Highway Of Faith

The very nature of vanity is rebellious and selfish. It follows that the more wrong you become, the more your guilt draws you away from the “awful” Truth, toward the false fulfillment of escape. You are compelled to follow the path of surrender to selfish desires, partly because it is your way of escaping and rebelling against conscience, and partly because that is how the false ego-identity reinforces itself.
By now the lesson should be clear. You can never find the fulfillment you are seeking in selfish love; you can find it only through sacrificial love, inclining your soul to the God of common sense, for that is the highway of Faith.
Ultimately, you cannot escape Reality. The Holy Spirit exists—ever-present, all-knowing, a true Spirit represented in you by the guidance of conscience and the testimony it gives against all the acts of pride.
There is no one who does not know Truth, only those who will not realize it. The rebel works harder and harder to complete his evil, as though he were completing a great good through arousing his own flesh with various sensual affections and indulgences.
You may experience many profound personal revelations, about which I cannot speak; but first, you must be well-grounded. Second, you must arrive at these discoveries yourself, or you will not receive the reward of life. As one who has progressed to experience such insights, I find that they work for me and through me.
I see things from a more detached viewpoint than most people do, mostly because, thank God, I am a little closer to the Source. I perceive in a wordless way, and I cannot explain how I arrive at my decisions. I perceive the divisive maneuvering of others. I see people making wrong decisions, doing dumb things, and I marvel at their blindness!
I see their “cleverness” backfire, and I see their timing fail. I shout warnings; yet most cannot hear or believe or heed those warnings, because even in their moment of greatest need, their greed and passion blind them to Reality. That is why we must not want anything other than what is right in our hearts; that is the only way that we can see through our folly and abandon the selfish way.
The Creator alone is the Beginning and the End. Our soul’s existence depends on our knowing what we need to know through Him, moment by moment. The substance of insight is drawn to our minds and hearts in reply to our yearning for help with the problems of growing up, inwardly and outwardly. We are, in a sense, slave units to the infinite knowing of the universe.
We can know, or grow, in a meaningful way in reply to a need, when this need looks for satisfaction only from the God we love; otherwise, we may find ourselves selfishly crying out for satisfaction from the world itself. In our pride, we enter a different system of things, wherein we are forever selling ourselves, completing ourselves in an earthy, sensuous way as we search for some imagined glory.
“Evil, and evil alone, will serve a need that is born of greed. The selfish person grows not as a human being, but as a weed.”
Our love of people, places, and things is a measure of where we are on our journey. The less interest we have in the usual pleasures, the more love (need) we have for the Divine. And God rewards this need with a safe life; a happy, contented, peaceful spirit; a happy home; and an abundance that does not come by way of greed and pride.
God’s presence speaks to you without words. His direction to your mind is like light to the eye. Your conscious mind sees and knows, yet knows not why it sees and knows. Yet the forces of the antichrist feel your knowing, and they react with terror to your innocence and faith. You may not know what it is you have, but you will know when you have lost it, by the sudden acceptance of the enemy.
For the little while that you, a child of Light, live by what sustains the fallen nature of mankind, you will experience the horror of what it is that has the people of this world in its grip. They, of course, do not perceive the terror, because they cannot and will not face the truth. But when they come face to face with the goodness incarnate in you, they can no longer turn their backs—then, they know terror.
They feel the terror of being pulled into the Light, even as you felt the terror of being pulled into the spirit of the world. Now, with merry eyes twinkling, you must stand firm, for evil cannot live in the presence of good.
Armageddon is coming soon. The good people of all races, colors, and creeds are being called out to line up against the bad. The world is beginning to polarize along the dividing line between good and evil. As it has been in the past, the catalyst will be the now-reborn nation of Israel. I cannot tell you more.
