[Note: As I have written before, the next stage on the path to the world currency in 2018 would be moving from monetary union to fiscal union. In that regard, The New York Times (December 9) reported that “all 17 members of the European Union that used the euro agreed to the new [intergovernmental] treaty” that would do just that. The 17 were joined by 9 other members of the European Union, and The New York Times explained that “twenty years after the Maastricht Treaty, which was designed not just to integrate Europe but to contain the might of a united Germany, Berlin had effectively united Europe under its control….” This would also fit within the Secret Nazi Plan about which I have written.]

In March 2011, Sen. John McCain warned of the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) leading to a “more extreme” form of government in the Middle East and North Africa. And the results of the Egyptian elections as of December 4 are that Islamists have won 65% of the vote with the MB Freedom and Justice Party taking 36.62% and the Salafists’ al-Nur Party 24.36%. According to Egyptian Reformist presidential hopeful Mohamed ElBaradei in Al Arabiya News (December 4), the youth who were behind the revolution in Egypt were “decimated” in the election’s first round. And in “Who will rule Egypt?” by Adel Al-Toraifi (Asharq Al Awsat, December 9), this political commentator wrote that: “a number of observers anticipate that the Islamist parties’ proportion of the vote will continue to rise in the second and third rounds, thereby increasing their total score to over 70% of seats in Egypt’s People’s Assembly and Shura Council.” However, The Daily Star (December 9) published an article indicating that on December 8, “The Muslim Brotherhood pulled out of an advisory council that the ruling Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) had established to shape an appointed 100-member commission that will write a new Constitution. The Brotherhood believes the elected Parliament alone should appoint the commission, and sees the SCAF move as another attempt by the military to maintain its 60-year-old control of national power in Egypt.”

The MB is led by professionals (e.g., doctors, engineers, teachers, etc.), and its slogan is “Islam is the solution.” However, according to Reuters’ “Egypt’s Brotherhood feels its time has come” (December 1), its critics say the MB is masking “their goals of turning Egypt into an Islamic state by stealth, curbing freedoms for 80 million people who include some 8 million Christian Copts.” In “Israel, Egyptian Copts worry over majority Islamist win in Egypt’s election” (Al Arabiya News, December 4), Girgis Szaki said, “All Copts are worried. We didn’t expect this,” regarding the strong Islamist vote in Egypt’s election. In an Associated Press (AP) story, “Muslim Brotherhood’s machine helps in Egypt vote” (November 30), Coptic Christian Carmen George explained, “They’re not playing fair,” regarding two MB activists outside her Cairo polling station. According to the AP story, one election volunteer “told an undecided voter to choose the scale, the soccer ball and the crocodile—the campaign symbols [on campaign literature and the ballot] of the [MB] party and its two local candidates.”

Not only are the Copts worried, but so too are the Israelis. According to the Tel Aviv newspaper Yediot Aharonot, one security agency official exclaimed: “It’s even worse than expected” (Al Arabiya News, December 4). This is because, in part, the authors (Tom Perry and Edmund Blair) of the Reuters article mentioned above wrote that while MB’s leaders wouldn’t cancel the 1979 peace treaty with Israel, “more like [they] would be preserving the deal while cancelling all forms of cooperation with Israel, diplomats say.”

Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak said the initial results of Egypt’s parliamentary elections are “very, very disturbing” (Al Arabiya News, December 3). This same edition of Al Arabiya News indicated that “Israel’s main fear is the Muslim Brotherhood, which has… close ties with Gaza Strip’s rulers, Hamas.” Of course, Hamas comes from the MB, and regarding the early Islamist success in the Egyptian election, Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhum told Agence France Press, “It is a very good result.” Barhum also said the Egyptian poll results and Islamic gains in Tunisia should make the West understand that its attempt to politically marginalize Islam were not succeeding (Al Arabiya News, December 3).

On October 23, the Associated Press published “Libyan Leader Declares Nation Islamic, Sharia Law To Be Implemented,” indicating that transitional government leader Mustafa Abdul-Jalil said Sharia Law would be the “basic source” of legislation and existing laws that contradict the teachings of Islam would be nullified. Under Sharia Law, there must be at least four witnesses for sex crimes (e.g., rape). How can Americans, especially women (including liberals like Hillary Clinton) support revolutions which implement this kind of law which makes it extremely difficult for a raped woman to seek justice?

Many of these rebels who ousted Moammar Gadhafi were connected with Al Qaeda, which came from the MB. Only a few hours before Abdul-Jalil’s statement, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had called for an investigation into Gadhafi’s death, because it appeared to be an execution after he was detained. It was an execution, and the person who did it should be held accountable. However, that person can at least say Gadhafi was armed (he had a golden gun), and that if he was held accountable for being an executioner, then so too should Pres. Obama and the “executioners” of Osama bin Laden who was not armed and not resisting (as were one of his sons and a woman executed though unarmed)!

