MEMO TO THE "CHRISTIANS" WHO VOTED FOR BUSH: YOU'VE BEEN HAD
Today's appointment of long time Bush friend and White House counsel Alberto Gonzalez to replace John Ashcroft as United States Attorney General should render you apoplectic- but sadly it won't. This "pro-life" President just appointed a rabid pro-abort as the nation's top cop. You see, Alberto Gonzalez is the man who wrote the Texas Supreme Court decision to allow a minor girl to have an abortion without her parent's consent. Feeling a bit silly, my "Christian" friends? Perhaps you were mistaken about the "moral values" your candidate possessed? Perhaps you just didn't do your homework. Not sufficiently humiliated? Try this on- Soon to be Senate Judiciary Chairman Arlen Specter's made no secret about his plan to torpedo any attempts to appoint pro-life judges to the Supreme Court. (However unlikely that is because President Bush recently all but said that wasn't a happening thing.) Is this getting you Bush supporters upset? Why should it? Your "pro-life" president helped get Senator Arlen Specter RE-ELECTED, knowing the hard-core, big government pro-abort would likely be the next chairman of the committee that will give a thumbs up or thumbs down to Supreme Court justices. Bush rushed to Specter's rescue when it looked like the senator would lose the election against PRO-LIFE, FISCAL CONSERVATIVE candidate Pat Toomey in the Pennsylvania Republican primary. When it looked like a slam dunk for Toomey, Bush actually went to the keystone state and campaigned for.the pro-life candidate? No! Bush campaigned for SPECTER! Feeling silly, those of you who voted for the "moral values" candidate? Alberto Gonzalez as Attorney General? All the better to help with president Bush's revitalized effort to reward illegal aliens (the majority of whom are Hispanic) with his insane immigration policy. Soon after Bush's re-election a map of the crimson-colored states circulated on the internet. The Bush states were referred to as "Jesusland". The very same Jesus who said "and ye shall know them (my followers) by their fruits"? Indeed. 2004 Mary Starrett - All Rights Reserved Sign Up For Free E-Mail Alerts E-Mails
