When transporting such deadly chemicals by rail, why wasn’t the train going slower? Why weren’t the tracks checked for defects? Why hadn’t Norfolk Southern maintained the utmost in maintenance for such a deadly cargo being transported on its tracks? Why weren’t standards in place to make sure that such a tragedy never happened?
While listening to NPR over the weekend, Scott Simon casually announced that the United States of America in the past 12 months, via Joe Biden and Congress, imported 100,000 Ukrainian refugees. He flew them 8,000 miles to our country, put them up in hotels, spread them across the nation and will be feeding them for the foreseeable future. Who paid for all of it? Answer: your tax dollars!
In a few words, I think our country is TOO big, TOO complicated, TOO fast, TOO multiculturalized, TOO crazy and going more insane by the day. And, as this system adds more human misery and humans without purpose or community connection…it can only worsen in the years ahead.
As you know, Biden and Congress have invited over 6.6 million refugees into our country within the past 25 months. The next 24 months with Biden’s push to leave our borders open to anyone and everybody will result in another 6.6 million people. That’s over 13.2 million added people and another 4.0 million of their babies.
Let’s face it, Joe Biden has been blowing hot air and shaking hands with other politicians for over 50 years in that den of thieves, liars and cheats called Washington DC. Notice how they promise to solve America’s problems during their stump speeches, but when it comes down to brass tacks, they fail the American people on all fronts.

Whether it’s the president or his handlers, who must be as senile as he is, or it’s the woke crowd—or it’s simply all too much to grasp. Later, I rode up on Monkey Mia Beach where I discovered some people playing with dolphins racing around in the water. The Aussies invited me to play with the dolphins, too. When you see that the President of the United States must use a cue card to tell him where to sit, stand, speak and shake hands—you might deduce that this country lacks a competent leader. When you see him reading a teleprompter and repeating at the end of a quote, and he reads it, “…end of quote”, you might figure out that he doesn’t know what he’s doing or what he’s saying.
Most Americans go about their daily lives by eating breakfast, going to work for eight to 10 hours per day, and driving home to dinner with their families. Most Americans don’t really know what’s going on in Washington DC, because the mainstream media hides pertinent information that affects us now, and into the future.
With my last column titled, “America’s Ethicality, Morality and Decency Quotient Spiraling Into The Toilet” July 14, 2022, your responses dropped in like paratroopers landing in France during WWII. Many of you expressed your fury as to what’s happening to our country. Others felt saddened.
It means we’re losing the basic tenants of bringing up our children to be responsible, honest and contributing adults in America. It means that we all pay for that $52 billion in stolen goods annually. It means that anyone of us can get killed by felons let back onto the streets.
We see our baby boomers as the fattest, most obese generation ever on the face of the planet. We’re seeing their kids following in their footsteps. We’ve got millions upon millions of kids tattooing their bodies into total “ink disfigurement.” And, countless millions of kids addicted to cell phones, so much so, they can’t operate without those phones.
This country faces some really nasty events in the near future. We’ve got useless politicians who won’t prosecute criminals, an absolutely senile president who lacks any understanding of what he is doing, and his “handlers” are as incompetent as he is, and, to tell you the truth from my position…nothing is going to change for the better.
If you look at cities like San Francisco, Los Angeles and Chicago…you’re watching dying cities. It’s amazing to me that we saw Detroit, Michigan “die” in the 80’s and 90’s from lawless tribalism by minorities, and now, we’re seeing it repeat in our other big cities.
When the woman who wrote me for solutions to the homeless problem in Los Angeles, she described her feelings of “homeless fatigue.” Yes, we must possess compassion for hundreds of thousands of Americans who either became homeless by their own poor choices, or by the economy and loss of jobs, and/or drug and mental problems.
For the record, America suffers from a documented 540,000 homeless people. They languish in the streets of our big cities, in the woods, in U-Haul storage lockers, in tents, in abandoned trailers, in vacant warehouses and in just about every state in the Union. They are white, black, brown, veterans, men, women and children. They are alcoholics, drug addicts and run-away teens from abusive households.
Without a doubt, the United States stands eyeball deep in trouble in 2022. It’s not only the gas prices, food prices and tremendous political divide—it’s also about the loss of the rule of law, common decency of citizens toward one another in the big cities, and most importantly, a loss of loyalty to our country.
In speaking with a retired cop friend, he says that places like LA, Chicago, New York, Miami are what cops call self-cleaning ovens. As EBT cards stop, food stops, money system fails, like Rats in BF Skinner’s experiment, they will self-clean. I see it beginning with massive uptick in violence in Miami. The key is to be a couple tanks of gas away from any of those places.
To each of you who write me responses. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Sandi and I are doing the best we can as to Alzheimer’s. As to the racial equity push, United Airlines reported that it will have 50 percent “people of color” in the cockpit within two decades. They stated that too many airlines pilots are white. It begs the question: when did skin color qualify anyone to pilot a 747 jetliner?

In April, I spent most of my time in Arizona. It’s hot, dry, suffering from severe drought, with spontaneous wildfires, and temperatures in the summer at 120 degrees. To walk outside equates to jumping from your air-conditioned house into a frying pan.

