During this unprecedented persecution of President-Elect Donald Trump, we continue to hear members of the Democrat/Communist Party USA bellow “No one is above the law.”

Let’s look at the law: 8 U.S. Code § 1324a – Unlawful employment of aliens

(a) Making employment of unauthorized aliens unlawful

(1) In general

It is unlawful for a person or other entity—

(A) to hire, or to recruit or refer for a fee, for employment in the United States an alien knowing the alien is an unauthorized alien (as defined in subsection (h)(3)) with respect to such employment, or

(B) (i) to hire for employment in the United States an individual without complying with the requirements of subsection (b) or (ii) if the person or entity is an agricultural association, agricultural employer, or farm labor contractor (as defined in section 1802 of title 29), to hire, or to recruit or refer for a fee, for employment in the United States an individual without complying with the requirements of subsection (b).

(2) Continuing employment. It is unlawful for a person or other entity, after hiring an alien for employment in accordance with paragraph (1), to continue to employ the alien in the United States knowing the alien is (or has become) an unauthorized alien with respect to such employment.”

Simply put: It is in violation of federal immigration law to hire an illegal alien, period. That’s why E-Verify was created – to assist employers with making sure they weren’t violating federal immigration law. Here in Texas, it’s a bad joke. Only state agencies and contractors are required to use E-Verify. Thank you, former governor Rick Perry and damn glad you’re gone.

Abbott refuses to call up the Texas State Militia. I’ve covered this many times. By not forcing E-Verify he’s encouraging illegals to cross the border and find employment in our state. Yes, Abbott continues to send buses of illegal aliens to Chicago, but unless and until you take away the financial incentive, the hordes will keep coming.

No one is above the law? Then why were none of the presidents or CEO’s below arrested and indicted for aiding and abetting an illegal alien they knew was here illegally? From my April 2010 column, Illegal aliens: declaring war on the enablers.

County Gives $100k To Group That Aids Illegal Immigrants April 20, 2010

“In a disgraceful waste of tax dollars, a community group that assists illegal immigrants in the U.S. and helps them evade arrest has received $100,000 from a county that ironically has increased immigration enforcement in the last year.

“The public funds went to Progreso Hispano, a nonprofit in Fairfax Virginia that proudly helps illegal aliens and aims to empower them and improve the quality of their lives and communities. The charity also counsels illegal immigrants who get arrested and offers a handy guide for “undocumented” residents dealing with federal agents.

“Progreso Hispano openly advises the areas illegal aliens to refrain from providing government officials with information about their immigration status, not to carry papers from another country, not to open the door if authorities come to their home, not to run and to sway co-workers to collectively remain silent and ask for an attorney in the event of an immigration raid.

“The Fairfax County Supervisors that recently approved the public funds aren’t bothered by Progreso Hispano’s work and predict it won’t negatively affect future allocations, according to the local newspaper that broke the story this week. One supervisor says she has no problem with “extending outreach” that informs people on how to comply with the law.”

Providing financial aid to an illegal alien is in violation of federal immigration law.

8 USC 1324[a](1)(A)[iv][b](iii) – Bringing in and harboring certain aliens

Section (B) A person who violates subparagraph (A) shall, for each alien in respect to whom such a violation occurs—

(i) in the case of a violation of subparagraph (A)(i) or (v)(I) or in the case of a violation of subparagraph (A)(ii), (iii), or (iv) in which the offense was done for the purpose of commercial advantage or private financial gain, be fined under title 18, imprisoned not more than 10 years, or both;

(ii) in the case of a violation of subparagraph (A)(ii), (iii), (iv), or (v)(II), be fined under title 18, imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both;

(iii) in the case of a violation of subparagraph (A)(i), (ii), (iii), (iv), or (v) during and in relation to which the person causes serious bodily injury (as defined in section 1365 of title 18) to, or places in jeopardy the life of, any person, be fined under title 18, imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both; and (Sanctuary cities that release KNOWN violent illegal aliens out onto the streets)

(iv) in the case of a violation of subparagraph (A)(i), (ii), (iii), (iv), or (v) resulting in the death of any person, be punished by death or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, fined under title 18, or both.”

State legislatures that have passed a “law” which allows an illegal alien to get a driver’s license are putting Americans in jeopardy because illegals if not caught, just skip back across the border after killing you or your family. Every one of those legislators is guilty and should be punished. And I believe reading the statute, families can sue them personally, not a city. The statute says ANY person. Elected officials and appointed judges are not exempted.
