COURT TV ANCHOR AND
MAYOR HUSBAND HONORED BY HOMOSEXUAL PUBLICATION
December 17, 2004 Posted
1:12 AM Eastern NewsWithViews.com Gavin Newsom, Mayor San Francisco, has been named "Person of the Year" by Planet Out Magazine, a publication which caters to homosexuals, lesbians, bisexual and transgender people. Earlier this year, Mayor Newsom gained national notoriety by permitting same sex marriages in violation of California law which was later shot down by California's Attorney General (search). California's Supreme Court has now nullified more than 4,000 marriages that were illegally performed in Newsom's City by the Bay. Newsom is considered a champion of the homosexual agenda as is his wife, Court TV anchor, Kimberly Guilfoyle Newsom, who herself was a big hit in October when she filled in for her husband at the last minute at a homosexual rights dinner in San Francisco. According to SFGate.com: "Mrs. Newsom, who lives in New York and is a regular on Court TV, offered the 1,100 guests at the Empire State Pride Agenda fundraiser some unusual observations about the couple's sex life: I know that many of you wanted to see my husband and some of you had questions out there, she said. Is he hot? Yeah. Is he hung? Yeah. Is he? she said as she waved her hand, apparently to suggest bisexual. Not unless you can give a better [at this point she mimicked eating a banana] than me. Later Guilfoyle Newsom said this was just a playful response to questions that her husband is a closet homosexual. In a follow up interview, she said she was only joking about her husband's endowments and as to the question of whether or not he is homosexual, she replied, "Not unless you are better than me.'' Guilfoyle Newsom and husband, Gavin, are often referred to as the "New Camelot" as they climb the social ladder to prominence. At a gala opening of the Time Warner Center in New York in March, 2004, Guilfoyle Newsom responded, when asked by an attendee if being married to the mayor of San Francisco required her to be addressed as 'First Lady,' Guilfoyle Newsom replied, "I prefer the Italian version: prima donna." Teresa Heinz Kerry, wife of failed Democratic Presidential candidate, John Kerry (both Catholics) and rock singer Melissa Ethridge were also honorable mentions by Planet Out Magazine for their commitment and support of the homosexual and lesbian agenda. 2004 NewsWithViews.com - All Rights Reserved Sign Up For Free E-Mail Alerts E-Mails
