As discussed in Part I of “For the Time Is at Hand,” America is on the verge of becoming a government-controlled socialistic/fascist nation, unless some leaders who actually love America are elected and appointed to political offices. Seven examples related to this trend toward socialism/fascism were discussed. Now, let’s consider some other ways that the government has attemped to turn America into a socialistic/fascist nation. The next five are as follows:
1. Government Adoption of George Orwellian Ideology: In his 1949 book entitled 1984, George Orwell depicted a futuristic society that promoted continuous warfare, the constant watching of people through surveillance, and criminalizing negative thoughts toward the government and certain groups of people. Unfortunately, Mr. Orwell’s futuristic society has finally come to fruition in America. In fact, America has been at war for so long that it has become the acceptable norm of most people. Also, as a result of the Patriot Act, as discussed earlier, surveillance cameras have been installed throughout the United States for the purpose of keeping check on the “bad guys.” Of course, in reality, could it be used to keep check on the “good guys?” Finally, as more Americans are finding out, legislators are attempting to enact laws that criminalize a person’s thoughts or words. This is the reason that the U.S. government and the United Nations are attempting to criminalize the thoughts or words of anyone who speak out against homosexuality and Islam. As a result, the government has given these two groups special protection and, as a result, anyone who offends a homosexual or a Islamic believer would be fined and or incarcerated in jail or prison. While, at the same time, any one who offends a Christian or a straight man or woman would receive a Congressional Medal of Honor. Therefore, the Book of Revelation was correct when it stated, “for the time is at hand.”
2. Attempting to Force Religions to Bow to Government Demands: One of the greatest freedoms that people in America have is the freedom of religion. In fact, this was one of the main reasons that European immigrants came to America. As a result of this freedom, the United States government has no authority to demand Americans to do things that is contrary to their religious beliefs. However, President Obama is mandating that Catholics provide for abortion and contraceptive services in their health care policies. Of course, this mandate, like so many of his mandates, are unconstitutional, but America’s wimpy Congress and Supreme Court will not do their respective jobs and check his violation of the Supreme Law of the Land, the U.S. Constitution, which all government officials swear an oath to defend the concepts in it. But, as most Americans know, President Obama attempts to usurp the Constitution’s authority on a regular basis. Needless to say, though, President Obama may have finally woke up Catholics and Protestants to the anti-Christian bigotry that he purports, despite the fact that he says that he is a Christian. If Christianity loses this battle, what freedom will Americans lose next. Therefore, the Book of Revelation was correct when it stated, “for the time is at hand.”
3. Too Much Government Involvement in Daily Lives of Americans: For some unknown reason, the Democratic Party and its leaders enjoy forcing Americans to live their lives based on the standards that the federal government dictates. For example, recently in North Carolina, a 4-year girl was about to eat her lunch that she brought from home. Her lunch contained a turkey and cheese sandwich, a banana, a bag of potato chips, and a small container of apple juice. Unfortunately, for the little girl, a government agent was at the school lunchroom that particular day checking the contents of all lunches brought from home. When he inspected the little girls lunch, the government agent said that her lunch did not meet government standards. As a result, she had to eat a school lunch. But, what gives the government the right to inspect lunches brought from home to decide if they meet government standards? In fact, this government agent violated the little girl’s personal rights and the parents’ rights to make decisions for their own daughter. Needless to say, if the government is permitted to inspect student lunches brought from home and to decide that these lunches are unacceptable, what will these fascist agents inspect next? Therefore, the Book of Revelation was correct when it stated, “for the time is at hand.”
4. Taxed into Serfdom: It is apparent that President Obama and his administration have one main objective. They are working overtime to tax Americans into a government system of socialism, a system that requires all Americans to depend solely on the government for their every need. This is the purpose of heavy taxation and the redistribution of wealth, which is one of the main tenets of socialism. As taxes continue to increase, the less money that Americans will have to sustain their families. Then, just as any socialist government desires, Americans will have to bow to the dictates of the government in exchange for a few crumbs of bread. As a result, Americans will finally become serfs in a land that once was the place that people migrated to obtain a piece of the pie of success and the private ownership of property. But, if America continues give in to the demands of an ungodly government, since it has rebelled against the One and Only True and Living God, the more the United States will look like Europe during the Middle Ages, which was also called the Dark Ages. Therefore, the Book of Revelation was correct when it stated, “for the time is at hand.”

