping them under the “democratic thumb of entitlement. This is the technique the “highfalutin” Black populace like the Obama’s, Schumer’s, Rev. Wright, and Jesse Jackson’s of America have and continue to use on the Black American’s in this country.

Someday they will realize it is not the White or Hispanic people living in this country who have made their lives miserable, but the Democratic Party and some of their own people.
And thank you for the permission for that fried chicken first lady – I did have some last night and it was really good. However, I heard about your remarks today so I really didn’t have your permission, nor do I ever need your permission to do anything.
One last thing! Don’t you think it is time you referred to yourself as American or did you lose your citizenship with your law license?
