OBAMA ALLOWING LIBYANS FROM BENGHAZI TO TRAIN IN U.S. AS PILOTS, NUCLEAR SCIENTISTS

Acting without U.S. Congress knowledge or approval, President Barack Obama's administration is now allowing Libyan nationals to come to the United States and signup for flight schools or attend American universities to train as nuclear scientists, according to reports on Wednesday by a watchdog group that's well-respected by many and feared by Inside the Beltway elites, and by a top lawmaker.

According to Judicial Watch's Corruption Chronicles, this latest disregard to a decades-old law comes only two years after the massacre of a U.S. ambassador and three other Americans by terrorists attack the U.S. mission facility in the terrorist-saturated city of Benghazi, Libya.

In 1983, during the Reagan administration, a ban went into effect following a number of incidents of terrorism perpetrated by Libyan nationals. Even after the ouster and death of that African nation's dictator -- Colonel Moammar Gaddafi -- Libya continues to be a terrorist haven for radical Muslims.

The situation has gotten so dangerous in Libya that the U.S. Embassy in it capital of Tripoli was recently abandoned because of growing violence between rival militias. Great Britain and several other foreign governments also abandoned their embassies and consulates in Libya since terrorism and civil unrest spread to all parts of that chaotic nation, according to Judicial Watch.

At a congressional hearing earlier this year, one member of the Homeland Security Department claimed that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's underlings had first requested the ban against training Libyans be lifted as far back as 2010. The Homeland Security official, Alan Bersin, also informed the committee's lawmakers that former Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano claimed she would begin working on a way to amend the Libya ban on training pilots and scientists.

"This illustrates that the administration started working to lift the ban long before the 2012 terrorist attack on the U.S. Special Mission Compound in Benghazi. Clearly, it was not enough to deter the administration from going forth with its dangerous plan," according to Judicial Watch officials.

Despite those facts, Obama has ignored the opposition of lawmakers who oppose allowing Libyans into the United States to undergo training as pilots or aeronautical engineers and flight mechanics, as well as nuclear scientists in the United States.

"Perhaps the commander-in-chief has somehow forgotten that many of the 9/11 hijackers—mostly Saudi nationals—received their training in American flights schools because our government allowed it. Have we not learned that it’s a really bad idea to help our enemies obtain skills that could later be used to attack us?" ask officials at Judicial Watch, which recently created a firestorm regarding emails it obtained regarding the IRS targeting scandal and Lois Lerner.

“The Obama Administration is turning a blind eye to real terrorist threats that exist in Libya today by carelessly forging ahead with its plan to allow Libyan pilots and nuclear scientists to study in the United States,” said House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte.

Goodlatte also accused the Obama White House of stonewalling the committee's information requests.

“The House Judiciary Committee has repeatedly sought information about the Administration’s policy reversal but political appointees at the Department of Homeland Security have stonewalled the Committee’s requests and have not articulated why it is in Americans’ best interests to change policy. Given the ongoing volatility in Libya, it is unconscionable and completely irresponsible that the Administration plans to lift a longstanding policy that protects Americans and our national security from threats in the region.”
