MEET ME IN PENSACOLA, FLORIDA

They are mostly obscure, unknown individuals, and they are quite scattered and totally unorganized. It would be nice if the remnant could get together once in awhile, if for nothing else but to say and hear, 'We love you, and we're with you.' You tell me, however, how and where does even that happen?"
As a result of that column, scores of people responded saying, "Chuck, I'll meet you anywhere, just name the time and place." I was quite overwhelmed with the response.
Ok, here goes. Meet me in Pensacola, Florida on November 3-4, 2002. November 3 is a Sunday. It just happens to be the 9th annual God & Country Day at Crossroad Baptist Church. This is an old-fashioned, patriotic, flag-waving, and God-honoring church rally reminiscent of the spirit in colonial America.
Special guests include Larry Pratt, executive director of Gun Owners of America. Larry is an articulate spokesman for constitutional government and individual liberty. He is also an ardent Christian.
Joining Larry Pratt is former Congressman Joe Scarborough. Joe was part of that great freshman class of '94. He is as courageous and passionate about liberty as ever.
Also appearing will be John Wayne impersonator Gene Howard. You won't believe your eyes or your ears! When Gene performs, you will swear The Duke is still alive! It will be worth the trip to hear "John Wayne" talk about God and freedom.
Then, plan on staying overnight, and on Monday you and I will meet together informally in order to get to know each other, encourage each other, and share ideas. Who knows what will come out of that? If nothing else, it will give us a chance to actually be around people who have not been robotized by the major media and the two major parties. Of course, each person attending is responsible for his or her own expenses.
