WHY
AND WHAT IS A REPUBLIC

Ever since the 1930s, the United States of America has been mistakenly designated a democracy. Democracy means mob rule or mobocracy that places the rights of the group or mob above the unalienable rights of the individual. The opposite of mob rule is a Constitutionally Limited Republic. That is what the founding Fathers designated the United states to be. In a republic, the sovereignty resides with “We the People.” In a republic the people have no obligation to the government. Instead, the government is designated as a servant of the people and obliged to it’s owner, “We the People.” Many elitists, progressive politicians have completely sought to reverse the roles and have been trying to make us into servants of a bloated nanny state government that rules over us from cradle to grave. (From giving social security numbers to newborns, to deciding end of life medical procedures for the elderly.)
A major goal of the framers of our Constitutionally limited republic was to avoid the dangerous extremes of mobocracy or tyranny. But what exists in today’s America is in fact a mobocracy. Article IV Section 4 of the Constitution plainly states, “The United States shall guarantee to every state in this Union a Republic form of government, and shall protect each of them against invasion. But not only is our constitution being ignored, but the exact opposite has been encouraged by both president Obama and Senator John McCain. It was president Obama who with backing from the United Nations who threatened the state of Arizona with legal action, if they exercised the sovereign right of self protection from the invading hordes of illegal immigrants pouring in of that states southern border. Senator John McCain has officially joined the ranks of those who do not honor the Constitution or our national sovereignty.
In fact, he like many in office today openly support the destructive mobocracy of today. Mr. McCain has praised the awful wave of illegal immigration demonstrators by saying “if the protesters hang tough, they will succeed in forcing Congress to liberalize immigration laws. If such demonstrations, the more likely we will prevail.” He was referring to the senate’s massive illegal-alien amnesty bill S2611 which did in fact pass. Which I believe was passed to appease the mob rule democracy pushers.
One of the long term side effects of a society that operates in the mode of a mobocracy is the gradual lowering of personal standards. Unfortunately, as personal standards decline the government uses that as an excuse, or reason to take more control and overregulate all aspects of our lives. Thus, the inclination to pursue greatness in our personal lives is dramatically reduced. In a democracy or mobocracy, it is all about the group or herd and less and less about you the individual. A constitutionally limited republic however emphasizes the importance and rights of the individual. Under the umbrella of a constitutionally limited republic the government is not set up to abuse your God given unalienable rights. There should be no government control and handouts which make individuals dependent upon government for their lives. The unique original setup of the United States of America was to encourage the free pursuit of personal growth and achievement as you discover and build upon your God given abilities and personal goals.
In order to have a great nation, we as individuals must first be great. For a nation is only as great as her people. The greater you are, the less you need the big overseeing government which only by nature seeks to dominate you and tell you how to think, eat, teach your children, to pray or not to pray, etc.
As former president George W. Bush once said, you’re the decider. So my fellow Americans, the decision is up to you. Do you want a great and blessed land of opportunity under a constitutionally limited republic? Or are you comfortable with more of the massive ongoing decline in every aspect of existence via the balkanized mobocracy in operation?
