Just
in time for Super Bowl XLVII (47) weekend, the White House releases
a picture of Obama holding a gun, proclaiming
"… up at Camp David, we do skeet shooting all the time …"
Wow!
What a revelation folks. Lest we've all forget that comment made by
Obama during his run to be the first illegal alien resident of the White
House and Oval Office, in addressing small town Pennsylvanians; that
they were bitter people clinging to their guns and religion!
Let's
take a good look at the picture of Obama shooting skeet at Camp David.
The picture, as released can
be found here. Since we aren't supposed to reproduce it, etc, open
it in a separate window, so you can refer to it often as you read what
follows.
Under
the picture is this caption,
This
official White House photograph is being made available only for publication
by news organizations and/or personal use printing by the subject(s)
of the photograph. The photograph may not be manipulated in any way
and may not be used in commercial or political materials, advertisements,
emails, products, promotions that in any way suggests approval or endorsement
of the President, the First Family, or the White House.
All
you naysayers out there, you got that—no making fun of this picture;
no photoshopping it; no Obama showing up in panties, or with banners
hanging from the gun barrel, or flowers shooting out the barrel, or
… well, you get the picture.
Rather
makes you wonder what's wrong with the picture, doesn't it?
Well,
as it turns out, there is plenty wrong with the picture.
First,
the gun you are looking at, in the picture, is a Browning Citori 625
12-gauge Sporting Shotgun. Pictures of this gun can be found here and

The second link shows the best up-close pictures of the gun.
The
first thing that struck me, in looking at this picture of Obama, was
how Obama had the gun cradled (shouldered) against his shoulder/arm.
Ever seen what happens when someone shoulders a gun that way? I can
guarantee you that anyone shouldering a 12-gauge like that would only
do it once. Not only would their cheek hurt when the gun recoiled into
it, but their shoulder/arm would be so sore and so bruised.
Note
that having supposedly just touched-off, Obama doesn't even flinch as
that gun supposedly recoils. In fact, there's really no indication the
gun is recoiling at all. It appears to be resting on his shoulder/arm.
No recoil to be seen there! Yet a 12-gauge carries a pretty stiff recoil
or kick; even with a good butt pad, kicks like a mule definitely
comes to mind. Having touched off, you definitely know you've just shot
a 12-gauge. As the shoulder tends to stop the backward force (recoil)
of the gun, the muzzle of the gun tends to kick up. And, if you aren't
prepared for that recoil, it can definitely sit you on your backside!
Yet you don't see that in the picture. Albeit the gun is ported, the
purpose of porting a shotgun of this type—with the ports on the
upper half of the barrel—is to reduce muzzle rise for faster target
recovery rather than reducing recoil, although a slight reduction in
recoil is felt. Someone suggested maybe the reason we see no recoil
is because Obama was shooting blanks! No pun intended, of course!
Now
look at his stance. As one firearms expert explained,
You
point a shotgun, you aim a rifle by holding it across your body.
So
why, pray tell, is Obama aiming this shotgun?
Obama
would have Americans believe that he shoots skeet at Camp David all
the time; the insinuation being that he knows how to handle a gun.
Really?
Why do I doubt that claim?
When
you pull in on a target, you align the rear sight, front sight and the
target with your eye. Now look at the picture of Obama. If you draw
a straight line from the top of the front sight—what Obama would
be looking over as he lined up on his target, and Obama's left eye,
you will discover that the front sight is obscured by the rear sight
on the gun. In other words, supposedly sighting down the barrel, Obama
couldn't even see the front sight of the gun, let alone the
target.
This
sporting shotgun carries a barrel configuration of over/under –
one barrel above, one below. When shooting
skeet, as Obama claims he does "all the time" when at
Camp David, one discharges both barrels, one right after the other at
clay discs, also known as clay pigeons, discharged into the
air from two different angles and two differing heights. That being
the case, why is there a choke in the upper barrel but none in the lower
barrel?
And
the clays are discharged in such manner as to project them in an arcing
motion, starting out lower, rising into the air and falling to earth
at a distance; during that arcing flight is when the skeet shooter tries
to shatter the clay by hitting it was pellets from the shotgun cartridge.
So why is Obama's gun being discharged on the level? Maybe it's a new
kind of skeet shooting just for Obama!
In
looking at the picture, we see a plume of smoke exiting the muzzle itself
and exiting the top of the gun, forward the muzzle. Obama must have
been shooting black powder to produce that much smoke! Beyond that,
the Browning 625 is ported forward the muzzle, four holes on each side,
eight each barrel. In the picture of Obama, you can see where those
port holes are on the gun – they appear as a slightly different
colored segment on the gun barrel, right below where you see the plume
of smoke. But notice the smoke – it's only emanating from dead
center of those ports. Strange, the outer two ports, one forward, one
aft, must have been plugged – the only plausible explanation for
why that plume is only emanating from the center two ports on both sides
of the barrel! A good picture of what those ports look like, and where

Now,
supposedly, this picture of Obama shooting the Browning carries a date
stamp of August 4, 2012 – supposedly the occasion of Obama's 51st
birthday if we are to believe his forged birth certificate.
According
to a Reuter's article,
released on August 4, 2012, 4:52 p.m., Obama spent his day on the golf
course at Andrews AF Base; going by Marine One (helicopter) the evening
of August 4, 2012 to Camp David where he had his birthday dinner and
spent the evening with wife, Michelle. Interestingly, the article also
states,
…
it was not clear whether they [referring to the Obamas] would
be present at the rustic getaway [referring to Camp David]
that the Obamas have visited less than past White House residents.
But
Obama would have us believe that, "… up at Camp David, we
do skeet shooting all the time …" From another source,
Obama qualified his statement, about shooting skeet at Camp David, by
saying, "Not the girls, but oftentimes guests of mine go up there."
So, no skeet shooting goes on when "the girls" are there?
But one of the "girls" was there on August 4, 2012 so can
we conclude that, in the evening hours of August 4, 2012, no skeet shooting
happened? Time constraints would certainly suggest such.
I
know—they must have figured that picture might come in handy down
the road, so Obama ran quick and got "in costume," they ran
out there, posed Obama quick with the gun, set the film running, Obama
discharged the gun, and viola, the picture. Then they ran back inside
where Obama and wife enjoyed his birthday dinner. When releasing the
picture seemed a good political move, the story was concocted to go
with it. No sarcasm intended, of course!
While
the claim being made is that the picture was released after it was questioned
whether Obama had ever even held a gun, the timing of the release is
interesting, to say the least.
And
the mainstream media, so eager to promote every little facet of Obama's
Marxist policies, even though they will be enslaved by those same Marxist
policies, has been blasting that picture around the country with glee.
That the media was so easily led by this picture is rather indicative
of their ignorance of guns.
With
regard to these media pundits, isn't supporting policies that will enslave
oneself the definition of mental insanity? Considering that most of
the shooters have had connections to liberal progressive (i.e., communist)
ideology, maybe we need to pass a law forbidding liberals from owning
guns for the safety of all law-abiding citizens!

obviously, irrespective of his comment about bitter people clinging
to their guns and religion, Obama—aided by the mainstream media—now
wants gun-owners in America to believe he's just one of the them, looking
out for their best interests.
Sorry,
Obama, I'm not buying your deceit. Not today, not tomorrow, not ever.
From
what has been going around the internet for the past three days, neither
do other law-abiding gun owners who have a real problem with your I-know-best-what-is-good-for-you-poor-dumb-masses
attitude.