5. The Government Turning Its Back on Israel: America and Israel have been friends and allies since the creation of Israel in May 1948. Fortunately, this friendship and alliance has made America a prosperous nation. However, the current administration has basically turned its back on Israel. As a result, America has become a nation that has been cursed by God and has lost much of its prosperity. Of course, God said that this would happen to any nation that rebelled against Almighty God. As written in Genesis 12:3, “And I will bless those who bless you, And the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” Unfortunately, this is the scenario that is being displayed in America today. America’s leaders and even some Christians have distanced themselves from Israel, but, at the same time, they have demanded that Israel give up even more of its land to the Palestinians.
But, it is amazing that political leaders who say that they are Christians and many Christians in general want to desecrate the covenant God made with Abraham when He gave all the disputed land in Israel to Abraham thousands of years ago. Evidently, these politicians and other Christians who are responsible for the curses on America have not read the Old Testament because, if they had, they would support Israel and not the Palestinians. Ultimately, it is the curses of God that are going to bring America to its knees, unless the government and the people of the United States return to God and support the Israel, the homeland of the Lord Jesus Christ. Finally, for those gainsayers and skeptics who do not believe that God can use His curses to bring America to its knees, just remember Noah and the Flood and Moses and the Ten Plagues of God. In fact, these curses brought death and destruction to those who failed to follow the dictates of the Lord God Jehovah, the Only True and Living God. Therefore, the Book of Revelation was correct when it stated, “for the time is at hand.”
In conclusion, it is obvious that there are a myriad of scenarios that could change America into a socialistic, one world government society. But, what could be the driving forces in America’s total political make over? One driving force would be the current administration that campaigned on the platform of “We Believe in Change.” Of course, President Obama and his czars have done exactly that in less than four years. They have changed America politically, economically, and socially. However, there is a driving force even more subtle than the current, liberal Democratic regime (Regime is a good word to use here since the word “czar” makes a person think of the former Soviet Union or Hitler’s Third Reich). This driving force is the secret society known as the Illuminati, even though much is known about it.
The Illuminati is a group of the most influential and elite men and women in the world who are determined to undermine the way of life in America. The Illuminati’s main goal is to spearhead the effort to get America to become a charter member of a one world government. But, anyone who would dare advocate such a premise would be classified as a conspiracy theorist. One such person who has purported that the Illuminati exists and is on the verge of being successful is Tex Marrs, an author, researcher, and president of Power of Prophecy Ministries. Of course, whether you agree or disagree with Mr. Marrs predictions in the past, he did list the manner in which the Illuminati would achieve its goals in his article entitled “How the Illuminati Is Destroying America” over six years ago in September 2005. The major examples that purport that the Illuminati is trying to destroy America are:
1.
Immigration lawlessness and the rise of crimes by illegal aliens
2. Government bankruptcy and indebtedness at an all time
high
3. Social Security swindle: Social Security Fund battered
as Feds blow money on worthless spending scams
4. Outsourcing of American jobs
5. Corporate Globalism
6. Hate Crime Laws: state, federal, and U.N.-forbid free
speech and prohibit the Christian gospel from being preached
7. Sexual Barbarism and Dehumanization
8. Unfair Tax System
9. War of Terrorism used as a pretext to create an American
police state
10. Religion Debasement

Of course, if these are the methods proposed by the Illuminati to drive America into accepting a one world government, it has been extremely successful, since all these events are occurring in America now. Also, if the premises of this essay are true, the United Nations and all other one world government promoters could very well see their dreams come true in the very near future, unless God-fearing Christians take control of the government at the local, state, and federal level. Without a return to God, America best days might just be over. Therefore, the Book of Revelation was correct when it stated, “for the time is at hand.”