We look in vain for a Ronald Reagan, a Lincoln or Teddy Roosevelt. Instead, we find corrupt clowns like wizened Nancy Pelosi, Commissar Ocasio-Cortez (the Cuban pinup girl selling socialist snake oil) and our president – a cranky septuagenarian slipping noisily into senility.

Do you think one single Senator or House member has or will stop the flood of barbiturates, ecstasy, fentanyl, and heroin? Answer: NO! Who suffers? You and your kids.

Every day in America, men kill three women in domestic violence incidents. In Muslim lands, annually, men kill 20,000 of their of wives or daughters known as “honor killings” because the women said or did something that displeased the savages of that peaceful and delicate religion.
All I know stems from the fact that children, mothers and old people face death daily from an invasion of Ukraine. Additionally, those young conscripted Russian boys die like flies. Those young and old Ukrainian men die by the thousands. Over 2,000,000 refugees flee to surrounding countries. What’s to become of them? Who is right? Who is wrong? Is Putin a hero? Is he a monster?
While all of the above is quite true, the summation of the DOE leaves out the important fact that during the Trump administration, we were completely independent of foreign oil. And now we once again rely on the Arabs, Russia, Venezuela, Mexico and others, and import a huge percent of our energy needs.
Every veteran reading this column knows that there are no heroes in wars. If you lucked out, a bullet didn’t have your name on it. For every guy on the Vietnam Memorial Wall, a bullet, bomb, napalm or shrapnel carried that kid’s name on it. If that bullet missed you, you’ve enjoyed a long and hopefully, fulfilling life.
The miracle is, how did he do it with a straight face? How could he stand in front of all the members of Congress and a dwindling American audience of only 30 percent approval rating—and tell us what a wonderful job he’s done?

The lawlessness rises right up the Joe Biden White House. He invited 2,000,000 lawbreakers into our country in 2021. He’s still in violation of his oath of office in 2022 as he continues to break our laws. If the President of the United States won’t enforce our laws, that’s a pretty good indication that we’re becoming an endemically lawless society.
On February 7, 2022, the Washington Post editorial board wrote one of the most absurd, if not completely senseless, editorials to come out of that paper in the past 20 years. It’s titled: “The U.S. Needs More Immigrants and More Babies.”
In 2019, I bicycled through San Francisco to see it for myself. The streets reeked with feces, rotten food, rat droppings, needles, trash everywhere and urine. When I pedaled through Los Angeles, it was almost beyond imagination how anyone could live in such human misery.
For the record, my wife Sandi and I live day to day with a sense of hope and harmony. We exercise, do our jobs, fix dinner, watch movies and contribute to our community in Golden, Colorado. We enjoy friends, go dancing and laugh a lot. We’re grateful for all our blessings.
Each day, Joe Biden and Congress import an average of 10,000 legal and illegal third world immigrants into our country. They can’t speak English. They lack any educational background. They carry corrosive cultural practices. They head toward the welfare and food stamp offices of each city where Biden flies them.
If any politician tries to stop the human trafficking, sex trade or drug trade, they kill them, and/or their family members. Guys like the drug lord Al Chapo kill with impunity. With all the billions of dollars in the hands of the rich and powerful, the average Mexican lacks a 6th grade education. They murder police officers who get into their way.
For the past several years, Hollywood and TV celebrities continually trash the United States at every juncture. Ironically, most of them attained millionaire status from their “make-believe” jobs of acting. Few of them ever picked up a shovel to actually work a real job that makes America viable.
Let’s face the facts: The president of our country—Joe Biden invited-allowed-encouraged 2,000,000 illegal alien migrants to violate our borders in 2021. Our U.S. Border Patrol documented that fact. That’s 2.0 million people who unlawfully jumped our borders. They arrived from 160 countries.
What’s happening to Western Countries cannot continue if we hope to hold a shred of freedom and/or viability for future generations. When respect for the rule of law diminishes to a point of what’s happening in Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, St. Louis, Baltimore and Los Angeles—those are the markers that lead us into a lawless society.
If Joe Dementia Biden or his handlers keep him from dealing with reality, it means our country will be dealing greater consequences down the road. I’m reminded of Eleanor Roosevelt’s famous quote: “We must prevent human tragedy rather than run around trying to save ourselves after an event has already occurred.
And yet, no one does anything to stop it. A female black law attorney of Chicago gives a pardon to every hardened criminal that comes across her desk. Mayor Lori Lightfoot cannot and will not solve the “Murder Zone” of Chicago. We’re talking ineptitude, incompetence and corruption at the highest levels.
Can you imagine all those trans-athletes with five o’clock shadows, hairy arms and a package between their loins arriving at the athletic event in dresses, high heels and makeup? Good grief! What a show! After they set new “Trans-records” in the butterfly, crawl, and breaststroke, etc., they could all hug each other and give butterfly kisses because they are so happy for each other.
The invective today has a much broader connotation, meaning essentially that the accused is not on board the woke / critical race theory bandwagon. So, if you don't hate whites in general, you're a racist. Ironically, this means that unless you are a racist, you are therefore a racist.
On January 6, 2021, an estimated 700 American citizens broke into the U.S. Capitol. They didn’t carry guns or firebombs or heavy artillery. At the very most, history will call it a spontaneous “riot.” One female suffered a gunshot death by a capitol police officer. One officer suffered a heart attack.
