There was a time in this country that when a murdering desperado had been tracked down and smacked down by a righteous barrage of lead; his carcass was propped up on a board in front of the sheriff’s office or local saloon and prominently displayed as an example to other hard cases who might choose to prey upon the lives and property of innocent folk.
Since little thought was given to a dignified repose of a no account outlaw such public displays of the deceased gave gawkers time to verify that a scourge had in fact been removed from their midst while concomitantly satisfying their morbid inclines to goggle the riddled remains. After such frivolity and fun and a provision of ample time for the frontier photographers to etch the departed’s features upon their tintypes for posterity amid the flash and smoke of burning powder, the decomposing outlaw’s remains were loaded onto a buckboard and trundled up boot hill where he was deposited amid the subterranean digs of those who had preceded him in the journey to the smoky pits.
I have no recollection of a disposal of a lawless tyrant by other than what has been described, but cannot with certitude preclude at least a remote possibility that one or another of these bold outlaws might have been afforded - in deference to political correctness, religious preference, a local sheriffs fear that he might have killed the wrong man, or a president’s re-election - a burial at sea.
Well...You say, “This is just silly the inland locations most certainly would have prohibited such disposals in any regard.” Hey! Who is to say that such is impossible? Was Bin Laden killed on the sea shore? - Where there is a will there is way, one must just be inventive of mind and work with materials at hand. In lieu of canvas the corpse could have easily been sewn into burlap. In lieu of a ship the wrapped cadaver could have been, since helicopters had not been invented, transported by prairie schooner to an inland lake and there transferred to a row boat, rowed to the middle of a lake where he was slipped beneath the foamy brine.
It certainly makes sense to me, at least as much sense as the official white house telling of the so-called killing of Osama Bin Laden, an account that has what has to be absolutely the most gullible people in the world dancing in the streets.
Thinking people - and one wonders anymore where we are going to find such in this society - about now should be asking the hard questions and demanding evidence. A good observer of human behavior ought to have noted some oddities here that beg for clarification. One of these is Obama’s Sunday evening - near midnight - announcement of the retroactive killing of the world’s longest standing criminal terrorist. This cat seems to have nine lives, and reportedly has used up at least three of them in the last ten years. I am looking for another of his resurrections at any time.
The foremost and most suspect aspect of this story is in the telling by Barack Obama, the world’s greatest fabricator and spinner of fables. The fact is that if his lips are moving it is irrefutable evidence that he is lying.
The second clue that there is a skunk in the woodpile is the staggeringly questionable account of the disposal of the body, bundled up and dumped into the ocean! what kind of ineptitude on the part of the U.S. military, the federal law enforcement agencies, and the U.S. intelligence services is this? And here I thought that the people of this country had watched so much C.S.I. that they were savvy to the scientific techniques available in regard to the identification and preservation of dead bodies and the forensic proficiencies at hand to the investigation into the particulars that brought about the terminal condition of the deceased.
Where are the brains of the people of this nation? In view of the fact that Barack (Barry the fake) Obama has gotten by with the most egregious of lies and has pawned off the most obvious and amateurishly constructed forged documents in regard to his birth, and yet maintains the undying support of all of the media and fifty percent of the people tells me that they are sitting on them.
A real clue as to what this is all about was evidenced by the liberalist press that holds sway over the peddling of disinformation in behalf of their messiah Barry the fake.
To watch George Stephanopoulos of ABC and his delusive comrades of the other networks, including Fox News, was to quickly determine the real cause of the seemingly fabricated particulars of the death of Osama Bin Laden.
George, this groveling little lickspittle of the social progressives was in full campaign mode in behalf of his worshipful master and irreverent pal. His repetitive prattling about Obama’s brilliance and the single-handed bringing to justice of this notorious fugitive was enough to provoke the gag reflex of enlightened viewers, but the less enlightened - bless their deceived and simple little hearts - ate up the lies with a spoon and begged for more.

Oh for a return to the days of yesteryear when plain folk had the sense to demand the truth, and would have wanted to view with their own eyes that a tyrant had been erased. They would have looked upon the mangy corpse and been thankful for his departure from the human race. The only ones dancing in the streets would have been the barefoot urchins whose practical parents had not the foolishness to engage a psychologist to help them to cope with the death of an outlaw.
