OBAMA, REID, PELOSI AND HEALTHCARE

Despite an abundance of evidence to contradict their preconceived opinion, the Obama administration and the Democrat Party leadership have coerced themselves into a false sense of entitlement and competence.
Once upon a time, our founding fathers were reluctantly dragged to the epiphany that in the wake of “a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them [the people] under absolute despotism.” Unenthusiastically at first, they acknowledged “it is their right; it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security.”
One would hope and pray we have not yet reached that frosty Rubicon’s bank. However, the unbridled arrogance of the boy king and his minions in the Democrat majority is setting new unfortunate standards. Before we immerse in the dots and tittles, the he said/she saids and the pontificating neener-neener-neeners, let’s remember some basics about this separation of powers thing…
The framers in their wisdom crafted a republic that consists of three branches of government. Not just three separate and distinct branches of government but three CO-equal branches of government: Executive, Judicial and Legislative.
Each branch has specific duties and responsibilities. Sure various presidents have grabbed for more power than authorized and congress has flat out hidden from their responsibility to declare war. Modern judiciaries have attempted to legislate from the bench (and at times have succeeded). However, the key point that needs underscoring is there ARE three co-equal branches of government and none is greater than the sum of its parts.
After a year of the Obama administration it has become increasingly evident that this administration must have missed a few civics classes along the way. This administration continues to maintain an imperial pretension that isn’t even playing well with the disillusioned base.
ObamaReidPelosi seem intent on ignoring the screams of both friends and foes and every polling outfit with a computer. The troika is Jonesing to push health-care reform despite overwhelming opposition because…because they can.
Forget all that hyperbolic fiction about bipartisanship…this is Chicago rules as outlined by Sean Connery to Kevin Cosner in ‘The Untouchables’.
Even one of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s floor whips, U.S. Rep. Stephen Lynch, cautions against parliamentary gamesmanship. He says the proposed Pelosi finesse (that ‘deemed’ passed without a vote charade) would be “disingenuous” and harm the credibility of Congress.
Beyond the daunting battle in Congress the tone deaf administration is even picking fights with the Supreme Court? Jan Crawford writing for CBS News likewise is confused as to why the Obama gang maintains such a counter intuitive aggression for picking a fight with the Supremes.
The eclectic mythology of Barack Obama is frankly suffering from the harshness of reality as legions of sycophants and defenders of the indefensible are now seeking plausible deniability safe havens. Good luck!
“Governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it.” No, that is not a Tea Party gauntlet hitting the ground…that quote is from the Declaration of Independence.
Most reasonable people in both main political parties don’t want to really cause another revolution. Indeed in the words of the Declaration, “experience hath shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.”
However, there IS a point of diminishing return and the egregious conduct of both the executive and legislative branches is fueling a domestic and foreign angst that potentially could destroy the republic.
The
deem and pass maneuver is fraud. It “says we can vote for healthcare
but you can go home and say you didn’t vote for it. It is a trick.
I don’t think the American people are going to be fooled by it
at all,” Hoekstra says.
Pelosi’s tactics are bad leadership, bad policy, and bad politics
guaranteed to return like acid reflux.

There are consequences to the things we do in life…good things and bad things. Consequences are inevitable, not just for misbehaving children or stubborn hunting dogs. Americans voted for ‘change’ because they were annoyed at the Bush White House. What do you think they will do when they personify their outrage and contempt with the policy and tactics of ObamaReidPelosi?
The president promised he would make this bill process transparent, so the American people can see how good of a bill and how good of a policy this is. Instead, unable to dazzle us with brilliance he persists in baffling us with B.S. garnished with a smarmy “Trust me!”