And what are the results of the Libyan revolution relevant to the MB and Israel? A DEBKAfile exclusive report on November 11, 2011 began: “Fifty Libyan Muslim Brotherhood mercenaries arrived in the Gaza Strip from Tripoli last month, in time to take part in the Jihad Islami’s last missile offensive against Israel starting October 29.” The Libyan MB members brought new Grad multiple rocket launchers “some 2000 kilometers through Egypt to reach the Gaza Strip, raising questions about how it had failed to arouse the notice of local security units. Western sources discovered that the Egyptian Islamic Brotherhood had made all the necessary arrangements for the Libyan Brotherhood mercenaries’ long trek to Gaza under its protection, and more are on the way.” DEBKAfile further indicated that “most of these rapid-firing missiles were also able to evade Israel’s Iron Dome missile interceptors.” Six days after the DEBKAfile exclusive report, on November 17 Libyan MB held its first congress after 25 years in Benghazi, with speakers from the Tunisian Ennahda Party (an offshoot of the MB) and from Syria’s MB. Islamists like the MB are said to have a tactical advantage in the next Libyan election because they are better organized just as in Egypt.

At a Global Counterterrorism Forum (co-managed by the U.S. and Turkey) in Algeria November 16, Algerian national Mokhtar Belmokhtar [believed to be one of the leaders of Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM)] said, “We have been one of the main beneficiaries of the revolutions in the Arab world.” This is according to an Agence France Press news release that further indicated “delegates [to the forum] also discussed the possible links between AQIM and the Nigerian Islamists of Boko Haram, who have claimed responsibility for a string of deadly attacks there.”

The next country marked by the Power Elite (PE) for revolution is Syria, and posted on Britannia Radio October 22 by Barry Rubin is the following analysis regarding the leadership of the Syrian revolution: “I believe that the Turkish Islamist regime deliberately helped produce a Syrian leadership that is more Islamist and more Muslim Brotherhood-controlled than was necessary…. Of the 19 members of the General Secretariat whose names have been published, four are identified as Muslim Brotherhood and six more as independent Islamists.” And in “Europe seeks U.N. action against Syria; Brotherhood open to Turkish intervention” (Al Arabiya News, November 17), one reads that “a leader of Syria’s outlawed Muslim Brotherhood Mohammed Riad Shaqfa, in exile in Saudi Arabia, said the Syrian people would accept military intervention by Turkey rather than Western countries, to protect them from President Bashar al-Assad’s security forces.” A majority of Syrians are Sunni Muslims as are the Turks, and Assad is an Alawite Shiite Muslim. In an article the Alawites in Al Arabiya News (December 10), restaurant owner Yusuf Mutlu claimed that “the Muslim Brotherhood are the ones that are creating all of these incidents” of violence in Syria. And the November 17 Al Arabiya News article mentioned above indicated that “the Syrian National Council is the foremost opposition [to Assad] group,” and includes members of the MB.

What has been the result for Christians of all these revolutions? On Newsmax.com (October 24), Henry Reske wrote that “more than half of Iraqi Christians—an estimated 400,000 people—have left the country over the last decade as power has fallen in the hands of increasingly hostile Shi’a Islamic leaders…. In Egypt,… at least 95,000 Christians have emigrated since March 2011. The number could reach 250,000 by the end of this year…. The parties that are gaining power in Libya, Egypt, Tunisia, and other countries tend to be offshoots of the fundamentalist Muslim Brotherhood.”

Things have gotten so bad for Christians in Egypt that The Christian Post on November 10 reported that “the president of the International Christian Union and the American Coptic Association, Monir A. Dawoud, has written a letter to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton asking for the United States’ support in protecting the Copts, or Christians of Egypt, from the Muslim Brotherhood…. Dawoud said in the letter that a movement by the Brotherhood is underway to annihilate Christians and other minority religious groups in Egypt…. He told Clinton the Brotherhood’s ultimate goal is not only to change the U.S. Constitution to the Quran, but to dominate other democratic countries as well. ‘A planned destruction to America is going on,’ he said. ‘The Muslim Brotherhood [MB] is deadly serious about waging what it calls “civilization Jihad” against the United States and other freedom-loving nations in order to secure their submission to the Islamic totalitarian political-military-legal doctrine called Sharia. The MB’s goal in this country is to replace our great constitution with theirs, namely the Koran and they regard this task as one commanded by none other than Allah.’”

And what is the relationship of the PE to what is happening in the Middle East and North Africa today? PE agent Zbigniew Brzezinski (ZB) was national security for Pres. Jimmy Carter and supported formerly-exiled Ayatollah Khomeini’s revolution in Iran. ZB now is an advisor to Pres. Barack Obama and sees Turkey (Sunni majority) as the model for Islamic revolutionaries in the Middle East and North Africa.

After five decades of exile, Sunni Sheikh Youssef al-Qaradawi returned to Egypt as the main advisor to the MB. Pleasing the PE, he supported the NATO intervention in Libya and says he would support UN intervention in Syria (ruled by the Shiite Assad). Like PE agent ZB, Qaradawi points to Turkey as “a model that Arab countries can benefit from” (“Outspoken cleric guides Arabs in revolution,” Financial Times, December 8).

Pressuring Israel, he has supported Palestinian suicide attacks there. And fitting in the PE’s Secret Nazi Plan, Qaradawi on Al Jazeera TV (January 28, 2009) said: “Throughout history, Allah has imposed upon the Jews people who would punish them for their corruption…. The last punishment was carried out by [Adolph] Hitler. By means of all the things he did to them—even though they exaggerated this issue—he managed to put them in their place. This was divine punishment…. Allah willing, the next time will be at the hand of the believers.”
